Well, that seems to be the main difference between my DS Lite and a 3DS, so wouldn't want to spend that much money on a feature I won't even use.Blazevoir wrote:

I'll add if you have Mario Kart 7 (or plan to get it) and you join our kartparties. *still has people who didn't add me back for about 3 months already*hetaliafangirl99 wrote:

It's been exactly one year since the Nintendo 3DS system launched across North America on March 27, 2011. In that time, millions of people like you have discovered the fun of Nintendo 3DS.
To help celebrate this special anniversary, a surprise visitor is waiting to greet you in StreetPass Mii Plaza.
His face will be familiar to Nintendo fans, and you’ll see that he’s dressed for the occasion!
The game is super addicting because of its "Fiend's Cauldron" difficulty feature, it makes you want to replay levels multiple times for greater challenges and prizes. The achievements are definitely an incentive to try different challenges because you get power up rewards and sometimes even new weapons. Everyday we get a new weapon crystal from Lady Pauletena via spot pass and some are really awesome! The voice acting is cheesy, but fun, its like having nonstop cut scenes without slowing down the game and action. The multiplayer is great and there is always hearts (cash) and secret reward given out after every match. There's soo much more to it than i can explain and I'm barely halfway through the main game!Blazevoir wrote:
Any highlights on Kid Icarus: Uprising's good points?
I'm aware that you can raise the difficulty level, and I know the action is probably hectic on the highest difficulty and probably multiplayer, but I mean like... do we get to use power-ups found on the field/sky, if any, for both single- and multi-player? If not, I'm still not convinced.xerxes_oli wrote:

Power ups? As in the "spell" like things you see in the Multiplayer preview video? You get to use those in Land Battles in both single and multiplayer. As for sky battles, you can only use one *clear screen* skill. Each Power up has levels and amount of uses, but also means bigger blocks. (You get a grid and you place what power ups you want to use, like a puzzle)Blazevoir wrote:

Wanna point out that power ups and weapons you earn in multiplayer can be used in single player and vice versa.Shinxyn wrote:

Stat upgrades depend on weapons (includes hp boost, def boost, speed boost, status attack, etc), and those can be played around with via weapon fusion.

Bomber34, you get multiplayer Coop after Episode 3 is cleared...
Best part is that I don't have the issues I had with MK7 when playing this game, so I can play online without any real issues! Yay!Azure_Kite wrote:
Multiplayer is amazingly fast paced and balanced. I love it just for the sheer fun of it all.
Me, I added you first and I been waiting for you to add me.mm201 wrote:

If you edited the first post without creating a new post with your FC, I probably didn't add you. (I did catch jeri)
PM me if I haven't added you and I know who you are.
Nobody gets my name right... Though the removal is justified.mm201 wrote:

I have one earlier in this topic but I'm too lazy to find it. Anyways, I'll add you later tonight when I also add CDFAmm201 wrote:
I wonder if we should have a Pushmo topic, or at least some place to keep our custom Pushmos and other things. I just started playing it and this is what I've made:
It's more linear than I'd like. Making good Pushmos is really hard!
Edit: I'll just edit them into the first post I guess.
I'm too poor to go to any kind of convention...RemmyX25 wrote:

Shit's gonna be ballin as hell, you KNOW I'm all over that. Seeing the previews are kind of what made me get the 3DS.Koro McAlpine wrote:

...You still haven't completed that game? Wasn't that game released like more than 5 years ago? Anyway, I've played all of the Paper Mario games. There's canon appearances and references to the previous game(s), but the stories don't tie in with each other. That being said, you probably won't understand a few/some of the references if you haven't played whichever Paper Mario game (one example being a Paper Mario character being referenced in PM:TTYD).mm201 wrote:
Dammit now I'm going to need to finish playing through 1KYD. I guess the stories are isolated enough that there shouldn't be too many spoilers.
I have August 2, 2012 as both of their release dates... but yeah, as far as I know they're being released on the same day.Koro McAlpine wrote:
According to the 3DS release date list from GameStop, it said Paper Mario 3DS and Luigi's Mansion 2 will be released on a same date (May 2nd for the North American release). Is that's true or what?
You forgot The Thousand Year Door, lol.Mianki wrote:
Going a bit off topic here, but started playing the first Paper Mario. Man this looks nice. And the super paper mario looks good as well. Gotta play them and then buy Paper Mario 3DS
I completely agree. Being able to play as multiple characters and use new mechanics (e.g. Mario's 3D/sideways mode) were nice, and the storyline was great, but overall the gameplay and battles were just too sub-par...Blazevoir wrote:
Anyway, Super Paper Mario was the worst of the games so far, mostly because it didn't follow the first two games, but also because it was generally repetitive. Probably its story was the only thing that was worth noting.
Good thinking. Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door are both fantastic. Super Paper Mario is, as I and others have said, merely alright. The gameplay isn't much, and the settings get less interesting as the game goes on. The only thing worth seeing it through for is the trademark Mario RPG excellent writing.Mianki wrote:

TBH, I see Super Paper Mario much more like a spin-off than a main entry for the reasons stated so far.Derekku wrote:

I've replayed the first two games countless times, but have only played SPM once...
