00:08:378 - could map this for the snare (if the concern is that it makes a 6-plet, i would delete 00:09:578 (13) to fix that, otherwise i think a 6-plet on low bpm is fine)

same with 00:11:578

00:11:178 (16) - move this 1/1 back like 00:07:578?

Alternatively, I think both 00:07:178 - & 00:10:378 - could use a 3/2 rhythm instead of using a 1/1 rhythm, since according to 00:11:978 - , the lower synth is what being followed, instead of the higher synth. 00:08:778 - could then be used to emphasize the addition instead.

00:12:278 (18) - i would delete this since this a bit complex for a kantan. also why isnt 00:11:978 (17) a finisher? its the same as 00:12:578

delete 00:19:378 (32) for similar reason too. (same thing about the finisher with 00:19:078 (31)

I definitely agree with the finisher part, but the pattern itself is pretty much BPM200 1/1, which is not that far off from BPM180 1/1 (what the RC uses), so I personally wouldn't worry that much.

I'd personally delete 00:18:778 - instead, since it would make the gap from 00:18:378 - the same as 00:13:578 - & 00:15:178 - , and would indicate a clear separation from normal notes with the finisher notes

00:21:878 (35) - is this a mis-snap? no clue why its 1/4 here when the melody is on the white tick

permalink

00:25:978 (42,43) - i would actually make the first note a regular one and the second a finisher instead. the 2nd note is more impactful that way

same with 01:04:378 (113,114)

permalink

00:25:978 - & 00:26:378 - for the first
01:04:378 - & 01:04:778 - for the second
Seems like the note amount is different in your posts, so I'll put the timestamp of each note just to be sure.

00:28:578 - note for consistency with 00:31:778?

permalink

00:33:178 - I'd delete this note to be consistent with the 3/1 break gap at 00:26:778 - .

permalink

00:38:178 (63,64) - do you want to finisher these or no? these work perfectly as finishers

permalink

00:38:778 - I don't think this one needs a finisher, as it doesn't have a cymbal or finish sound associated, unlike 00:37:578 - & 00:39:178 - . I do agree with making 00:38:178 - finisher though.

permalink

00:41:778 - I think this note was snapped incorrectly, using a 1/1 rhythm instead of following the 3/2 + 3/2 + 1/1 structure that the next notes have. I'd move it to 00:41:978 - to fit the structure.

permalink

00:46:178 - I'd probably delete this note to be consistent with the break use at 00:39:778 - , since it comes after a finish note just like 00:39:178 - .

permalink

This change could make 00:50:378 - seem more reasonable due to having a shorter time since its last rest moment.

permalink

00:50:678 (86) - same thing i said earlier about this being complex. (could finisher 00:50:378 (85) as well)

permalink

00:57:378 (99) - move this 1/4 forward, its mis-snapped. would also delete 00:57:778 (100) to simplify the rhythm

i would also delete 00:58:378 (102) so the melody stays prioritized, not as problematic as the first point tho

permalink

I'd like to add that, since those three k's are following the same cymbal sound, I'd recommend removing the finish note from the first note, that way it can emphasize the differeny cymbal sound at 00:58:778 - , the latter of which should keep its finisher.

permalink

01:00:578 - I suggest moving this note to 01:00:778 - .
Right now it follows a weak part of the synth, and doing this change would move the note to a stronger sound that wouldn't require support from other notes.

01:03:778 (112) - finisher for cymbal?

permalink

01:04:778 - Could turn this note to d, to be consistent with 01:11:178 -

permalink

01:15:778 - its alright as it is but i would rather it be moved 1/2 forward since it would be nice if 01:15:978 was hitable
