Edit: Is it possible for you to change the storyboard to say Storyboard by Daerren, and Guest Difficulty by Daerren, preferably making it into 2 separate images? It would feel more natural.
And the SB is pretty cool, nothing wrong with the dif.

Most of the new combos were addressed. I opted to make the new combos at some other points for a few that you mentioned, but the overlying problems in general were fixed. And for Hard+, I think I'll keep the small breaks.

Not too fond of how it's alot shorter than the other difficulties.
00:34:297 (2) - Too many rebounds. Map this differently.
00:59:232 (6) - What I suggest to this, is maybe you can seperate these into different rebound sliders when the scratching changes.

[Hard+]
Everything looks fine too but when the "Danger!" popped up at 2:00, I thought I am going to face tough beats. I was disappointed and a bit off with the "false" information. The difficulty hasn't change that much. I've noticed this warning was for the Insane difficulty. Either create something harder for that part or remove the storyboard. You don't want giving false information.

Combo's over 10 are fine. I'm estimating that they're averaging every 14 beats in Hard+. There is a trend if you look hard enough to where they start and end, so I'll leave it as that unless a MAT or BAT says otherwise.
I'll keep the spinner where it is in Hard+, as it's aligned to where the singer says "oh".
I did check the combos again, made a few fixes, but I'm happy with what I have them as.

I don't have much to say about Hard+. If any, it's fine the way it is, maybe a suggestion to lower the OD by 1 since it's got complicated patterns that require hard reading.

Daerrens Insane - For the map in general, just space the notes a bit more, 1 grid etc.
- 01:28:453(1-12) - Looks too crammed. Try curving the circle pattern on the right to make it look less confusing.

I'll take a look at them again and edit this post soon, when I'm not feeling drowsy :/

Interesting song, fitting map. It's not the usual Touhou stuff I see around here, have a star.

Thanks for the mod. Again, I think the combos are fine. I know they're longer than usual, but that's because I styled them with the hitsounds. I know what you're saying though.

He said your combos shouldn't go over 10 because of the skin. The roman numerals make *no sense* after 10. You get weird crap like 2-3-4 (incorrectly written) - 3 - 4 (correctly written). It's really confusing to read.

Also, the difficulties end at different places. Bad boy.

Normal:

This is boring. Really boring. You mapped to the beat for a minute and a half with no variation. It's boring as heck. It's a Normal, not an Easy, you can put some 1/2s in (usually groups of 2 or 3 where it fits).

You might as well finish this all the way, same with Hard. Then rename this to Easy. Then make it more entertaining. Then make a Normal, again mapped all the way, that has some 1/2s in it since Hard has a TON of 1/4s.

Hard:

Map until the end, where it ends now is really weird. Kinda repetitive though, but you chose a repetitive song.

Insane:

See Hard.

I addressed the Roman numeral problem. I'll add more beats to normal, but I think I'll keep it at said time, maybe add 30 seconds. I think it ends well there, but I'll take a look at it again. Thanks for the mod.

I will leave the difficulty lengths as they are. Maybe I'll extend Normal, but each difficulty is like that for a reason.
Hard+ is Hard+ for a reason. It has no jumps or deathstreams, there's no reason for it to be Insane.

  2. Delete the .osb.
  3. The skip image seems to be a tad too big. At least it looks too big, not sure about the templateskin's skip dimensions...
  4. Some storyboard elements are too big. You'd be better off resizing these files:
    1. GD.png
    2. SB.png
    3. Song info..png
  5. Add an spinner-approachcircle.png.
  6. Offset 0 works fine for me.
  7. Maybe you should consider adding the epilepsy warning.

About the offset, I feel that it is just right. In fact, I borrowed it from another already ranked map, which is the same song without the lyrics. It is currently not bothering me, and it hasn't bothered anyone else so far. I will keep this the same.

The Danger is just to indicate some sort of dramatic change in the song. Though it was made specifically for Daerren's difficulty, I thought it felt right to keep it in my difficulties as well. Also, your rank is kind of high up there, naturally, they aren't challenging to you, but the Danger kind of gives it a Touhou-ish feel, if you catch my drift.

The differences between our difficulties are intentional. I think peppy stated something along the lines of the map was meant to be played as the mapper wanted it to be. Thus, we ended it in different times, since we thought it would be better off in our own eyes.

The countdown will be removed from Daerren's difficulty, since it doesn't really matter.

After all changes are made, I will re-pm you, as per your sig.

Hm, I can get someone to recheck. It doesn't really bother me either since it's a rather small offset change, but I still want to be sure.
