Now we need a continueing James training. Those maps are too easy when you're used to it. I want to do approved songs good and stuff 
here is a tip, keep playing the approved maps, you're bound to fc one of them after a thousand tries, the same way you tried with this training pack

I have been playing OSU for 4 months now. During my second month of playing OSU! I have realized how much i sucked and decided to hit the forums in search of answers of how to become a Pro OSU! player. During that time i had found this forum and learned that James Training will help me achieve my dream of becoming a Pro OSU! player.
Over the past 2 months I've strived for greatness but my time with James Training wasn't pleasant. I cannot say how many times i have failed the songs and how many times i had a raged over those ninja spinners that always killed me!!! At one time I even thought of jumping out the window to end all of the pain and suffering. But i endured and thought of the future when i would actual be Pro OSU! player who could beat these songs.
2 weeks ago i had a breakthrough and learned the secret of OSU!! and had beaten the first song on the list.
The road had been difficult and treacherous, but breathtakingly beautiful and enlightening as well. Now i must say that i have reached the point where i can B rank the songs on the list, and only after 2 months of arduous training program that i can say i have reached the rank of 1287.
Now I must say THANK YOU!! James Training for helping me become a great OSU! player.
Also I must Thank my new mouse Razer Death Adder (that I've gotten 2 weeks ago) for helping me achieve my greatness.

I just started to play osu! a few days ago when I passed by this thread and saw this course. I tried it and started to feel hopeless after playing just a few minutes of this course but I still ignored the warning persevered to beat a map of James Training. After a day of rigorous training all my hard work payed off when I started to beat a James Training map. (Particularly Red Rocket Rising!) From now on I'll continue with this course and hope to reach ranks like 500 - 2000 in the future!

Not sure if I should be posting in a thread that's been dead for a few months, but I wanted to mention that this bootcamp amazing training regimen actually works! I started yesterday and died after a few seconds, but after a day of nothing but this, my jumps, timing, and overall ability have increased significantly.
Sure, it's hard, but nothing comes for free. As for myself, I'll be moving onto another map in the training package. Someone save me.

Finally managed to beat this Deadly,evil,killing,bastardish-much, AWESOME training, I feel the power surging through my finger-veins. I SHALL not recommend this to everyone!!! May the WORLD know THE most twisted,BEST training that there ever was‼ 
At first I thought this was just some trolling attempt. But the songs are actually quite nice, and it does help to practice on them.

haha wow its so intense yet it does work i'm very sure from what i see my scores go up non stop so this is the best thing ever XD im no expert but i am very good at masochistic training habits in gaming so this is really meant for me to do lol love it love it so much, James training FTW! ^^

You really should try to pass it harder without any mods. Also this really helped me improving my skills back when I was starting to play Hard maps.
this really improves me alot.. when I finish the Breakdown bitmap, the other BeforU maps is easy to finish.. then I was able to finish some hard songs thanks to this.
I don't think playing over 3 year old maps really gets anyone prepared for playing recent maps since the style is completely different

Yeah, not very effective, James. Though, all I played was breakdown, and still can't pass it with a S/A. lol, but i can pass some insane maps. bu that's only because every time i go in multi player that's all people play -.-
Break Down is one of the hardest maps iirc. The maps in the pack are of varied difficulty, with some being quite tame. Try changing them up until you can FC all of them.

I'm curious as to if this is even really a good training anymore. I'm in the high 12k ranks, downloaded this song pack today, and within an hour FC/S'd every song in the pack. Maybe the general song style nowadays is far harder? I dunno, because I can pass things like Cirnos Perfect Math Class Insane, U.N. Owen was her insane, and strangeprogram insane and feel like those are substantially harder than these

There's a limit to what someone can teach you. There aren't rules to being super pro, because the super pros are gifted. You'll need more than just osu to move to the next level.

Just FC'd all the maps. They're not too bad. Only thing is that in each map, at least one slider has a COMPLETELY retarded shape that just throws off my rhythm, and it's annoying.
Love Shine is the only one i failed to SS that spinner stream is too intense...
that spinner stream is too intense...Back when this was made, the top 50 scores on the highest difficulty on each map did not comprise solely of FCs. In fact, it wasn't anywhere close to that. It actually took quite a while until people started FCing these maps like crazy. Keep in mind that good-quality Insanes didn't start to become a real trend until sometime near the end of 2008, and then continued to grow until the peak of overmapping hell sometime in 2009. Now it's pretty standard for mapsets to have an Insane, compared to back then where two-difficulty mapsets was very common. Maps as a whole haven't gotten significantly harder since 2009, though.Chozo007 wrote:

Hooray for being an old fag! Oh, and this thread wasn't completely serious to begin with. It was actually partially a joke. The training worked, of course, but that's more because they were the best "hard" maps back then to practice with than anything to do with these maps being magical.

How can you even train when you play strangeprogram, U.N., Cirno's, etc.
Better to start off small than get crushed by the weight of these difficulties
