I feel like 00:02:515 (1) - should be more emphasised, like you did with 00:04:736 (1) - ?

permalink

I prefer the current one since it's first part that melody actually comes in and i want to have more clickables gradually. Good point though.

00:05:277 (3,4) - this overlap doesn't look very nice + I see no reason to have a smaller spacing here comapring to 1,2,3

permalink

overlapped a bit more

permalink

00:08:903 (1,4) - blanket could be cleaner

permalink

I agree.

00:09:995 - You seem to be following the violin so it feels odd to me that you skip this sound. You can move over 00:09:717 (3) - by one tick and place a circle a 00:09:717 - and it sounds good imo

permalink

Ok

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:27:251 (2) - Should be 1/2 slider and a circle, since you follow the guitar at the beginnings.

permalink

Wanted 00:26:938 (1,2,3) - stanza to be vocal since the melody momentarily dies there

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:31:408 (1,2) - Could reduce the spacing a bit here and and slowly space out 00:32:230 (3,4) - a bit more for emphasis
Could rotate 00:32:492 (4) - if that helps

permalink

I made those spacing even to represent even strength of those guitar sound

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:35:853 (1,2,1,2,3,4) - I think spacing here should be different (vice versa or sth). You don't big spacing for 00:35:853 (1,2,1) - which have stronger instrumentals, while 00:38:349 (2,3,4) - these barely have any sound but you use much bigger spacing on them

permalink

uhh, this was mentioned? But unresolved?

permalink

The sound there is so light that putting average ds seemed a waste.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:35:853 (1,2,1) - higher spacing for emphasis on isolated guitar riffs

permalink

00:35:853 (1,2) - was done on purpose since it reflects the guitar better. I wouldn't call it riff.. but just a simple strum..

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:37:794 (1) - I'd ctrl+g to emphasize the dominant guitar. Also if you apply this, both 00:38:349 (2,3) - should be switched as well.

permalink

I think current reflects the song pretty well! 00:36:678 (2,1) - is basically solo acoustic guitar so minimal spacing fits pretty well I think

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:38:349 (2,3,4) - Spacing seems to be a bit much for a part where there is barely anything audible tbh, could use a reverse slider instead to avoid unnecessary amount of single taps

permalink

as an example of why it's not fitting, 00:43:069 (2,3) - actual sounds and the spacing is lower

permalink

Okieee

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:38:349 (2,3,4) - The sounds here are really quiet in the music while the hitsamples are quite loud, consider lowering the volume a bit to reflect the sounds of the music.

permalink

I actually applied for entire map

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:39:170 (5,6,1) - for visuals you could make gaps (note! I don't mean distance, ds is okay!) between these objects the same. It would look nicer to look if they had similar visual gaps

permalink

wanted to show 00:40:289 (1) - vocal starts there tho

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:44:456 - id make clickable for unique clack sound
01:01:686 (4) - this end also and etc

permalink

Following the vocals there!

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:46:964 (1) - I get that the guitar is more subtle which is why you went for the 1/1 slider but I think going for the same rythm as earlier but with less spacing might fit better. (Same rythm as in like 00:44:742 (1,2) - that one)

permalink

You're correct about making distinction between strong and weak sound with slider usage but making them same rhythm as before makes previous one feel less pronounced. Thus, I will just leave it as is!

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:46:964 (1) - Maybe duplicate to 1/2 reverse slider or 1/2 slider with a circle to emphasize the guitar and vocals better.

permalink

The section here are very calm (as opposed to other parts of the colourhex'd parts) so simple 1/1 works better there ;w;

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

00:49:185 (1) - There is no sound in this sliderend that fits with the music at all, perhaps consider silencing this sliderend?

permalink
permalink

02:42:502 (1) - Add this one as well.

permalink

That's there because vocal keeps going but I wanted to have clickable where sliderend really ended

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

The sound on 00:56:958 (4) - stands out alot i think. Maybe up the spacing a bit to make the player feel that sound more?

permalink

Sure!

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:04:742 (1,3) - you rarely use these kinds of overlaps and it doesn't look very consistent. Would stack in your case (like you did 00:55:861 (1,3) - )

permalink

ok

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:15:575 (6) - the spacing is a bit high here for a note with such subtle guitar

permalink

You're right. Fixed.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:17:805 (6,1) - unstack since the guitar on 1 is relatively intense, moreso than the previous stack 01:16:689 (3,4) -
unstacking it would be nice since this 01:16:406 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - section seems to follow guitar riffs

permalink

These are mostly following the vocal.. Like stacks emphasize the vocal here 01:16:689 (3,4) - and 01:17:805 (6,1) -

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:18:064 (3) - Split to 1/2 would highlight the guitar better.

permalink

Sure! Fixed.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:18:336 - You sure don't want to add note? It's the first syllable of "dreaming" word

permalink

current is ok too, the vocal drags from 01:18:064 to 01:18:609 without much of break there.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:18:901 (2) - This sliderend here is clearly overmapped, there's absolutely no sound here and adding an additional sound here just doesn't fit. Changing this 1/4 slider into a circle would fit way better with the music.

