A lot of inconsistencies in the Hard diff with the hitsounds. Mainly, there is a lot of SB hitsounds that shouldn't be here at all:

00:28:565
00:28:787
00:29:009
00:29:232
00:45:009
01:30:121
01:30:232
01:30:343
01:30:454
01:30:565
01:30:676
02:29:454
02:29:676
02:29:898
02:30:121
02:59:676
02:59:898
03:00:121
03:00:343

Press Tab key and remove these.

after copying over the new hitsounds, they're all on empty spaces now
should the current existing ones stay or all be removed?

permalink

the ones i pointed out as an issue were hitsounds that didn't exist in all the other diffs (even the HS diff) and didn't follow any sound. These ones are fine since it's accompanied by a note and following a sound, so I will resolve!

Hard HS inconsistencies #2:

02:52:232 - Missing a C hitsound

02:30:232 (150232|0,150343|2,150398|1,150454|3,150565|1,150621|0) - Missing Snare hitsound?

fixed

00:31:232 -> 00:36:565 - currently you have snapped the synths on the white tick when if you slow it down, it actually starts on the next blue tick instead. Also, every other diff has it snapped like this so why not just snap it on the blue line?

good call!
i will move the notes back 1/4th - solved.

from 00:45:454 - to 00:57:009 - i highly suggest to continue to continue to map the vocals, it felt really weird to not hit the vocal after the roll 00:45:454 -

permalink

i felt like the pattern would become too dense for a break section if i add vocals on top of the jacks.
need a third opinion on this one.

permalink

For the difficulty this diff tries to archieve I think there is no real need to map those vocals because they would make the part significantly harder together with the drum-jacks.

permalink

thanks for the feedback @Leinadix - part remains untouched, marked as solved.

02:30:676 (150676|3,150787|0) - if you mapped those you can't ignore the rest of this synth lol

02:30:509 - 02:30:954 - 02:31:121 - 02:31:232 -

permalink

forgot this 02:31:398 - and maybe you could add 02:31:509 - this snare too

permalink

those were actually meant to be vocals :O

this sections is supposed to be a mini-break before the final section.
i really don't want to make it any denser, given what follows.

permalink

I would agree with Harbyter on focusing on the snyth and not the vocals. The notes play as if they are meant to represent the synth and not the vocals and therefore the other synth sounds should also be represented.

permalink

alright, i am convinced.
remapped to represent the synth instead of the vocalist... hope it plays alright.

02:53:009 - i think you should stick up with the 1/2 doubles like you did with the previous pattern of the song

permalink

oh god, i was caught copy-pasting ;-;

fixed, marked as resolved.

02:28:565 - same suggestion of the previous similar patterns

01:29:121 - 01:29:343 - 01:29:565 - 01:29:787 - imo it doesn't hurt adding another note for those snare

my personal note on this:

i am trying to squeeze as much difficult out of minimal density, and the way i see it, densifiying the "mini-jacks" to jumpjacks would hardly increase difficulty.
being able to shift the single note in a 2-1 pattern also allows more variation.

unless someone else hardly disagrees on this, i am going to keep this pattern untouched.
marking this and all related mods as resolved.
