00:42:318 (2) - Feels a bit underwhelming to have such a strong/harsh vocal on the repeat here, especially with the added whistle giving it even more impact to it, should do a couple sliders more like this and emphasize that one with higher/lower SV or something: https://i.imgur.com/qTeyugT.png
00:45:720 (1,2,3) - seems kinda underwhelming to stack the whole snare burst, i think it's represented better like 00:50:669 (1,2,3) - or 01:03:040 (1,2,3,4) -
00:55:617 (1,2,3) - 01:12:937 (1,2,3) - i agree, will change
00:45:720 (1,2,3) - this burst is very low intensity compared to the others as it is not backed up by any vocals and it doesnt build up into any significant sounds (the downbeat its leading to is just a kick). so i think its okay leaving this as is
ok nah ur right the stack is weird on a full snare burst I already have stacked bursts on kick triples
00:58:092 (4) - Should do full normal sampleset on this tbh so the hs across it is more consistent and sounds like a repeat moreso than 1/2 rhythm.
Pair of kicksliders would also be fine
01:00:566 (4) - this whole beat has 1/4 under it not sure if you ignored on purpose, if u want to keep slider body also has a drum addition whistle which seems really unneeded
okay i noticed you dont like the drum-hitwhistles i used throughout the map which is fair enough. but they are there to compliment the strain in vocals or some other high pitched noise such as 03:18:194 (1).
in this case, it is to compliment the strain in the vocal and which is additionally supported by the weird shape.
in that case, ill change the shape of 00:42:318 (2) - lol.
and yes i did ignore the 1/4 on purpose to focus on the vocal.
02:14:483 (4) - Prob NC here too for the rhythm gap, would be fine if there was more like it but given it's the only instance of this in this section, the NC would prob help here too
01:19:432 (1,2) - Should do a pair of kicksliders here to catch that background drum roll and differentiate that a bit from 01:19:122 (4,5) - rhythm wise https://i.imgur.com/vD8GMLJ.png
01:33:195 - don't agree with not mapping the kick or anything at all here. i would put a note here stacked under 01:33:040 (1) - and make 01:33:349 (2) - a jump to highlight melody as well
well it does foreshadow the rhythm at 04:23:761 - where i also skip out on kicks like 04:26:390. i think it is fine as is but if i were to change the rhythm to follow the kick i would also need to change the end or else it would stop making sense.
i think in this instance, 01:33:349 (2) - being a stop in movement is just as impactful as a large jump. i would argue it is more fitting as it is followed by a new musical phrase (idk music terms lol).
02:00:566 (1,2,3,4) - Should swap spacing around for these, the following drums on (3,4) feel way weaker than the snare on (1) which is generally the drum you emphasize the most across this part so something like this is more consistent with that overall emphasis: https://i.imgur.com/1xfRNrH.png
02:09:844 (3,5,7) - Totally subjective but I think NCs on these is a nice way to further emphasize that repetition
02:46:957 (4,5) - The spacing on this is kinda wild compared to most of the spacing given to similar rhythms in this part, and in combination with the following NC being spaced a tad too makes this a little bit overkill, should nerf this down to something closer to this-ish: https://i.imgur.com/QUjNI0Z.png
02:55:617 (1) - Should also bring this closer to the following note too, bit overkill here as well with it being a repeat so a bigger spike of movement coming off of it compared to a kickslider/ 1/2 + circle rhythm: https://i.imgur.com/1XRjc9K.png
03:22:060 (1) - 1/12 on 03:22:499 - sounds more accurate for this sound you're snapping this sliderend too, can hear a pretty clear difference if you temporarily put a normal sampleset on the sliderend when you check
03:34:277 (1) - the crashes feel really underwhelming as a repeat slider. i would prefer you make each crash be active and have 3 separate sliders/notes for this
the buildup leading to the repeat slider is very active. the repeat slider acts almost like a release moment when the density suddenly dies down. of course the sounds the slider is following are still very intense and impactful so i just made the SV higher to increase momentum and difficulty to still have that impact. so i would like this to stay as it does fit a very specific idea i had.
