[general]
  1. timing is really off on the intro part where you didn't mapped , better start the red timing here 00:24:081 -
  2. o and maybe offset +4 would be better imo
[easy]
  1. 00:48:831 (2) - use the same shape as 00:48:081 (1) - ? cus the song instrument doesn't sound so much different
  2. 00:57:831 (2,3) - feel a bit unnatural for beginner to switch rhythm suddenly like this , it's fine to skip the red tick and follow white instead for constant rhythm
  3. 00:55:206 - no clap ?
[normal]
  1. 00:26:143 (5) - the 1/2 sldier just somehow sound weird for me , try this rhythm instead would make thing more flowy
  2. 00:31:956 (5,6,7) - same as above
[advance]
  1. 01:17:331 (3,1) - intentional 1.37x spacing ? make spacing consistent with others?
  2. 00:48:081 (1,2) - stack here is a bit confusing for the player imo they might misread it as 1/2 so try not to stack them ?
  3. 01:22:956 - feel weird to skip this only snare when you map it all the time in this diff , should map this snare to make thing a bit more consistent so it play better a bit
[mk]
  1. 00:37:206 (5,6) - the stack kinda make the rhythm here a bit hard to follow since the intensity of the beat there is different but with the stack it will make player confuse how to play or flow them imo so would be better if it was spaced instead of stack
  2. 00:30:081 - not sure why you stop making some jumps like the first part now 00:24:081 - but with it being inconsistent like this it just make structure looks a bit mess so would be better to try to be more consistent on when to use jumps and use them consistently across the rhythm
  3. 00:43:206 (5,6) - same as 00:37:206 (5,6) -
  4. 00:59:143 (1,2) - can give angle to emphasis the change in instrument at (2) , try move (2) down a bit x76 y260 ( fix the next notes spacing too if you fix this)
  5. 01:00:081 (1,2,3) - why is this low spacing , i feel like the rhythm is pretty intense here so it would better to use 1.2x spacing like usual instead
  6. 01:03:456 (3,4,5) - same
  7. 01:04:768 (1,2) - circle jumps like this would be too much for hard diff , it just feel forced imo , lower spacing to make them play more natural for the hard player would be nice
  8. 01:06:456 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - feel weird for me to use only circle here when previously u use this rhythm 01:00:081 (1,2,3,4) - 01:03:456 (3,4,5) - so try to make them a bit consistent ? the rhythm feel really similiar so it make sense to use the same or similiar rhythm
  9. 01:17:706 (6,7) - jumps should be here instead of 01:17:893 (7,1) - tbh the cymbal just feel more impact than the pitch
  10. 01:23:143 (1,2) - jumps play a bit awkward here imo (2) doesn't feel like it need to jumps much so i think lower spacing would be better

i find this diff need a bit improvement on jumps and spacing consistency
[kalibe]
  1. 00:25:018 (4) - the only slider that end on snare in this part ; should make change the rhythm a bit to make it more consistent imo , try this rhythm
  2. 00:29:143 (2) - placing this at between slider head and end of 00:29:706 (4) - would make the pattern here looks more aesthetic lol imo
  3. 00:44:331 (4,5) - why not 5 notes stream now ? kinda unexpected here tbh , i think 5 notes stream would just make it flow better
  4. 01:02:706 (3,4) - why spacing different when the beat is still sound the same ? you can move (4) to around x252 y284 to make spacing fit the beat here a bit
  5. 01:06:456 (1,2,1,2) - feel really random and not like the previous 01:00:456 (1,2,1,2) - 01:03:456 (1,2,1,2) - the way you make the pattern 01:06:456 (1,2,1,2) - here is making the nc unnecesary cus it wasn't feeling unique or anything imo just a common pattern and flow here so maybe if you can change the pattern here a bit that would make thing looks better
  6. 01:08:893 (4,1) - low spacing on emphasized 1 , so maybe move 1 to around x228 y92 to make the spacing feel more impact
  7. 01:12:081 (1,2,1,2) - feel random and not aesthetic lol it just triggered me , try this ?
[fcl]
  1. 00:32:706 (6,7) - why big spacing here but 00:29:706 (5,6) - low spacing , would be better to make them a bit more consistent
  2. 01:02:331 (2,3,4,5) - why the suddenly low spacing and monotone flow here it pretty much kill the intense of the beat that you create previously imo and make thing play awkward imo , try to use some angle and flow
  3. 01:08:893 (5,1) - 1 sound emphasized but low spacing , better use higher spacing for better impact , move 1 to x316 y128
  4. 01:10:768 (2,1) - same ^^^^ spacing should be higher to emphasis 1 better
  5. 01:20:331 (1,2,3,4) - same as 01:02:331 (2,3,4,5) -

don't like how the kiai play here , my cursor movement feeling so stiff and not flowy or natural at all cus maybe the pattern just appear to be random at some point and make me uncomfortable to play it but that just me but yea my opinionnnnnnz

    [relation]
    • wtf cs2
    1. 00:33:644 (1) - doesn't feel like it really nedd nc here imo the instrument doesn't change here at all
    2. 00:39:081 (1) - feel a bit inconsistent with 00:36:081 (1,2) - and somehow make it play awkward imo , better make the rhythm same so that it would play more consistent
    3. 00:53:143 (2) - ctrl+g for better flow 00:52:581 (1,2,3,4,5) - ?
    4. 00:54:831 (3,4) - feel a bit forced here now imo , the intense of instrument kinda change there so it would be weird to still using the same spacing imo , try move 4 to around x396 y258 ?
    5. 01:19:581 (1) - ctrl+g to make flow more consistent with 01:18:456 (1,1) - ?
good luck :)

  2. 00:57:831 (2,3) - feel a bit unnatural for beginner to switch rhythm suddenly like this , it's fine to skip the red tick and follow white instead for constant rhythm i find that rhythm sounds extremely bad so i changed the 1/2 slider to just circle instead
  3. 00:55:206 - no clap ? fix

