00:03:597 (10,11) - im on 25% speed and I cant hear what beats these are supposed to represent, probably missnapped?

permalink

Indeed missnapped. It changed when I corrected the BPM. Fixed on all difficulties.

could probably buff 00:14:915 -> 00:20:104 - with some extra 1/2 since it's about the same as other kiais, so having the density lower iand like non-kiais is kind of odd

permalink

it may seem off having the harder part of the map first but it helps the player know what they're getting into

permalink

Buffed.

although its a slight improvement i still think more contrast would be nice, what's your opinion on mapping 00:15:401 & 00:17:996 - for this?

permalink
Reopened by meiqth

Sure, added k at both spots.

I think you could ctrl+g 00:22:050 to have some more variaty (or make it a kdk or kkd or something like that since that would also fit). Right now you have ddk ddk which can be a bit boring.

permalink

00:23:996 - dkd here to avoid kkd kkd and also put emphasis on the low pitched piano

permalink

also for your information: don't change the ddk ddk at 00:41:833 since it's a repeating vocal so in that case it's okay in my opinion!

permalink

Applied.

subjective but 00:30:806 (87,88,89,90,91,92) - might be nice having a different coloring given the k k kkk d beforehand was on a different drum

permalink

Changed to k d kkk d.

i'd change 00:31:779 to a k because its better playable in my opinion, its not needed tho

permalink

I ended up changing the previous note 00:31:617 (111) to a k instead since that also sounds better with the song and still makes the pattern more playable.

I highly recommend you move the start of the triplet 00:34:860 -> 00:35:023 and start from there. Not only does this sound better in my opinion, it also creates 3 consecutive rest moments that are 1/1 there so you have a valid break there. Right now your muzukashii lacks breaks. You should do this for all triplets like that in this section to make it rankable.

permalink

also delete notes like 00:37:131, they're not 100% necessary and also hinder your 3 consecutive breaks

permalink

Discussed this in PMs and ironed out similar issues on the entire difficulty.

00:39:644 (132) - there's two 1/2 kicks here opposed to the normal 1/4 drum you map triplets over so u should remove this

permalink

Removed.

move 00:40:698 to 00:40:860 and make it a normal d because it fits better in the flow and sounds better, there is a dense sound at 00:40:860 and you dont really hear the sound at 00:40:698... but you hear the sound at 00:40:860 very clearly

soo like in the beginning of the first kiai you used very often a ddd in a row which is in my opinion kinda boring to play because ddd and kkk are the only patterns/monos you use in the entire map, so maybe you could do it like this

make 00:49:293 , 00:49:374 , 00:49:455 a k
make 00:49:617 a d

this is just a suggestion but i'd recommend it!

permalink

From my understanding of the RC it would technically be possible to do this but should be done very carefully (and only in sections with low intensity). I think I'll keep it like it is just to be sure.

I suggest you delete the triplet at 00:49:293 but keep the note at 00:49:293 to create a valid break while also giving the player time to prepare for the 3/4 snappings.

permalink

delete 00:54:320 aswell for the same reason

permalink

also, i highly recommend you place a note at 00:49:779 to keep it consistent and you're also allowed to do it since it doesn't get in the way of your 3 consecutive breaks!

permalink

Done.

Perhaps you could make 00:54:482 a k so it isn't d only for 7 notes straight and it also fits this sound better in my opinion.

permalink

00:59:023 - could be d to be consistent with that part aswell ^^

permalink

Applied both.

the part at 00:55:131 - 00:55:455 isnt on the beat, it seems pretty weird for me, maybe you could try to find a better way! i dont have any ideas tho... this part is kinda weird

permalink

I've remapped the section a bit and replaced the two other times in the song where it was used.

I think a kdd would fit better on 01:12:969 to put more emphasis on the second vocal sound being lower pitched than the first one.

permalink

Sure.
