Nice tips, but little solutions.IDK really what the offset is and there is nothing I can do about the 1/8 notes without knowing how to modify the BPM to adjust for them. Also not my fault if some notes line up in 1/4 tones either. The song doesn't follow a normal beat pattern.

Oh and the last time I resnapped all the notes, it put them all off sync and royally screwed my sliders.

Edit: A BAT is helping me get my map in order. Offset is 587

Edit 2: Changed BPM to 147.60.
Removed all the 1/8th and 1/4th notes.
Got rid of unnecessary timing sections.
Removed several beatless notes, reconfigured sliders, and altered some patterns to make them easier to hit.

As a side note, you should remove diffs that you arent going to use like "test", just go to your beatmap and right click the diff you want to remove then delete, then delete only this difficulty, or go into any diff and open song folder and just delete the diffs you arent gonna use then full submit (or standard submit idk)

I haven't reached the point yet where I've decided to give up on the rest of the mp3. If I continue the map would end almost right on 4 minutes, but if I end it, it will end around where it does now.

The notes are off timing and no, this is not because of your timings. The notes are just simply off placed. Please go through the map and think if the note actually plays on the exact timing it meant to be. Oh and go through with your distance snaps too. I can't tell if they are jumps but I can tell that those spacings certainly doesn't flow

The note sounds more like 1/3 rather then 1/4

Actually, please don't spam notes in [Normal]. This is your easiest diff. Keep it easyI tried. I spent quite a lot of time trying to think of an easier way to handle this section. there just isn't a way without destroying the flow or rhythm of the song.

The notes are off timing and no, this is not because of your timings. The notes are just simply off placed. Please go through the map and think if the note actually plays on the exact timing it meant to be. Oh and go through with your distance snaps too. I can't tell if they are jumps but I can tell that those spacings certainly doesn't flow
This will be around the third time I've done it. i'll do it after fixing insane mode.
[Insane]
The note sounds more like 1/3 rather then 1/4
00:20:229 (6) - Could be a short repeat slider
00:29:727 (4) - New combo so we can tell it has a different spacing
as I told you in irc, notes or off timing. Right now, you want to focus on fixing those notes

You can probably catch most of the errors by going through the map with half speed and distance snap on

It's just I know it's almost finished. There's a light at the end of this beatmaps tunnel. I just need patience of the people in mod and their help and support to work out all the kinks. Waiting until I am more experienced will do nothing since I'm mapping it the only way I see it could be mapped until someone tells me it can mapped a different way than the actual beat that would benefit it.

lol I can't believe I was given the basics to spacing. I get the point, but the note pattern is hard to recognize at times when there are minute spacing differences. I swear the spacing is sound in most places.

First thing's first.

Easy. You need an Easy, especially with all the 1/2s in Normal and the weird rhythm. Remember, so you can have rhythm patterns that aren't boring you should keep a standard every other beat rhythm with some every beat streams and measure-long gaps. Just dink around until you get something.

And remember, hitting a hit circle is usually much easier than hitting a hit circle, holding the note, and following the ball until the end of the slider, so don't overload your difficulty with sliders (though do have some).

Normal:

....To put it simply...

Lots of the notes you have on 1/6 ticks belong on 1/1s and 1/2s. That's why the map feels so dang weird. Then you have the occasional beauty like this:

00:23:410 (5,6,7) - 6 is a red tick, 7's a white tick. 5 synchs best on a yellow tick, however.

All you can do is go through on not 50%, but 25% and mess around with each off-sounding hit object until it synchs.

Also, spacing feels way too slow for a Normal. I would increase the velocity and remap this, going to a general rhythm instead of the lyrics for this difficulty since it would make more sense for a Normal. And if you do this, do make an Easy. You really need one on such a weird song.

Hard:

See Normal, except there's one part where the difficulty spikes up drastically that made me cry. Yeah, watch out for things like that.

Your post says you're working on Insane, so yeah.

Keep up the good work! I know how much of a pain it can be to do songs like this but it's worth it. You can do it, you just need to spend the time going through every difficulty and synching up the notes.

And again, use 25% in this case because 50% just isn't slow enough for this song. :P Though only use 1/8 if you're absolutely positively sure that is what it's on. If it is, though, then use it.

Whoa, just came to check how everything was going on here and man, you really have some text walls on mods. The map seems to have improved though, so I'll star, but I insist, It will be a hard song to map <_<"

Timing mod (Offset sliding. Fun.)
- The section at 14667 Needs to be at 152 BPM
- New section at 24140ms. BPM 157.
- New section at 48510ms. BPM 153.
- Move the timing section at 52685 to 52509. Resnap the notes in this timing section.
- Move the Timing section at 55849 to 55832. Resnap the notes in this section.
- New timing section at 65992. Resnap all notes in this new section.
- New timing section at 72104. BPM 158.

There needs to be quite a bit of work done on the placement of notes, especially in Normal. Contact me once you think it's all fixed and I'll go in for a more detailed mod.

If you want to get a Katamari song ranked, why don't you try another one?
