00:30:610 (1) - Rhythm in this section can be improved to be more clearer which layers you want to focus on and where your emphasis is on.
This is especially noticeable in patterns such as 00:37:467 (1,2,3) - & 00:40:039 (1,2,3,4,5) - where you deviate from previously established rhythm while not representing different layers accurately.
For me it seems your intention is to include violin representation for this section so below are some suggestions to allign with that.
00:37:467 (1,2,3) - If you want to represent the addition to the violin try something like https://i.imgur.com/CfHH2Ip.png
00:40:896 (2) - If you want to continue violin emphasis here, a 1/2 slider starting on 00:41:181 - would be more accurate and intuitive.
00:41:753 (3,4,5) - 00:42:896 (5) - could be moved either to the blue tick for drum emphasis or become a 1/2 slider to include violin emphasis for 00:43:181 -
00:44:324 (3) - could be a 1/2 with 1 reverse since the music is similar in concept to 00:41:753 (3) -
These suggestions should help with following the violin more without creating too dense rhythms.
If you don't want to prioritize violins and instead keep focus on drums I would suggest you change the rhythm for 00:37:467 (1,2,3) - & 00:40:039 (1,2,3,4,5) - to be more consistent with what you introduced earlier at 00:30:610 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,4,5,6) - .
I want to prioritize the drums here.
I think it can be a bit slider-heavy now, but the 1/1 gaps should allow "normal players" to reset, so it should not be to big of a problem (considering its a sub 20sec section)
if you don't agree with the way i have done this feel free to reopen, and i'll take another look at it.
01:22:036 - 01:35:751 - This part could follow vocals better imo which is your main focus through the entire map.
Here are a few suggestions :
-> 01:13:037 (4) - Remove the reverse since 01:13:322 - doesn't have any sound on it. Also would follow vocals better this way and reduce density a bit since that part is really calm
-> 01:16:037 (3,4) - Would make 3 a 1/1 slider and remove 4 for the vocals since its your main focus, which you also keysound
-> 01:26:894 (5) - Maybe you can move it here 01:26:751 - instead for the vocals since its your main focus ? Would also reduce the difficulty of that entire pattern 01:26:895 (5,6,7,8,9,10) -
-> 01:28:322 (10) - You could remove the reverse on it, make a circle here 01:28:322 - and move 10 01:28:608 - here instead to follow vocals better
#4814793 this applies in these sections of the map -
00:51:180 (1) - to 01:04:323 (8) - (this one's mostly fine. Posted 1 thing)
01:08:323 (1) - to 01:14:323 (7) -
01:25:180 (1) - to 01:35:465 (6) -
01:40:895 (1) - to 01:48:609 (3) -
02:04:895 (1) - to 02:18:037 (5) -
I will make separate posts in the timeline for a few more suggestions on how you can adjust these sections. Where I don't just follow the same train of thought as #4814793 - try to skip mapping (either actively or passively) sounds that aren't that important. As it's a normal difficulty, it's OK to skip a snare or some drum here and there
as another example, to me just completely deleting something like 02:08:609 (2) - sounds completely fine. These are background noises that don't really have to be mapped. Although this isn't the only way to reduce object chain length here
I worded this initial mod from a wrong angle - in those parts, if you look at them as they are without comparing them to anything else, density isn't really completely off for a normal difficulty. But as those are calmer parts, keeping same density as choruses doesn't work as well
