It is all part of the Shige lore. I think he is a diehard Porsche fan, due to this speculation I believe most of his top scores are calculated by him to represent and pay tribute to famous Porsche vehicles, the 998's personality that trickles down their modern cars, the classic 994, the last of naturally aspirated boxer being the 982, 939 which gives us a glimpse into the future. And It doesn't stop there, we still have the out of the ordinary 928, absolutely beautiful but fierce 906, an unfortunate 902 we never got, and Freedom Dive pre rework, which was 919, the play perfectly in sync with the untouchable status of the 919 Evo around the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife, a record that has been unreachable ever since it came into existence.
Ig it seems to be kinda obvious to anyone for today that Shige as an overall HD player is by FAR more well-rounded, faster, and basically more capable in terms of setting scores, which can't be replicated by any other player. The problem is his consistency, which he's lost back then in 2017. If the consistency problem could be solved, there would be completely no competition for him in any possible skill set.
