This was actually one of the earliest songs that I began to map, when I was still new to mapping. Only thing was, I didn't feel quite confident in publishing this map during that time. Now, I know I'm ready.

really nice diff, don't really know what to say. ;~;
  1. 00:05:563 (1,2) - personally I'd prefer if you rotated themit might go slightly against the flow of 3-4-1, but it works better than 00:07:499 (2,1) - like it is atm.
  2. 00:33:144 - consider adding a circle here? atm it feels a bit empty
    same here - 00:58:305
  3. 00:35:080 (3) - remove clap from reverse? (sounds better to me without it, but I suck at hitsounding, so.. xD)
  4. 00:37:015 (1,2,3,4,1) - I think you could improve the movement here a lot, if you move 2 further up
    It looks great with the blanket but if you alternate the shape of 2 it could look even better without a blanket
  5. 00:59:757 (2,1) - you did great with blankets, but this one is a bit off >: (middle needs to be closer to circle)
  6. 01:11:370 (3,1) - ^

  1. 00:05:563 (1) - I'd prefer a short slider here til the next red tick. that matches with the music and makes 00:06:289 (2) - far easier to hit

    I like it, but you might want to ask some newbie for a testplay to make sure it works

  4. 01:26:854 (4,5) - movement is a bit meh, you could place 5 further to the right and rotate it a bit
    then you'd just have to stack 01:28:789 (1) - below the slider's tail, not the head, but that's fine, imo

  1. HP and OD +1? 5 is a bit low I think
  2. there's almost nothing to say here. at least I don't find anything. overall, you might want to consider alternating some parts cause you mirrored some patterns and with the song being so short it's a bit boring to play. ;-; and you were creative in E/N, so why not here? (or maybe I'm blind and didn't notice the copypasted part xD)
  3. 00:42:338 (1,2) - symmetry is slightly off, move 2 a bit down
  4. 00:46:692 (6,7) - mini-jump is a bit confusing
  5. 00:47:660 (1) - just my personal taste, but pls try to find a more beautiful shape? .o.
  6. 01:13:184 (12,1) - feels more natural to play if unstacked (but that might just be me..)

    Erm, no thank you, that sudden tilt of flow for 00:05:563 (1) - looks as feels unnatural for the cursor to follow.

  1. 01:18:144 (2,3) - blanket can be improved, for slider blankets it might be easier to just put a hit circle on the slider head/tail then blanket around that approach circle instead of just guessing (since slider tails don't really have a proper approach circle).
    In this case try putting a hit circle at 01:18:870 - on top of the tail of 01:18:144 (2) - , then use that approach circle to shape 01:19:112 (4) - . You can remove the hit circle when you're done~
  2. 01:26:370 - feels a bit empty since you have clap every other beat, but here you have a gap where there is supposed to be a clap. Consider adding a note.

    Easy difficulty looks good, I would have preferred more interesting slider shapes than just the curve and the straight line, but that's up to you to decide.

  3. 00:28:305 (7,1) - very subtle, but not a perfect blanket. Decreasing y-value on 00:28:789 (1) - should do it (y 36 --> y 34).
  4. 01:06:531 (2) - I'm not sure if you know this trick or not, but if you ctrl+g a slider, the program automatically fixes up the points for you while retaining the same shape, for example here the middle point is a bit close to the tail of the slider. If you ctrl+g, the point will be in the middle again, so you can just ctrl+g it again to get the same shape (ctrl+g twice, same shape but fixes slider points for you). Again there's nothing wrong with this slider or slider points as long as the shape looks fine.

    Norma difficulty looks solid.

To me it looks like you played it safe for the easy and normal difficulties. There are no real problems with the difficulties, but I think you can find a way to make them more interesting. Having fun slider shapes won't hurt (using a combination of bezier and linear points, sort of like 01:03:628 (1) - in your hard difficulty). If you have to increase slider velocity to make cool slider shapes then go ahead, your goal is to make the map fun :)

My advice for now would be to make the map look a bit nicer, right now there's a lot of symmetry/similar slider shapes and to me the whole map sort of looks 'similar', pattern-wise. This is just my opinion~

  2. i don't know why your hard diff HP and OD only 5 that's not a good ideal...HP+1or2 and OD+1or2 may be played enjoyable.
  3. open your aimod and fix all unsnap slider
  4. 00:16:692 (4,1) - stack it better, it is 0.01x.stack leniency would not work.

I was able to remove the text and the red splotch. I also sharpened the image and made it 16:9. Here you go:
I also made an alternate version where the palette is red and black instead of white and black. So here is that:
If you want some other color palette (any 2 colors, really) just let me know and I'll make it happen :D

00:58:305 - I know you said your rule is that you don't put notes 1 measure after spinners, but I just want to second another person in this thread and say that it really feels like one is needed here. Take that as you will.

00:40:402 (6) - Added finish hitsound here, it's the same reasoning as above. Even though there isn't a cymbal crash in the song, it's still a significant lull in the music that I feel should be highlighted.
00:57:338 - The spinner has a strong enough finish to warrent some type of hitsound. Because the next hit circle is a finish I recommend ending the spinner with a clap, BUT double finish sounds cool to me too. Either way, it needs something.

Hard:
SPOILER
00:40:402 (1) - Same reasoning as easy and hard.
00:45:725 (3) - Why is there are finish hitsound in the middle of this? There is nothing significant about this part on its own. Perhaps you meant to place a clap or something else? Frankly I think it sounds better without any hitsound there at all.
00:57:338 - Same reasoning as spinner in normal difficulty.
01:23:037(1) - Move to X:312, Y:364 to be lined up with 2 slider.

Overall it's a fairly simple and short song. Can't find much more to mod since it's so straightforward. As a general feel, for Hard difficulty anyway, I found it a bit boring to play. More interesting patterns would fix this. All 3 maps are solid as they are though. I like the song btw, good choice. I would like to see it ranked so have a star too! Hope for the best in the future of your map!

Overall it's a fairly simple and short song. Can't find much more to mod since it's so straightforward. As a general feel, for Hard difficulty anyway, I found it a bit boring to play. More interesting patterns would fix this. All 3 maps are solid as they are though. I like the song btw, good choice. I would like to see it ranked so have a star too! Hope for the best in the future of your map!

As for the chorus, I have to follow it because there's no other unique rhythm (apart from the repetitive guitar strumming - which would be even more boring to map) that I can follow.

Ok, my part of m4m, here we go ^^

[General]

  1. First of all, the offset sounds a bit early to me, maybe around ~5 to 10 ms. I'd highly suggest you to ask someone for a small timing check, as you don't want a popped bubble because of slightly wrong offset...
  2. 01:09:434 - It seems a little bit strange to end the first kiai here. The music doesn't really change at this point. It would make more sense to end it at 01:11:370, because the transition from the first to the second chorus is taking place in the following measure. You can hear it because the beat sort of changes, and you can hear some cymbals (01:11:612 + 01:11:854) here, which also represent the transition between the choruses.
  3. Add "TV Size" to the tags, as this is obviously not the the full song, but an Anime opening. You could also add some other tags, for example "Anime" or some more main characters.
  4. The difficulty settings seem kind of low for Hard and Insane diff, maybe you are a bit too nice to the players :b Please- Alarido's Mark is supposed to be an Insane diff, telling from your description. I understand that OD8 is not appropriate here and I also understand you don't want to use the maintream settings here, but please use at least OD7, or you'll have tons of HD+DT double-S in the Top 50. I'd also suggest HP7, because it's more fun. And if you changed that, I'd let the Hard diff have OD6, to fit the spread more and to make it a little bit more fun :b
  5. I hate it when people use their clap sound as a slidertick sound, because it actually sounds different (and worse) when used like this. In addition, the blue line at 00:58:668 feels like you should (probably) map it. I suggest the following rhythm, or if you disagree, the second rhthm would also be okay:
    20. 01:11:612 - I think the audio volume of 40% is here for no reason. Change it to 50% to fit better. Also, add a clap at the head, because it is the same sound as 01:11:854 (3).
    21. 01:12:580 (6) - Add a clap here as well (at the head), because of the cymbal sound.
    22. 01:12:822 (7) - I'd suggest you to put a clap + Drum Additions on head + reverse + tail. It makes a nice transition to the following chorus.

    24. 01:28:789 (1) - The speed of this slider was not inuitive at all. Basically, your other speed-up sliders worked well, but this one doesn't. There's no easy method to fix it though, without deleting the (beautiful) slidershape... Well, one version would be, just make it x1.0 instead of 2.0 and let the slider end at 01:29:515, because that's basically where the background noise ends. If you build up a nice fade out in audio volume, it should work well. If you don't want to do that, consider to delete the slider ;w; Sorry, but I think it's not readable and I usually can read things.

    Very impressive mapset! The song sounds hard to map and you've done a good job ^^ The rhythm is nice and it plays fine. I found some issues here and there but overall it's really nice.

I suggest the following rhythm, or if you disagree, the second rhthm would also be okay: ► Following the Rhythm 2, so it'll not put harshness levels so high. Thanks ^^
  20. 01:11:612 - I think the audio volume of 40% is here for no reason. Change it to 50% to fit better. Also, add a clap at the head, because it is the same sound as 01:11:854 (3).

  22. 01:12:822 (7) - I'd suggest you to put a clap + Drum Additions on head + reverse + tail. It makes a nice transition to the following chorus.

  24. 01:28:789 (1) - The speed of this slider was not inuitive at all. Basically, your other speed-up sliders worked well, but this one doesn't. There's no easy method to fix it though, without deleting the (beautiful) slidershape... Well, one version would be, just make it x1.0 instead of 2.0 and let the slider end at 01:29:515, because that's basically where the background noise ends. If you build up a nice fade out in audio volume, it should work well. If you don't want to do that, consider to delete the slider ;w; Sorry, but I think it's not readable and I usually can read things. ► Friendlised the SV and turned slider into a little, incipient spiral.

Really, I've put a poor hitsounding (while having good symmetries). { Usually, my hitsound sux, so I should attend some classes with Gens and LuigiHann urgently -- what I feel you did it well (: } In addition, I've mapped the diff in a few days (rushing a bit) and with no inspiration (I wanna learn how to map songs that don't make my heart sing, so I would take part on MBC and more).

Oh, I also forgot to mention @Alarido I changed the offset, and timing points in your diff while fixing the map set. And I've already fixed the combo colors, widescreen and any other issues concerning with the song setup and such.

And is it alright if you post the file using [code][/code] here instead next time? I'm not a big fan on opening .zip files... :|