  1. 00:26:143 (5) - the 1/2 sldier just somehow sound weird for me , try this rhythm instead would make thing more flowy but that doesnt fit with the song as much as this imo -_

  1. 00:33:644 (1) - doesn't feel like it really nedd nc here imo the instrument doesn't change here at all make it constant with 00:25:585 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - also its part of the patterning lol
  2. 00:39:081 (1) - feel a bit inconsistent with 00:36:081 (1,2) - and somehow make it play awkward imo , better make the rhythm same so that it would play more consistent no actually the first circle of the triple there is stronger than the other 3 in the verse so i make it the only clickable one, thats the only one that has clap on as you can see
  3. 00:53:143 (2) - ctrl+g for better flow 00:52:581 (1,2,3,4,5) - ? intentional to make the square instrument on next part has same ds
  4. 00:54:831 (3,4) - feel a bit forced here now imo , the intense of instrument kinda change there so it would be weird to still using the same spacing imo , try move 4 to around x396 y258 ? yes
  5. 01:19:581 (1) - ctrl+g to make flow more consistent with 01:18:456 (1,1) - ? fine
good luck :)

[Easy]
  1. 01:18:835 (2,4) - why not copy paste , the would look way better imo
  2. 01:19:960 (4) - also dont really like how the louder vocal and beat is on reverse 01:20:335 -
[Normal]
  1. 01:15:460 (2,3) - DS
[Advanced]
  1. 01:22:772 (2) - shouldnt be a repeat tbh cuz i would rather make the vocal 01:23:147 - clickable
[Hard]
  1. 00:46:210 - why is this skipped while 00:43:210 - 00:40:210 - 00:37:210 - are mapped?
[Insane]
  1. 01:14:710 (2,3) - ctrl g plays better imo
[Another]
  1. 00:29:710 (5,6,1) - Dont really like this flow but w/e
[Relation]
  1. 00:36:085 (1) - 00:39:085 (1) - what is consistency

Heya~ M4M here.

Mk’s Hard:
  1. Uncheck widescreen support. No SB.
  2. OD is a bit too high for a Hard imo. Even lowering it just to 6 would be better.
  3. 00:28:585 –Quite important beat here that you missed. Perhaps try a pattern like this instead:
  4. 00:34:397 (1) -^
  5. 00:36:085 (1,2) –Increase the distance between these two objects a bit. Right now they feel rather close and can do with a bit more spacing. This spacing is correct for example: 00:39:085 (1,2) -
  6. 00:39:085 (1) –Hmm, not a nice shape. Looks like the old mapping style. Rather make it a normal curved slider or try something different like:
  7. 00:46:210 – and 00:46:585 – Would be better to place notes on these important beats since they feel empty and may cause confusion with 00:46:022 (5,6) – For an Insane this might still be alright, but not for a Hard.
  8. 00:49:210 (4) –The placement of this slider makes flow a bit weird. Perhaps try something like this instead:
  9. 00:57:835 (4) –Flow from 00:57:085 (1) – can be improved by Ctrl+J and then Ctrl+H and then Ctrl+G this slider: 00:57:835 (4) –
  10. 00:59:147 (1) –Rather remove new combo here. It feels a bit out of place. Also, this jump: 00:59:147 (1) – feels rather big and the music doesn’t support a big jump like this.
  11. 01:23:710 (2) –Change this slider into two hitcircles so this important beat: 01:23:897 – is clickable.

Advanced:
  1. 00:27:085 (1) –Rather unstack this. This caught my attention and threw me a bit off guard as well while in the editor.
  2. 00:28:022 (4) –It feels as though this important beat: 00:28:210 – really has to be clickable. Something like this perhaps:
  3. 00:33:085 (1) –Same as 00:27:085 (1) –
  4. 00:34:022 (4) –Same as 00:28:022 (4) – and in case you don’t want to change this, I feel the flow can still be improved:
    Just Ctrl+J that slider.
  5. 00:38:335 (1,1) –Perfect this stack.
  6. 00:44:335 (1,1) -^
  7. 00:50:147 (2,3) –Hmm, this overlap is bothering me. Would be better to place 00:51:460 (3) – in another way so it doesn’t overlap (2).

There are a lot of those stacks here: 00:27:085 (1) – Perhaps it will be fine to keep some, but too many causes confusion imo.

Normal:
Looks good~
Easy:
  1. 00:58:397 (3) –Doublecheck the spacing here. (3) is too close to 00:57:835 (2) –
  2. 00:43:397 (2) –This should be moved one pixel downwards for the correct spacing.
  3. 01:09:835 (2,4,1,3) –Be careful of stacking too much. Stacks like these make objects less visible which can be confusing for beginners.
  4. 01:14:710 (4) –Placing this circle here isn’t the best flow from 01:13:491 (3) – I suggest placing (4) here instead:

Good Luck~ :D

Advanced:
  1. 00:27:085 (1) –Rather unstack this. This caught my attention and threw me a bit off guard as well while in the editor. asked my 'hard diffs player' friend and he said its not unreadable so i keep
  2. 00:28:022 (4) –It feels as though this important beat: 00:28:210 – really has to be clickable. Something like this perhaps: nah cuz im mapping a single instrument layer on the whole intro verse!
  3. 00:33:085 (1) –Same as 00:27:085 (1) –
  4. 00:34:022 (4) –Same as 00:28:022 (4) – and in case you don’t want to change this, I feel the flow can still be improved: i prefer current flow xd sorry
    Just Ctrl+J that slider.
  5. 00:38:335 (1,1) –Perfect this stack. ok
  6. 00:44:335 (1,1) -^ ok
  7. 00:50:147 (2,3) –Hmm, this overlap is bothering me. Would be better to place 00:51:460 (3) – in another way so it doesn’t overlap (2). mmhm it should be fine cuz the sliderheads are still visible so it shouldnt affect readability xd

There are a lot of those stacks here: 00:27:085 (1) – Perhaps it will be fine to keep some, but too many causes confusion imo. too many makes it less confusing imo cuz now players will more likely to expect the stack usage

