00:00:895 (895|0,1217|0,1540|0) - hmm I feel like the same idea could apply to this diff, I think the negative space removing those notes creates makes the guitar have more impact when playing

mhh im not really sure about this mod, i agree with keeping the notes because they can be interpretated as the interruption of the vibration of the guitar stopped by the hand (ideally there's not a strong sound but the suddendly tune contrast suggest the forced discontinuation of the melody)

btw, rather see what naive think about it since both mine and his diff have this suggestion and he's the owner of the set

I recommend avoiding these jacks: 00:05:626 (5626|1,5733|1) - , 00:10:787 (10787|1,10895|1) - , 00:31:432 (31432|2,31540|2) - , and later jacks like it in the map

using 00:05:411 - as an example

"no" is strongest at 00:05:411 - , but 00:05:572 (5572|0,5626|1,5733|0,5733|1) - makes it feel like 00:05:572 - to 00:05:733 - is covering a stronger part of the word than 00:05:411 - ....when it's about as intense as it was before (maybe slightly less intense)

basically, jacks like these are pretty powerful tool to bring out stuff in the music but I feel like they're only a result of adding in that double at 00:05:733 (5733|1,5733|0) - for the snare

I'll tl;dr a point I made in #4542888 a bit

percussion consistency is great to follow, but not at the cost of flow imo especially for vocal dumps like this. I'd say it's better to sacrifice percussion consistency to avoid patterns like 00:05:626 (5626|1,5733|1) - than (if you can avoid those doubles consistently if that makes sense like only avoiding them at spots like that, 00:10:895 (10895|1,10895|0) - , etc) I think you should either make doubles like 00:05:733 (5733|1,5733|0) - single notes or change your layering a bit so jacks like 00:05:626 (5626|1,5733|1) - are avoided

sound reasonable, i dont really remember if i did something more stairy due to compensate the thrill behind it 00:07:293 (7293|1,7346|0,7400|1,7454|0) -, might a double glance would be better or i think it'll be too trilly the transition.

I think this would work really well in an extra diff but I feel like the 4 note trill's a biiiiiit too brutal for this diff. maybe 00:07:293 (7293|1) - could move to another column?

yay that's totally fair, thought 2 variances of that current pattern:

used anchors rules to balance back the movement both hands

otherwise, i can give up some strength by making it more rolly

your choice, im okay with both honestly

gotcha! I'd go with the first one tbh, the 4 note trill was my main issue since it puts a lot of strain on the left hand in a short amount of time

(going to play jubeat today with friends so I won't actually have time to go through everything else in the set until tomorrow)

00:15:088 (15088|0,15149|1,15249|0,15330|1,15411|0) - definitely should be broken apart since (using the word "silence") it starts in the middle of "si" and goes until the end of "lence". I think it would be much better if "si" and "lence" were completely separated

might be a crazy representation but i think i did that straight even at 01:37:669 - for the bridge guitar underneath without considering at all the voice.

but in case i moved out 00:15:330 - from col2 to col4 in order to break apart a little bit the trill on the left and in the while keeping the guitar structure.

ideally this was made in order to follow and give priority to all three drums there 00:15:088 (15088|0,15088|2,15249|0,15249|2,15411|2,15411|0) - .

if i'd change the position of that note i'll lose a bit of power at the clap sounds which is kinda powerfull compared to the fade out voice. Also it'd help the finisher a bit 00:15:733 - as a transitional pattern soo yeah.

i'll keep this suggestion open for now but if this creates problems i'll change that!

00:31:540 - just wanted to mention that this uses 1/6 notes while 00:05:733 - uses 1/4s. I'm pretty sure these should be consistent with each other since these sections are about as intense as each other in the music

00:34:927 (34927|1,34981|0,35034|1,35088|0) - and 00:35:572 (35572|2,35626|3,35680|2,35733|3) - I think these should be split between hands . a 4 note 1/6 OH trill is going to be pretty tricky to hit for players at this level (I'm kind of debating whether the 3 note OH trills are ok since they're still going to be tough to hit at 186 bpm) and splitting them between hands will make sure that 00:34:927 (34927|1,34981|0,35034|1,35088|0,35249|2,35303|1,35357|2,35411|1,35572|2,35626|3,35680|2,35733|3) - are about as difficult as each other to hit since 00:35:249 (35249|2,35303|1,35357|2,35411|1) - is noticeably easier than the other 2

okay I kind of imagined predicted this i knew they were a little bit spiky, i did that because the top diff used a really tedious anchor on col3.

to fix that i made 00:34:927 - / 00:35:572 - semi roll stairs connecting with the 4 note middle trill.

I have a minor suggestion but it's not a big deal if you'd prefer to keep things as is

I think it has a couple of benefits!

  1. 00:34:336 (34336|1,34389|0,34443|1) - I LOVE how this is represented and it'll help this and the "blah"s stand out from each other

  2. it'll make the "blah"s a biiiit more approachable since they won't have these psuedo anchors on 2 and 3. I'm guessing those were intentional, but I feel like avoiding them will make these fast trills more approachable for insane level players

ah actually, I think it might be a good idea to make this section a bit less heavy on the outer columns in general otherwise it might be pretty straining (and it would be a good idea since it separated out these phrases in the music too)

so I'm thinking maybe 00:46:862 - this part can stay the same
00:49:443 - this section can use 2-1-2-1-2 and 3-4-3-4-3
00:52:346 - can stay the same
and they can alternate like that if that works for you? 00:57:024 - to the end of the section alternates between inner and outer columns pretty well though

I think the concept's good, but I'm kind of worried about 01:30:249 (90249|1,90411|1,90491|1,90733|1,90895|1,91056|1,91217|1) - after playtesting. I feel like the jacks add a lot more strain on 2 since it sort of puts them in a anchor-y pattern

moving 01:30:895 (90895|1) - 's a pretty easy way to fix it though! that way you don't need to change the graces or jacks and it breaks up the anchor
