i think the overall rhythm in this section 00:48:581 - could use some rework, i get what you're doing but right now the way you shifted back and forth between the melody and the background percussion is kind of... confusing ( 〃..)

like 00:49:748 (6,7,8,9) - here you have (6,7,8) follow the melody but then you went on to disregard the synth on 00:50:359 - abruptly

i think what you can do here is to follow the synth/melody first and foremost, AND then switch into the background drums whenever the main melody is not playing a new note

so for example :

00:48:415 (1,2,3,4,5) - keep rhythm
00:49:748 (6,7,8,9) - follow synth (map the sound in 00:50:359 - )
00:51:248 (1,2,3) - keep rhythm
00:52:415 (1,2,3,4) - follow synth (map the sound in 00:53:026 - )
00:53:748 (5,6,7,8,9) - keep rhythm
00:55:081 (1,2,3,4) - follow synth (map the sound in 00:55:692 - )

etc

pay attention to where you place your new combos — right now the placements of your new combos are very notably inconsistent, especially in the calmer parts

on placing new combos i would suggest to add a new combo on every downbeat (the long white line on the editor's timeline) as a starting point, and then proceed to add more new combos on areas/patterns that needs more emphasizing from there on

this was already discussed in discord earlier but yeah, your intro section is *way* too intense than it should be :(

i know that you're planning to remap it soon so i'll just drop in a few tips that hopefully can be helpful i guess :

  • use a lower slider velocity in general — this helps to build the much-needed contrast with the rest of the map

  • don't be afraid to ignore certain sounds in the song, as not every sound has to be mapped and every so often "undermapping" things may result in a more desirable outcome

  • having a constant stream of 1/2 circles is fine but if you do so avoid arranging the circles in a pattern that involves too much movement (e.g. as in 00:31:248 (3) - )

I think the visual spacing of some of your bursts are inconsistent:

(https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19052366/0469 vs https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19052368/837b)

the first image is 1/6, whereas the second is 1/12, yet both look identical, and is gonna cause a little confusion when playing, as players can't visually distinguish the speed of the burst other than the approach rate and how fast they appear.

personally I think it'd be better if you were to decrease the spacing of the quicker 1/12 bursts (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/19052371/59bd), and be consistent with the spacing as it'll condition the player to know the difference between 1/6 and 1/12 bursts, making it a lot more intuitive to play

made 1/12 bursts more stacked, and 1/6 more spaced compared to 1/12 (also 1/8 where applicable with 1/12 in same section i forgor)
