With this song, you have earned my respect (mainly because of how it is INSANE). Haha j/k, I really appreciate you for making a beatmap of the ending! This show seems so underrated.

BTW, where did you get an mp3 of the song without the preview part at the opening part? I always imagine the preview at the start of the song, especially Inaba's 'Selfless freak' line from the episode 3 preview (in episode 2) which goes immediately into the guitar. Favorite part, right there.

If I could make a beatmap I would, but I've proven myself to be disastrous at making them (which is why they aren't here lol).

Hmm, I have always wanted to make a mapset of this ED, but I couldn't find the mp3 anywhere, but when I saw this, I looked around again and saw some mp3s coming up.

I can find a good mp3. But in return, can I make a guest difficulty? You can choose how hard it can be, but I prefer Hard or Insane.

I haven't ranked a full mapset, but I did get some guest diffs....

I originally named this TV Size + Intro, because intro is the part that I truly liked about this song...But I heard that title makes it unrankable and I knew someone will point this out sooner or later orz
so if i wanted to keep the intro, what would i name the mapset? And I will probably look around for a better mp3 anyways...just hoping for the best

EDIT: I realize I have a map with a similar situation http://osu.ppy.sh/s/43848 and I named it Short Ver...so maybe i can call this short version too? I named it TV size only because it actually is the tv version of the ending...

Plus, I think maps with two Insanes are alright, just not more than two.

MAT told me to do it lol
It's pretty easy, just half the bpm, and then multiply slider velocity multiplier by 2 on all timing points (and double tick rate if it really matters)...and then look in AI mod to see if anything went wrong. Only took me 2 min lol

I love this song and I'm really excited to see people mapping it with various styles.

Here's my novice mod, hopefully it can be of some use. Keep in mind that I started playing the game about a month ago so I am still developing skills. :)


Easy

01:04:416 (2) - The syncopation feels confusing here. I would nudge the slider left on the timeline by 1/4th so that it falls on the white tick, the 3rd beat of the measure. I would then make the slider 1/4 beat longer. It sounds good and keeps to syncopation. I guess move the slider closer according to the distance snap also.

Really great easy it flows nicely.

Normal

00:05:075 (1) - I think it feels better if you nudge the 1 repeating slider left 1/4 so that it begins on the blue tick before the 3rd measure starts here. That and add another repeat to the end of it, and move it closer to the previous slider according to distance snap. It follows the music and sticks to syncopation from the previous slider end. I suggest this because I had an urge to play it 1/4 beat earlier when I played the map, but that may be because I know the song. :D

01:35:967 (1) - Maybe enlarge these heart sliders to make it so each is 1 and 1/2 beats. Somehow I just didn't like having to wait so long to hit the 2 and complete the heart slider, it feels better if they're larger.
This or you could make it all one long slider like in the hard difficulty, but maybe you were going for variety with the heart sliders in each difficulty.

I like this normal.

Moonlight's Hard

No lead-in time? Haha. You or someone else probably noticed this already. I started the beatmap and missed a note right away. :(

Nothing to say really. Sorry :). I enjoyed this hard, nice spacing, good streams, fun stuff.

This map is really hard. Really, really hard. :(
I couldn't complete it without No Fail on, so I don't have much helpful to say.

00:36:830 (1,2,3,4) - These jumps are crazy ridiculous hard, but maybe I'm the only one that thinks so. :o

01:10:450 (1) - This part is epic.

Really cool map. I'll practice so I can complete it. :cry:

00:09:213 (1) - I feel like this jump to the 1 from the slider in the top right corner is a little mean for this part of the song. :? I would always get a 100 on that slider. Maybe select 00:09:213 (1,2,3,4) - and hit ctrl-R to make the 1 on the top.

00:48:037 (1,2,3,4) - Here maybe add a 5th beat over the 1 and 3 on the red tick to make it a nice completed back and forth pattern. I think it fits the music also.

