00:34:963 (180,181,182) - I cannot understand the kkk triplet here. It doesn't emphasize the music well imo and doesn't highlight anything?
I agree that it feels a bit weakly supported. I think the intent here is to make the rhythm a bit more interesting than just constant 1/2 - which isn't a bad idea at all.
But I think this could be improved by moving 00:35:054 to 00:34:871, where I think the strained vocal supports this pattern better.
Then could recolor this area a bit. Maybe something like this (cursor at 00:34:780):
I think the ending feels a bit weird on Oni and Inner, since the song suddenly shifts to piano but there isn't much in the map to really represent that shift.
02:03:316 : Maybe remove this note to create a gap after the drum part
02:03:499 : Give this note like 25%
HS volume or something - it just doesn't feel right at the same volume as everything else imo. Remember to offset the green line early to make sure this one is applied
Yeah the mapping looks good now, but for the green lines, just make 02:03:316 - and everything after it 25%.
Since the way playing osu taiko works, is that the hit sound change is in-effect only starting at the exact moment of the green line. So since you've put the HS change directly at the same time as the note, then it wont be applied if the player hits the note even 1ms early.
actually sorry to reopen - one more thing >.<
I guess its a bit odd to have the 25% volume change only in the upper diffs, so maybe could you either also apply the volume part to lower diffs?
Or could just get rid of the 25% volume change that i suggested since there aren't really other volume changes in the set anyway, id be fine with that too tbh after looking at this some more.