Normal:
Looks good~ cool
Easy:
  1. 00:58:397 (3) –Doublecheck the spacing here. (3) is too close to 00:57:835 (2) – fixe
  2. 00:43:397 (2) –This should be moved one pixel downwards for the correct spacing. fixed even tho its so nazi lol
  3. 01:09:835 (2,4,1,3) –Be careful of stacking too much. Stacks like these make objects less visible which can be confusing for beginners. actually theyre fine cuz those objects are forming triangle patterns it should be easy to follow since its not some weird shape
  4. 01:14:710 (4) –Placing this circle here isn’t the best flow from 01:13:491 (3) – I suggest placing (4) here instead: kinda fix even tho i think the part after that flows bad now lol

Good Luck~ :D

O.O

[General]
  1. fine
[Easy]
  1. 01:00:460 (2) - a large area overlapping the accuracy bar. May wanna move it up a little bit
  2. 01:03:085 (1,2) - flow here goes weird. it should at least goes like this to make flow here fluent and reasonable.
  3. 01:12:460 (2,3) - are you trying to do blanket or not? if so, fix it at 01:13:585 (3) -
[Normal]
  1. 00:49:210 - skipping clap here could be weird
[Advcanced]
  1. 01:11:336 (4) - slightly adjust this note for consistent DS
  2. 01:23:147 (2,3,4,5,1) - make a regular pentagon?
  3. mixture of 1/2 stack and 1/1 stack make this diff a bit difficult to play
[Mk's Hard]
  1. 00:25:210 (4) - why would you jump for a clap? this theory is not quite understandable. We know that claps on 2nd and 4th beats are the most common beats and they don't really make strong emphasis. So a jump here (especially in Hard) confuses me. (00:30:085 (1,2,3,4) - this is something what I expect common in Hard) This problem goes quite common in this diff so I don't really wanna continue pointing them out.
  2. 00:39:085 (1) - weird slider shape. one additional node in the middle is enough. just like 00:42:085 (1) -
  3. 00:46:022 (5,6) - would've make them even closer. a feeling similar to stack will make such pattern more readable.
[Relation]
  1. jumps here feel kinda exaggerated. Why would similar & repeating vocal fit both short sliders and cross-screen jumps? they seems not to work together really well.
  2. 00:27:085 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - move them upward. 00:27:085 (1,1,1) - these circles almost touches the boundary of screen
  3. 00:31:210 (1,2) - exaggerated. the beat on circle 2 is quite soft.
  4. 00:39:085 (1) - why use 1/1 slider to cover the sound at 00:39:272 - ? you mapped 00:42:272 - and 00:45:272 - . imo you'd better replace that 1/1 slider with some other rhythm combined by 1/2 beats.
  5. 01:03:085 (1,1,1,1) - why consistent NC? it is quite readable without NC and these sliders are not repeating. So NC in a similar way to cross-screen jumps may be not a good idea.
skipped fcl & kalibe tho. No really big issues there (and i'm kinda tired now ;w;). Good luck~

  1. jumps here feel kinda exaggerated. Why would similar & repeating vocal fit both short sliders and cross-screen jumps? they seems not to work together really well. it doesnt play weird at all imo tho, i find this way of mapping fits the best with the song
  2. 00:27:085 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - move them upward. 00:27:085 (1,1,1) - these circles almost touches the boundary of screen it 'almost' but its not so its fine
  3. 00:31:210 (1,2) - exaggerated. the beat on circle 2 is quite soft.dats strongest instrument in the combo -_ (well maybe we have diffrent ways to judge what is 'strong'
  4. 00:39:085 (1) - why use 1/1 slider to cover the sound at 00:39:272 - ? you mapped 00:42:272 - and 00:45:272 - . imo you'd better replace that 1/1 slider with some other rhythm combined by 1/2 beats. again, i think we have diffrent definition of strong. i found that instrumental to be weakest out of 4 in that verse so i emphasize that
  5. 01:03:085 (1,1,1,1) - why consistent NC? it is quite readable without NC and these sliders are not repeating. So NC in a similar way to cross-screen jumps may be not a good idea. ye changed nc'ing a bit same for other parts with sliders
skipped fcl & kalibe tho. No really big issues there (and i'm kinda tired now ;w;). Good luck~

* Only the name is Advanced. It's a regular Hard on 160bpm, so AR7 fits much better.
* 00:44:335 (1,1) - Very weird stack because stacks are supposed to go right-down side and this one just breaks it lol
* 01:16:397 - There is a syllable so ignoring this entirely doesn't make sense to me?

[Mk's Hard]
* 01:03:366 (2) - 01:15:366 (2) - Kinda unexpected triplet, there's no sound like that so what does this represent? Using 1/4s on clear 1/4 beats is already more than enough for a Hard diff lol
* 01:17:897 (7,1) - is emphasized through larger spacings but 01:05:897 (4,1) - is not, seems inconsistent
* 01:01:772 - 01:02:522 - 01:12:272 - 01:18:272 - Ignoring such beats seems too underwhelming considering how much you emphasized 01:06:085 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - these vocals. There's no reason for them to have so much difference in intensity while they're really similar vocals.

[Kalibe's Insane]
* 00:37:210 (5) - This is really a weird rhythm for me because no matter what I focus on, all the sounds on 00:37:397 - is stronger than 00:37:210 - . This rhythm is a bit special, yet you still used a regular white tick beat.
* 00:41:147 (3,4,5,6,7) - Why is this a stream? Its drum sound is totally different from 00:38:335 (1,2,3,4,5) -
* 01:05:897 (5,6,1) - Combo set is a bit weird because 6 is an unrelated sound to 01:04:960 (1,2,3,4) - . So rather use a pattern with 01:05:897 (1) - being NC'd, to keep it consistent with 01:00:085 (1,2) - 01:03:085 (1,2) -
* 01:12:085 (1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - This ruins the pattern consistency which you did before. In previous ones you started with 2 distinct notes and started 01:12:085 (1,2,1,2) - this kind of pattern when the vocal starts to repeat a certain word. But in this case it starts before the repeating word and ends before the repeating ends, which should be 01:13:772 - .
* 01:18:085 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - This as well. 01:18:085 (1) - and 01:18:460 (2,3) - have no direct relation to each other but has a independent pattern as a whole, while 01:19:210 (1,2,3,4) - they're also similar sounds too.
* 01:22:585 (1,2) - I think this rhythm should be reversed. As you did all the way you have emphasized the vocals and with this pattern it suddenly loses the emphasis on 01:22:772 - and emphasizes 01:22:960 (2) - this drumbeat by a jump out of nowhere, which I think doesn't really make sense.