01:15:450 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The jump to the 5 feels sort of random and the spacing between the 5,6 and 7 is inconsistent. Perhaps make the 5,6, and 7 a similar spacing to the 2,3, and 4?

01:27:261 (8,9) -
01:29:416 (6,7) - The pattern and spacing between these two patterns is similar but there is a slight rhythmic difference that threw me off. Maybe move the 7 in 01:29:416 (6,7) - to the left a bit to give it more spacing.

I know it might be difficult to hit without lead in, but sliders generally requires less accuracy to hit. for example, a 100 on a note will still counts 100% acc when you hit a slider(unless it's a beat difference :o ).

its meant to follow that very loud whistle in the music, if i change it then it sounds a bit awkward having that huge sound in the middle of a slider

If you look at the video you see that these notes are stacked on top of the pink-purple circles that appear when the characters disappear. it was intentional ^_^

Well, it won't be fully silent, unless I don't know something, which is probably true.......

But other than that, I tried a crescendo-feeling in the beginning.

Besides that, the jump with 01:19:071 (8,1) - does seem a bit mean, so I reversed those sliders. Though it does look unappealing to me.

Honestly 701, I loved your map before the recent updates. I thought the "straight" feel fit very nicely all over the song, especially when mapping the drum line. Not sure what NatsumeRin was talking about honestly, nothing against him of course. I thought it flowed well.

00:15:968 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This part feels bland and unoriginal now compared to the way it was, same with 00:19:243 (2,3,4,5,6,7).
Please consider making it similar to the way it was, it felt so much better in my opinion.

00:57:347 (1,2,1) - Why did you change this to a circle pattern? I thought the more random pattern felt great here with the jump to the bottom on the last slider.

Idk, there's more but don't mind me, I just don't like to see a good map get worse through modding, but it's only my opinion after all. The community's opinion is what will get it ranked I guess.

Honest opinion here: Modding has made your map better, but it isn't really that great of a difference yet. I would agree with natsumerin on this getting a tiny bit more mods from good modders (perhaps the MAT that will check it will do that). Though, I don't really mind the straightness of the sliders. There isn't a huge amount to begin with. Designing an entire map out of them might be overdoing it but this is fine.

00:37:174 (3) - same as 00:05:075 (4)
01:09:761 (2) - imo wiggling slider is difficult for Normal level player to read. So it will be better if you change this to some other easier slider/pattern.

00:16:657 (2,3,4) - the rhythm you used here is a little weird. The drum here is 'X X X XX XX X X' , which does not fit current rhythm. So I suggest you to use rhythm like this: or this: 00:19:416 (2,3,4) - same as above
00:34:071 (5) - the load finish on this note is unexpected. Indeed, there is finish here in music, but since this note is on blue tick, the finish should not be so striking. 00:26:830 (1,2,3) - I suggest you remove these triple for these reasons: First, there are triple at 00:26:140 (2,3,4), it is close to this triple, and the density of note is higher than other parts; Second, there is a jump before these triple, and this makes it flows bad. My suggestion is simply remove 00:26:916 (2).
00:31:830 (8) - this slider nearly completely cover half of 00:32:519 (1), and make it difficult to judge the length of it. To fix this, you can rotate 00:31:830 (8) a little like this: Do same to 00:31:485 (7) to keep symmetry.
00:38:726 (3) - if you change 00:40:106 (5), do same change to this slider.

So I've just heard from 710 that he has lost power due to hurricane sandy, so he cannot do the fixes that he wanted to fix...I do not mind the wait, so to whom it may concern please be patient and wish him all the best!

Haha!! I actually got power around the same time jonathanlfj posted that message about me!
But there are still about ten thousand people in my area without power.

Somehow my computer became slow as hell.....

Updated except the video, I'm not sure how that happened.

Oh wait, somehow the update from popner's and BeatOfIke's mod was messed up......... I fixed it now.
