yeah, I think it'd work if you just extended the black part to the right, moved the "STREAM" to the corner or something, and add more of those neon circles to fill in the extended negative space

I'm going to sound just plain nit-picky, so I apologize in advance but I like this. Could I get a render with less compression (even just a flat-out 24-bit png, filesize be damned!) and a pure black for the background? The current background's using a grey shade of #131313

and off topic, I dislike how Windows does not correctly support wallpapers for separate resolutions. Come on, Microsoft, the aspect ratio's the same

32-bit = 24-bit + 8 bits of transparency, so for this image it's the same thing.

Thanks again! The version you linked looks great.

The compression appears to be a fault of my OS; when setting the 32-bit PNG version I'd see compression on the desktop, but not when I viewed the image directly. Got that sorted out though and now it's just plain gorgeous, thanks!

Very impressed, that looks fabulous.
The black works a lot nicer to be in contrast with the rest of the colours in the wallpaper itself with the colours 'popping' out more.

Couple facts:

It took about 36 total hours to pull that entire thing together, a lot of it comes from research
Most of the events come from logs so yes, some spelling mistakes were intentional.
While I did take soooome liberties with the staff, peppy's quotes are very close to the real thing
There were 1120 layers mostly due to the large amount of text in it
The original image was 225 mb, what you're seeing is about 12mb
Only Sinistro and Kirby had some vague idea of what was going on this entire time
It took about 2.5 weeks to get everything done, including research and others
This was supposed to be longer but I decided to cut down on events to save some time
The original gift was supposed to be a video but as I worked on it, this idea was a bit more favorable
Yes, this was the secret project I was working on all this time