[FCL's Another]
* 01:09:272 (2,3,4) - Imo 3 should be stacked under 2 instead, because the overall pattern is following the vocals, you don't need to space out 01:09:460 (3) - this drum-only beat, and would be better to emphasize 01:09:647 (4) - by putting a jump there. Just like you did 01:22:585 (1,2,3) - here.

[Relation]
This diff is problematic for me. I don't honestly care whether this is for meme or not, but this CS is used to just justify all the screen-crossing jumps on the kiai. I'm not complaining it being too large, but really, the jumps don't work well with the whole map's structure.

This song is generally very smooth and therefore the 'strong points' and 'weak points' aren't too much different. Your map, on the other hand, exceedingly differentiates strong and weak notes, and they're not even used consistently. Starting with the insanely slow sliders, they require almost no action. So the slider body/ends have very little to no effect, but it is still used on kind-of-important sounds like 00:52:585 (1) - 00:55:210 - 01:01:960 (1) - 01:03:272 - 01:06:272 - 01:07:960 (1) - and so on, while just-a-little-stronger sounds like 01:00:085 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - are used as full screen jumps. You may have done this to emphasize certain sounds, but this went over just 'emphasizing'. It only represents some sounds and kills everything else.

Also even though things like 01:00:085 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - are worth emphasizing, their actual intensity isn't too much different than the rest of the map/kiai, especially comparing to 01:03:460 (1,2,3,4) - 01:06:460 (1,2,3,4) - -like things, they're mostly the same; the only difference is that they don't have a consonant on the second syllable so it sounds a bit weaker, not the difference between a mountain and the land.

So consider taking care of these, and good luck!

imo this plays perfectly fine and i emphasize repeating vocals by making 'similar' flows and increasing spacing on each repeating pattern cuz if i just use same or less spacing itll look really lame imo so this is fine, and yes the song is really calm so i think slow slider would fit with the map and increasing spacing on certain parts will emphasize what i wanted people playing to notice in the song more obvious. the common ranked map these days are just 1/2 spam with no distinct way of telling which sounds are they exactly following so in this case this is perfectly fine cuz im obviously mapping vocals even though i expected many people to disagree with my mapping lol

So consider taking care of these, and good luck!
thanks!!

i didnt even get email notif for this lmao rip

consider exchange your combo color 2 and 3, so that the two similar green colors will be seperated and can make your maps easier to read and some points

Easy
OD2 is enough for an Easy diff
01:15:460 (2,3,4) - this doesn't flow really good, maybe rework the flow a bit to be smoother

Normal
00:59:335 (5,6) - don't really think this rhythm is really suitable here as the snare drum at 00:59:710 - is much stronger and more important thanthe one at 00:59:522 - , so I suggest you replace 00:59:522 (6) - with a single circle at 00:59:710 - to make the drums stand out, with two circles instead of slider

Advanced
00:38:335 (1) - I don't think you really need to have this NC to make the object in a comboset with only itself. having the follow point between 00:37:397 (3,1) - by removing the NC should make it easier for new players to react. same for 00:41:335 (1) - 00:44:335 (1) -
00:44:335 (1,1) - intended to not stack exactly?
01:21:272 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - and 01:23:147 (2,3,4,5,1) - seem to be a bit too hard in this diff considering the overall difficulty of this diff and I'd recommend to make them a bit easier by maybe merge two circles into a slider. it's ok if you don't want to change it though, not a really big problem after all

Mk's Hard
00:52:772 (4,5,6) - personally don't really like the straight flow here, moving 00:52:960 (5) - to around (68,300) to have a bit curve here should make it play smoother imo
01:03:366 (2) - don't think there's a beat here in the music, better remove this circle and see if you wanna unstack 01:03:272 (1,3) -
01:15:366 (2) - ^
01:22:772 (8) - maybe change it to a 1/2 slider to the rhythm coherent, the current 1/1 gap feels a bit odd imo when the song's going on smoothly

Kalibe's Insane
00:36:835 (4,5,1) - rhythm really messed up here, if you're following drums then you should better try to make the beats with finish clickable, if you're following vocal then you probably should not start a slider from 00:37:210 - where there's no vocal. plz try to rethink about this pattern and make your rhythm more consistent on a track
00:49:022 (4,1) - stack?
01:03:460 (1) - don't really think this NC being necessary, maybe remove it?
generally flows fine

FCL's Another
00:36:085 (1) - you need finish sound for the heavy cymbal beat on its head, and same for 00:39:085 (1) - and on...
00:45:460 (2,3,4) - oh this flow doesn't play so good ;w;
01:20:335 (1,2,3,4) - plays a bit weird right after a back n forth jump, maybe have a small angle in middle like this, similar to 01:02:335 (2,3,4,5) -

Relation
01:23:898 (2) - 1ms unsnapped
I generally got no other problems with this diff except for the 3/4 sliders like 00:38:710 (5) - , but you probably won't agree to change them into 1/2 sliders so, well whatever
interesting map

a bit sad that the beginning wasn't mapped and quite weird that none of you guys spammed square jumps when the song title tells so

not much, call me back

00:52:772 (4,5,6) - personally don't really like the straight flow here, moving 00:52:960 (5) - to around (68,300) to have a bit curve here should make it play smoother imo i think he did this to emphasize vocals in the same part so they all have the same flow so keep, and i think it doesnt flow that bad tbh
01:03:366 (2) - don't think there's a beat here in the music, better remove this circle and see if you wanna unstack 01:03:272 (1,3) - removed the 1/4 but kept the stack so it doesnt mess the pattern up
01:15:366 (2) - ^
01:22:772 (8) - maybe change it to a 1/2 slider to the rhythm coherent, the current 1/1 gap feels a bit odd imo when the song's going on smoothly keep cuz it looks like he was focusing and vocals and leave some gaps that doesnt have vocals on before and i think it works here too

