Interestingly enough, you mentioned this JUST as I was trying to remember what that was called. I remember liking it, but couldn't think of the name.eIohim wrote:
Radiata Stories. It was so awesome..
I don't mean to offend, but I really don't see why shadow of the colossus is such a legendary game. I mean, it has great graphics, sounds and music, very realistic gameplay(though I myself find it sloppy, sort of like the uncanny valley effect where when something becomes too realistic you tend to notice its flaws, but that's a personal opinion, i can't deny they put a lot of work into gameplay and it worked out quite well).loqueses57 wrote:

I don't mean in a traditional sense, at least stuff to interact with, it doesn't detract from the experience at all unlike having nothing in the world, which doesn't make it lonely, just boring.eIohim wrote:

Why would I want npc in my huge empty game?
It's an artistic game. Nearly everything you criticize about the game was done purposefully, so the obvious conclusion is that it's just not a game suited for your tastes.-A t H e N a- wrote:

Not entirely. It still gets choppy in some areas. The 3D is decent but there's a number of spots where there's huge ghosting in the landscape until you get really close to it. Every HD update/port I've played so far has been shoddily/lazily done and this was no exception.Ivalset wrote:
The only problem with that game was its framerate issues, and those were resolved in the hd remake.
But if u already know how to play, its easy.TheNutritiousGuy wrote:

There are lots of games more complicated than Pokémon. Its strong suit is the amount of variety and personalization it allows in a team without loss of competitiveness.TheNutritiousGuy wrote:

Clearly you have not played Dwarf Fortress.TheNutritiousGuy wrote:

I respect the fuck out of Grandia but it would be really nice to have a modern Grandia game. Preferably one with either a harder difficulty option or some actual post-game content.2nnt wrote:
Grandia. I'm highly disappointed if nobody else has this as favourite game.
But think about who plays Pokemon. Isn't it kind of irony?Ivalset wrote:
That's not really that complex. A lot of games have similar levels of complexity.

This question is evil. One does not simply have a 'favourite game'. If i'm looking for some quick fix/satisfaction I'd say Osu is my favourite, In terms of best gameplay and overall most fun i've had on a game (not to mention 3000 hours gametime clocked) I would say Final Fantasy 12 for it's sheer size and complexity, you could play it for years and find new things about the game with each play. However if i want a game to truly test my reflexes and technical skill, Osu, Guitar hero and games of that nature would be my favourite.
Seriously i'm just scraping the surface of what i want to say here, this question has destroyed me.
Level of complexity far too high i think ur taking this too seriously ._.ArachneEclaire wrote:
