00:12:371 (12,13,14,15,16,17,18) - and 00:13:871 (18,19,20,21,22,23,24):
its a bit awkward imo, you seem to change focus from drum to melody, i would suggest only focusing on one

for drum: i would do d k ddkdd
for melody: k d dkkdd maybe because 00:14:808 - (2nd note from 5note pattern) is actually the higher melody pitch

if you agree but want to switch between those two, maybe something like 00:12:371 - d k ddkdk d dkkdd k if you know what i mean

well, nice catch there, but you misunderstand what i follow here. the note is following the melody than drum. So keep it. (although I made a change on it).

00:25:964 - i think you can remove this for consistency with 00:10:964 - , or alternatively adding note at 00:10:964 - for drumroll is also work, but up to you

00:32:808 - The pause feels a little awkward, maybe add a ddk (or dkk) there to follow the rhythm?

permalink

well I need it for break and my intention here is vocal, so the drum can be ignored

00:39:558 - 00:45:558 - would remove to give finisher more emphasis, also this pattern style feels more dense than any other part

00:40:214 - prob could move to 00:40:027 - then change to d to follow the vocals more closely like you did in the rest of section?

00:48:746 (183,184,185,186,187) - you can change it to kdkkd to emphasis 00:49:121 - and 00:49:871 - high vocals

well then

00:54:558 - how about move to 00:54:183 - then change to k to follow the chiptune melody instead?

00:56:339 - i think sounds better to move this to 00:56:152 - instead for the drums, note could be changed to d afterwards

00:56:996 - emphasizing the drums/cymbals with finisher feels off when 00:56:808 - this drum is omitted, besides 00:59:996 - is also not finished, would just remove finisher on the Ds

same for muzu

00:57:371 - consider changing this to K instead to highlight the vocal?

00:59:433 (247,248,249) - i think kdd or kkd or dkd work better because down going vocals and emphasing 00:59:808 (250,251) -

01:23:621 - ending this 5plet with d would highlight the next 2 snares bit better

01:25:402 - OR 01:25:589 - these vocals are pretty strong and its like the climax of kiai, i think you can buff these to a triplet and adjust colours a bit iyw

permalink

Keep, to highlight the drum progression

01:26:246 (411,412,413,414,415) - you'd better change colors only at first or last at 1/4 patterns which have more than 3 notes, I suggest delete 412th note to make d kkd

permalink

Ok, way more suitable.