FCL's Another
00:36:085 (1) - you need finish sound for the heavy cymbal beat on its head, and same for 00:39:085 (1) - and on... since he did hitsound this diff himself and after ive look at it i can say that he thinks the cymbals on those are a lot weaker than the stronger ones on the kiai so he only hitsounded the strong ones
00:45:460 (2,3,4) - oh this flow doesn't play so good ;w; moved the double circles up a bit
01:20:335 (1,2,3,4) - plays a bit weird right after a back n forth jump, maybe have a small angle in middle like this, similar to 01:02:335 (2,3,4,5) - i agree

Relation
01:23:898 (2) - 1ms unsnapped fixed now? xd idk cant tell
I generally got no other problems with this diff except for the 3/4 sliders like 00:38:710 (5) - , but you probably won't agree to change them into 1/2 sliders so, well whatever yep lol
interesting map

a bit sad that the beginning wasn't mapped and quite weird that none of you guys spammed square jumps when the song title tells so
i like weird stuff

not much, call me back
thanks

01:16:397 - A vocal line exists here. It was a little hard to understand your decision of a blank here since all other blanks didn't contain a vocal. Even the vague ones.

mk's Hard.
01:02:897 (4,1,2) - The stack here in-game is a little broken. Reverting the stack leniency to 7 or using a manual stack will solve it.

Kalibe's Insane.
00:44:335 (1,2) - Why is this only a 1/4 slider while 00:38:335 (1,2,3,4) - 00:41:335 (1,2,3,4) - were 1/4 circles? Even the same rhythm being continuously repeated, using such a variation while the music keep being similar didn't felt good in structures. Rather 00:41:335 has a difference in the music so using a 1/4 slider here would feel more appropriate along the song as FCL did.

Relation.
Can I ask about the difficulty naming decision?
00:24:085 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - 00:27:085 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - The song is similar, and the pattern design is quite similar enough which gave a structure feeling. Just the second pattern having a bit huger scale felt questionable since the strength of both part of the song was quite similar. Currently, it felt like an intensed pattern based on a similar feeling which created a technical difference while the song wasn't so much different.
I think the structure design of the kiai section needs some revision at this point.
01:00:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) here, you've used a consecutive cross-screen jump pattern to express that part of the song. While it felt a little bit exaggerated "personally", I found it effective enough since it was a unique concept that was used exclusively here. The issue is that the idea wasn't consistently applied. Parts like 01:03:460 (1,2,3,4) - 01:06:460 (1,2,3,4) - are also having a similar idea of vocals (repeating the same words over and over) in the song as 01:00:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2), but the way you mapped was completely different. The second part also have this kind of issue.
01:09:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Comparing 01:09:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) with 01:11:335 (1,2,1,2), it seems you've tried to express a different feeling based on the flows. The idea was okay, but partially. The scale of the jump itself was pretty much the similar in both sections, which basically gave a similar feeling while the song was showing a difference.
01:12:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:21:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - The jump here sure feels overexaggerated. Because, the jump scale is the same with 01:10:960 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:23:710 (1,2) which is the strong sounds of the song. Using the same jump scale with that failed to create difference in your map in expressing this particular song.
01:15:460 (1,2,1,2) - Why is this having a parallel jump that reminds the other part of the song?
Seeming from your previous explanation, it looks like you were intending to give a similar feeling based on similar flows but since the pattern itself that consists the flow was pretty different from the grounds, they didn't felt to be creating consistency enough.

Popping over the issues of the highest difficulty for now.

Btw, I think the artist name should be "Soutaiseiriron" due to itunes.
I also see a ranked map use this as an artist name too, so....

01:02:897 (4,1,2) - The stack here in-game is a little broken. Reverting the stack leniency to 7 or using a manual stack will solve it. i want that so 1/1 stack and 1/2 is a bit different (i take care of his diff now cuz he quitted)

Can I ask about the difficulty naming decision? supposed to be something that indicates the map is scaling up related to the lyrics, but idk wat will do. since the band is called 'theory of relativity' i think this will work just fine
Currently, it felt like an intensed pattern based on a similar feeling which created a technical difference while the song wasn't so much different. but the reason that the first one is smaller is supposed to be the one to lead player in the map. if i start the map right with bigger jumps it would just feel wrong imo consider how the song have a slow intro (which i didnt map but still affect players who doesnt skip the intro part)
I think the structure design of the kiai section needs some revision at this point. i dont think so mine is alright and i like how it plays
The second part also have this kind of issue. thats not even an ''issue'' i think it should be pretty obvious when playing the map but the 'kaku' and other similar stuff that i make jumps HAVE 2 SYLLABLES ON 1/2 SNAP. the ai ai ai ai however it may still be technically 2 syllables cuz u say it as a-i but the fact that its a word by itself makes me count it as 1 syllable word, so i make 1/2 sliders to map those. also its still using same concept of scaling up the spacing for each repeating time as you can see the sv goes up by 0.1x each and the spacing is getting bigger each time too
01:09:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Comparing 01:09:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) with 01:11:335 (1,2,1,2), it seems you've tried to express a different feeling based on the flows. The idea was okay, but partially. The scale of the jump itself was pretty much the similar in both sections, which basically gave a similar feeling while the song was showing a difference. ok i did make the first section u mentioned have a bit lower spacing and scale the 2nd one up to 8.00x at last jump (spacing should be more noticeable when playing) this should emphasize the difference better now
01:12:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:21:835 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - The jump here sure feels overexaggerated. Because, the jump scale is the same with 01:10:960 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:23:710 (1,2) which is the strong sounds of the song i did make these a bit bigger now. Using the same jump scale with that failed to create difference in your map in expressing this particular song. reduced 01:13:585 (1,2) - to 7.1x now. should be better cuz the strong ones are now 8.00x and its different/ also reduced 01:22:585 (1,2) - a bit and formed cleaner pattern
01:15:460 (1,2,1,2) - Why is this having a parallel jump that reminds the other part of the song? its not really a same pattern if you look at it carefully. the usual patterns are constantly rotating 1-2's which keeps rotating at the same degrees (or almost same) everytime. but for this one its only 5 notes so it doesnt really rotate and also 01:16:210 (3) - is breaking the rotating flow so its actually different from others repeating vocal jumps
Seeming from your previous explanation, it looks like you were intending to give a similar feeling based on similar flows but since the pattern itself that consists the flow was pretty different from the grounds, they didn't felt to be creating consistency enough.

