Considering that this won the beatmap contest, shouldn't the beatmap go straight to the ranked section? I am curious as to why this is not the case.
That only guarantees it'll get bundled with the client once it's ranked. Doesn't mean it receives extra special privileges. There can always be something wrong with the map where it needs to be fixed, hence qualified.