permalink

Ok

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:19:178 (3,4) - Could make the circle not overlap with the slider, could instead have a slight blanket like https://puu.sh/DF6l0/4ad97b950a.png

permalink

Currently did like this for sake of having this diff as Hard, but sure

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:23:350 (1,1,2,3) - Clever way to map hearts! I like it a lot!

permalink

:)

permalink

Sure, i like it too owo

permalink

for you not to have to ignore that sound try it on 01:24:461 (1) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13390496

permalink

You're correct but I noticed following too hard with vocal makes it feel less intuitive to play so there are few places like this are left out so it plays better.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:25:291 (2) - why not center the circle in the heart?

permalink
permalink

uhh ok

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

These are all the times I feel like the 1/4 gap between the slider doesn't go with the music or vocals. This could just be a stylistic choice on your part so I don't think it's necessarily a problem.

01:29:216 (1,2)
01:46:960 (1,2)
02:42:502 (1,2)
03:10:012 (3,4)
03:15:020 (4,1)

The 1/4 gap here 00:49:185 (1,2) works because of how she says "won't you".

permalink

Sure, I fixed one at 01:29:216 (1,2) since there is clear instrument marking at 01:29:493, but rest of them are fine currently. Otherwise it will be really boring and not reflecting to the vocal as much. Thanks :)

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:29:742 (2) - space it closer to previous, there isn't an intense guitar sound or vocal assigned to that note yet its spaced higher than 01:28:631 (5) - which has a vocal assigned

permalink

Ok, I nerfed a little bit.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:46:960 (1) - Imo reduce the length to 1/2 slider might emphasize the guitar better, 1/3 slider here seems kinda pointless.

permalink

Sure! Fixed.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:50:587 (3) - spacing for high pitch guitar sound + intense vocal

permalink

Sure, applied your mod

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

01:57:993 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - it'd be cool if you used spacing that gradually gets smaller to represent the differences in guitar pitches instead of the same stack for all of them

permalink

Cool idea, but it's lil too complicated for the structure that I based on for this map

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:03:325 (4) - I don't think such short sliders are rankable. Would consider increasing the sv

permalink

Not sure if this is unrankable but i guess no biggie to change anyways. Changed sv.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:11:131 (4) - maybe stack this under 02:10:858 (3) - so 02:11:400 (1) - gets to stand out more due to the more intense beat

permalink

Changed differently but yea, applied.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:18:918 (3,4) - Swap position between circle and slider to make objects clickable on vocals which gives emphasize more better.

If you apply this, you might move the circle to stack 02:19:728 (5) - .

permalink

Wow nice. Fixed.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:34:462 (3) - Add a whistle on this sliderend? There's a clear guitar sound here, it would fit properly.

permalink

Ok applied

permalink

02:34:462 (3) - Add a whistle on this sliderend? There's a clear guitar sound here, it would fit properly.

permalink

Wrong copy& paste mod? The mod is same as #1022211

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

Oh sorry, I posted the same suggestion twice without noticing.

permalink

02:44:175 (5) - would convert to 2 circles for a better vocal representation

permalink

That would also give some rhythmic emphasis on 02:44:740 -

permalink

Current seem fine since vocal at 02:44:175 continues to 02:44:452 while parts after 02:44:452, there is less emphasized vocal compared to previous. Also wanted to pair with 02:41:964 (5) - in terms of rhythm.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:54:467 (3) - Duplicate to a circle and a 1/2 slider would emphasize both guitar and vocals more better.

permalink

Fixed!

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:55:567 (6,1) - unstack, the guitar sound on 1 is relatively intense and you don't stack in the first chorus 01:28:631 (5,6,1) - where the instruments are weaker

permalink

similar things 02:53:367 (4,1) - 03:00:059 (4,1) -

permalink

Fixed the first one as it seems necessary.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

02:59:482 (3,4) - I think the slider should come first then circle if you want to prioritize the vocal above all else

permalink

01:50:587 (3,4) - I missed this one

permalink

sure fixed both.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:01:121 (2,3,4) - the tone is getting down, music is getting less intense so it's not really appropriate to use such large spacing compared to the rest of your map

permalink

True, fixed.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:06:833 (1) - I would replace this slider to a circle... something like this https://gyazo.com/7167220ddcdad1761950a9d2186857da

permalink

03:06:971 there is a sound here

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:18:211 (1) - You could shorten that slider to 03:19:515 - that point and then use a burst on top of 03:20:020 (1) - to emphasize the guitar rather than the silent piano.

permalink

Not sure if I want to mix 1/8 and 1/4 as a stack :/

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:18:211 (1) - Would suggest making this a bit more curvy so it'd look more like a heart. (e.g. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13420573/398d or https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13420589/8006 or https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13420594/b97a)

permalink

Current looks fine https://i.imgur.com/QCORxm6.png and I prefer current one from those examples :x

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:18:211 (1,2,3) - spacing rn it looks like same distance as 03:16:410 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - this combo

permalink

Current one is fine since it's cleaner as that has a lot of BPM changes.

permalink
Marked as resolved by Sidetail

03:19:759 (1,1,1,1) - unnecessary too many NCs

permalink

Aight.