Popping over the issues of the highest difficulty for now.

thanks both
also frontier that ranked map have wrong metadata lmao its yakushimaru etsuko there

Hi, I've checked the map again, and reviewed your explanation. Your explanation regarding the syllable felt a little unintuitive and less obvious 'personally', but was understandable because you were expressing the song in a consistent manner as your interpretation. Just take this as a feedback that your intention wasn't quite delivered straightforwardly at least to me.

Some extra things that I'd like to add is that you could've shown more similarity between the circle jumps of 2syllable vocals and the slider repetition of 1syllable vocals. 01:00:085 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - at here, the scaling up is really straightforward to catch which accompanies with an overlap. However 01:03:460 (1,2,3,4) - 01:06:460 (1,2,3,4) - the scale ups at these weren't that noticable. Even you were trying to increase the sv by x0.1 multipliers, they didn't really created some meaningful difference in the slider shapes to deliver your consistent intentions effectively. Referring to individual sliders, all of them are having the head and tail overlapped no matter what the sv multiplier was.

01:03:460 (1,2,3,4) - 01:18:460 (1,2,3,4) - Also you could consider adjusting your slider patterns to give an overlap concept on these as you've done at 01:00:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:06:460 (1,2,3,4) - 01:12:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2). I think that should be the other similiarity factor you can give since the concept of the sliders vs. circles kinda look completely different while it's just the small difference of vocals.

Finally, I still think the emphasis placement of the jump scales were kinda arbitrary to form an effective difference. 01:10:210 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - this looks good now. 01:12:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - 01:15:460 (1,2,1,2) - these still look a bit too large. You've explain that the final jumps of 01:11:710 (1,2) - 01:23:710 (1,2) - are now a scale of 8.00x and the others are smaller than that, but 7s or 8s just look as a similar large jump without having a meaningful difference. This is a similar issue as I've mention that the 0.1x sv multipliers weren't enough to create a noticable difference. Reducing the 7x jumps to 6x as you've done at 01:00:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) would be enough to assure some difference.

Thanks for the polite response.

I think that should be the other similiarity factor you can give since the concept of the sliders vs. circles kinda look completely different while it's just the small difference of vocals did both, sv now increases at 0.25x per slider (kept the first one 1.3x cuz i think its better transition to just go straight for higher sv after other parts of the song which is 1.2x) and rearranged pattern

Reducing the 7x jumps to 6x as you've done at 01:00:460 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) would be enough to assure some difference. i reduced to around 6.5x instead, i think thats enough already to have some difference than 8x

Thanks for the polite response.
thanks
also did self change to 01:23:710 (1,2) - made the jump 8.5x since its even stronger than 01:11:710 (1,2) -

  1. 01:11:897 (2) - Offscreen
  2. It's super weird that you didn't map the intro, it's a super short song so no one would mind retry the map to play that part.
  3. 00:33:085 (1,1) - the combo spam feels super unnecessary, there are no changes in the music, patterns, sv.
  4. 00:37:023 (5,6) - 00:43:023 (5) - why the rhythm is different being the music the same?
  5. 00:52:585 (1) - this is touching the HP bar, according to the RC you need to avoid this.
  6. 01:10:960 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - this is literally too much, being honest with you I don't think this would be ranked with this huge jumps, since the song don't justify them IMO, also there is even an offscreen object.
  7. 01:23:710 (1) - this is also touching the HP bar
Kalibe's Insane

  1. 00:36:085 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - vs 00:39:085 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - 00:42:085 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - 00:45:085 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - the rhythm is too inconsistent and the music is the same.
  2. 01:22:585 (1) - you should really continue with the 1-2 vocal mapping like in 01:21:835 (1,2,1,2) -
Hard

  1. 01:17:710 (6,7,1) - This is too much compared to the rest of the diff, you should nerf it imo.
The jumps at the top diff feels really exagerated IMO, specially in the part that I pointed out, that's why I don't feels comfortable to icon this, the best you can do now is to try to get an agreement with sonnyc, since he popped the bubble.

  2. It's super weird that you didn't map the intro, it's a super short song so no one would mind retry the map to play that part. na i dont want to
  3. 00:33:085 (1,1) - the combo spam feels super unnecessary, there are no changes in the music, patterns, sv. fix i guess
  4. 00:37:023 (5,6) - 00:43:023 (5) - why the rhythm is different being the music the same? diversity and its not that big difference than before cuz its low spacing circles so should be fine tbh
  5. 00:52:585 (1) - this is touching the HP bar, according to the RC you need to avoid this. its not unrankable doe
  6. 01:10:960 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - this is literally too much, being honest with you I don't think this would be ranked with this huge jumps, since the song don't justify them IMO, also there is even an offscreen object. emphasizes repeating vocals a lot better and make it stand out a lot more than 'non repeating vocals' cuz ppl would recognize/remember the repeating ones better than normal words so it should be emphasized a lot more IMO
  7. 01:23:710 (1) - this is also touching the HP bar
the point in hard diff looks fine to me also and i dont want to change too much of the orignal mappers work so i keep
kalibe is dead also and i think those are fine for variation

  1. 00:34:960 (1,2) - Dont you wanna have higher spacing between these than 00:34:585 (1,2) - because pitch is getting stronger
  2. 00:39:085 (1) - You can do two 1/2 sliders instead because 00:39:460 - this is quite strong and could definitely be clickable just like you did it on 00:36:460 - 00:42:460 - etc
  3. 01:03:085 (1) - Since you are following vocals it would be cooler to 01:03:272 - this clickable instead of 01:03:085 -
    01:06:085 (1) - 01:15:085 (1) - same for these
[FCL]
  1. 00:59:335 (4,5) - you could space these more than 3,4 because the drum snares are much stronger
[Kalibe]
  1. 00:27:835 (3,1) - 00:29:147 (2,3,4) - These patterns aesthetically dont even look like they are from this difficulty. i dont see messy overlaps and stuff like these in the rest of the map so yea. aesthetic consistency is not what i want i just think these patterns u made here are messy in general
  2. 01:15:085 (1) - Same thing as i pointed out in top difficulty. Since you are strictly following vocals, it would be better to make 01:15:272 - clickable instead of 01:15:085 -
    Same for 01:18:085 (1) -
  3. 01:11:335 (1) - to be honest this could totally have two circles because those drums are strong
[MkGuh]
  1. 00:25:210 (4,2) - Both of these have extra spacing for reasons i don't understand, can you explain
  2. 00:37:210 (5,6) - Dont you wanna have 6 unstacked here since 00:37:210 (5) - supports a really really weak sound while 6 has a really hard sound. You executed this nicely at 00:40:397 (5) - so yeah
    Same goes for 00:43:210 (5,6) -
  3. 00:51:835 (1,2,3) - well you chose a symmetry pattern at a really bad point tbh. You had quite a few jumps in your map for aesthetic purposes but here you could have a jump for emphasis purpose which is important because 00:52:397 (3) - This totally deserves more spacing than 00:52:210 (2) - and you can tell why
  4. 01:02:897 (4,1) - Can you like try to manually stack it because auto stack messes up the pattern
  5. 01:22:960 - i know you follow vocals strictly but ignoring this beat sounds really empty too. you can easily change 01:22:772 (8) - to a 1/2 slider and it wont mess up anything and it will solve the problem
[Advanced]
  1. 01:05:897 (1) - Even tho theres a 1/1 gap between this slider and previous note i still suggest you to have it spaced instead of stacking because the cymbal needs emphasis! Easy fix suggestion http://puu.sh/y6RQO/dc76552ada.jpg
  2. 01:23:147 (2,3,4,5) - You seriously dont have to force gimmicky feeling in this level of difficulty. Having a stack in middle of a circular pattern like this is just weird. Theres nothing wrong about the sound at 01:23:522 - Its similar to the rest so theres no real reason to have it stacked unless you want to be edgy
[Normal]
  1. 00:41:335 (5) - 14 pixels out of play field. Aimod doesnt catch it as off screen for some reason
Easy is fine

I honestly dont see the top difficulty as a problem. The jumps might feel over spaced but thats the reason the big circle size exists.

  1. 00:34:960 (1,2) - Dont you wanna have higher spacing between these than 00:34:585 (1,2) - because pitch is getting stronger ok
  2. 00:39:085 (1) - You can do two 1/2 sliders instead because 00:39:460 - this is quite strong and could definitely be clickable just like you did it on 00:36:460 - 00:42:460 - etc no i am trying to make it more diverse as you can see that these 4 things are all different
  3. 01:03:085 (1) - Since you are following vocals it would be cooler to 01:03:272 - this clickable instead of 01:03:085 - i tried and it just feels wrong sorry
    01:06:085 (1) - 01:15:085 (1) - same for these
[Kalibe]
  1. 00:27:835 (3,1) - 00:29:147 (2,3,4) - These patterns aesthetically dont even look like they are from this difficulty. i dont see messy overlaps and stuff like these in the rest of the map so yea. aesthetic consistency is not what i want i just think these patterns u made here are messy in general edited
  2. 01:15:085 (1) - Same thing as i pointed out in top difficulty. Since you are strictly following vocals, it would be better to make 01:15:272 - clickable instead of 01:15:085 - same
    Same for 01:18:085 (1) -
  3. 01:11:335 (1) - to be honest this could totally have two circles because those drums are strong yes
[MkGuh]
  1. 00:25:210 (4,2) - Both of these have extra spacing for reasons i don't understand, can you explain it looks cool
  2. 00:37:210 (5,6) - Dont you wanna have 6 unstacked here since 00:37:210 (5) - supports a really really weak sound while 6 has a really hard sound. You executed this nicely at 00:40:397 (5) - so yeah ok
    Same goes for 00:43:210 (5,6) -
  3. 00:51:835 (1,2,3) - well you chose a symmetry pattern at a really bad point tbh. You had quite a few jumps in your map for aesthetic purposes but here you could have a jump for emphasis purpose which is important because 00:52:397 (3) - This totally deserves more spacing than 00:52:210 (2) - and you can tell why cool
  4. 01:02:897 (4,1) - Can you like try to manually stack it because auto stack messes up the pattern no, this makes it more readable even though it looks bad but it can be justified
  5. 01:22:960 - i know you follow vocals strictly but ignoring this beat sounds really empty too. you can easily change 01:22:772 (8) - to a 1/2 slider and it wont mess up anything and it will solve the problem ok
[Advanced]
  1. 01:05:897 (1) - Even tho theres a 1/1 gap between this slider and previous note i still suggest you to have it spaced instead of stacking because the cymbal needs emphasis! Easy fix suggestion http://puu.sh/y6RQO/dc76552ada.jpg i like ez fix
  2. 01:23:147 (2,3,4,5) - You seriously dont have to force gimmicky feeling in this level of difficulty. Having a stack in middle of a circular pattern like this is just weird. Theres nothing wrong about the sound at 01:23:522 - Its similar to the rest so theres no real reason to have it stacked unless you want to be edgy yes and it is for the sake of emphasizing last 2 snares by making those thing on jumps so this needs to be stacked in order to highlight the last 2 notes
[Normal]
  1. 00:41:335 (5) - 14 pixels out of play field. Aimod doesnt catch it as off screen for some reason its not offscreen though
Easy is fine

I honestly dont see the top difficulty as a problem. The jumps might feel over spaced but thats the reason the big circle size exists.

