32-bit = 24-bit + 8 bits of transparency, so for this image it's the same thing. ;)

Thanks again! The version you linked looks great.

The compression appears to be a fault of my OS; when setting the 32-bit PNG version I'd see compression on the desktop, but not when I viewed the image directly. Got that sorted out though and now it's just plain gorgeous, thanks!

Very impressed, that looks fabulous.
The black works a lot nicer to be in contrast with the rest of the colours in the wallpaper itself with the colours 'popping' out more.

And yes, I have been this much of an asshat to JJ throughout the whole thing, and even more.
But in the end, we did a nice job, right? Even though we've got some issues with schedules!
We're definitely alive though, and not only are we gonna be back with a vengeance, but this time I'm actually gonna be working on translations as well. Go 2012.

Makes me think of how great this community is (when we're not goofing off or being little shits c:), and with all the effort put into everything everyone's done over the years. Keep it up o!mteam! >3<

Couple facts:
  1. It took about 36 total hours to pull that entire thing together, a lot of it comes from research
  2. Most of the events come from logs so yes, some spelling mistakes were intentional.
  3. While I did take soooome liberties with the staff, peppy's quotes are very close to the real thing
  4. There were 1120 layers mostly due to the large amount of text in it
  5. The original image was 225 mb, what you're seeing is about 12mb
  6. Only Sinistro and Kirby had some vague idea of what was going on this entire time
  7. It took about 2.5 weeks to get everything done, including research and others
  8. This was supposed to be longer but I decided to cut down on events to save some time
  9. The original gift was supposed to be a video but as I worked on it, this idea was a bit more favorable
  10. Yes, this was the secret project I was working on all this time

Well, the New Years' edition kinda became the February (and now March, I suppose) edition after a few delays, so there was no February edition for this to be used for (The New Years' Edition cover was already finished).