I'll check this tonightm
- Frontier -
since the map itself has got lots of mods from bns and it is pretty neat so im not gonna mention things much

[Easy]
  1. I think you could use HP3 OD3 so it could arrange consecutively between easy normal and advanced (3,4,5).
  2. 01:13:585 (3,4) - The instrumental here is different from the previous section tho but pattern in the second kiai part is totally the same as the first kiai part. So you might make these hitobjects become the same as 01:01:585 (3,4) - for consistency.
[Normal]
  1. Could you increase more stack leniency to something like 6-7 even there is a slightly difference between 3 and 6.
  2. 01:10:585 (3,4) - Enable stacks here, you could see that the stack between 01:11:335 (4,5) - is quite unsettling. But the thing that I wanna mention is the spacing here is quite big. You could just make manually stacked here so the spacing here will be normal.
  3. 01:22:585 (4,5) - I think you shouldn't skip the vocals at 01:22:772 - which is pretty dominant and since most of the hitobjects have mainly been followed the vocals, making these hitobjects followed the vocals here could be better. I suggest you to make pattern here like this, this could represent the vocals better.
[Advanced]
  1. 00:30:835 (3,4) - This part has the same instrumental sound as 00:24:835 (3,4) - but they are mapped differently. You might consider making them the same, the first one looks more fit with the song so you might change the second one to be the same as the first one if you agree with this suggestion tho.
  2. 00:45:085 (1) - Since the instrumental rhythm here is 1/2 beat which is different from the others, so making this slider 1/2 might be more suitable with the song better.
  3. 01:21:835 (4,5) - You might make this become 1/2 slider because it has the same lyrics as 01:22:210 (6) -.
  4. 01:23:710 (5,1) - After I manipulated the slider velocity of this green line here to 1.1x, I noticed that the spacing here is 1.36x which normally the spacing is 1.3x. So you might lower the spacing here so it could be consistent, since typical advanced difficulties always use consistent spacing.
[Mk's Hard]
  1. CS 5 :benisok:
  2. 01:23:147 (1,3) - Players might not see the hitcircle at 01:23:897 (3) - because the slider 01:23:147 (1) - is overlapping the circle. It's not an objective issue but I suggest to move the circle 01:23:897 (3) - away so it could avoid having unfair reading ability.
[Kalibe's Insane]
  1. 00:41:335 (1,2,3,4) - In fact, the drum sounds in this part are only located at 00:41:335 (1,3) -. So you might remove the hitobjects at 00:41:428 (2,4) -.
[FCL's Another]
  1. 00:32:335 (5) - Shouldn't it have a reverse here as you have done it at 00:26:335 (5) -.
  2. 00:45:085 (1,2) - Maybe you could make the slider shape become different rather than making them the same, like how you did on previous sliders like 00:36:085 (1,2) - etc. Don't you intend to make the slider different? So if it is, consider making for these too!
  3. 01:22:585 (1,2) - This part could be swapped because the vocal sound at 01:22:960 - is less dominant than 01:22:585 - and 01:22:772 -.
  4. 01:23:710 (1,2) - I think this could be more emphasized by increasing the spacing here.
[Relation]
  1. 00:33:085 (1,2) - Pretty odd that you use reverses here but 00:30:085 (1,2,1,2) - don't. I think you should make them the same for consistency.
  2. 00:57:648 (2) - Because of the slider end which leads to downwards, players could easily think that the following sliders will be downwards without conscious of knowing that the following slider is located at the same point as 00:57:648 (2) -. I'd recommend to change this slider here to 2 circles with 1/4 beat gap between notes.
  3. 01:06:085 (1) - I think this slider isn't needed to add new combo here. As same as 01:15:085 (1) -, 01:03:085 (1) -, and 01:12:085 (1) -.

Please let me know if you finished playing ROV, and you and all GDers have replied mods.

You might consider making them the same, the first one looks more fit with the song so you might change the second one to be the same as the first one if you agree with this suggestion tho. they both fits with the song, i dont think it needs to be changed. this is also for the sake of a little more variety in the map
  2. 00:45:085 (1) - Since the instrumental rhythm here is 1/2 beat which is different from the others, so making this slider 1/2 might be more suitable with the song better. tried, but had to keep the stack usage if i do so. take a look at this: http://puu.sh/zcRVe/1d12c3f2ad.jpg / this overlap makes me a n g e r y
  3. 01:21:835 (4,5) - You might make this become 1/2 slider because it has the same lyrics as 01:22:210 (6) -. makes sense
  4. 01:23:710 (5,1) - After I manipulated the slider velocity of this green line here to 1.1x, I noticed that the spacing here is 1.36x which normally the spacing is 1.3x. 1. 00:33:085 (1,2) - Pretty odd that you use reverses here but 00:30:085 (1,2,1,2) - don't. I think you should make them the same for consistency. theyre still following the same rhythm sequence of 1/2: 3-3-2 in the measure like the other ones before, so theyre fine
  2. 00:57:648 (2) - Because of the slider end which leads to downwards, players could easily think that the following sliders will be downwards without conscious of knowing that the following slider is located at the same point as 00:57:648 (2) -. I'd recommend to change this slider here to 2 circles with 1/4 beat gap between notes. but no one follows the 1/4 sliderpath, they just hold at head. especially when this is an extra-short looking one, stacking it here would actually be more convenient for players imo
  3. 01:06:085 (1) - I think this slider isn't needed to add new combo here. As same as 01:15:085 (1) -, 01:03:085 (1) -, and 01:12:085 (1) -. i think the current way i used nc matches up with the vocal sequence better so i think nc's at those points are necessary.
