Hey guys. Been a while since last release, so I wanted to push this one out to get some of the recent bug fixes, and pave the way for getting pp more integrated with the client (ahead of stuff like osz2).

Things added this build (stuff you can see):

Tried to fix some tablet issues people have been experiencing over the years.
Can now change graphics modes even if osu! doesn't display correctly by holding shift at startup.
Bancho status overlay fades during play time.
Add toggle in editor to show/hide video.
I have changed the versioning system to be based on the release date.

There are a few known issues, which will be fixed over the next few days:

If your tablet isn't working correctly anymore, please enabled "Tablet PC" support under Options > Input.
Rank letters on song select screen may not update. This will be fixed soon.
~~Score submission may not work for some users.~~

Please report any issues you have in the support forum (but check first for an existing thread before making a new one!). More updates coming soon!

And i am not the only one.

x220t touch in win8 cp is still not working properly :<
Still have to "double touch" or "slide" in order to get it registered in osu. Same with using a pen

try turning "tablet pc" support on or off (restart osu! after turning off) in Options > Input.

Oh hey, very excited about this update, especially the option to disable video while mapping (since I already get huge fps drops (I frequently drop<10fps when normal running at 120) when in windowed mode) this will definitely be useful.

already tried that, but no success.
it worked fine for the computer with win8 dp though.

If you mean the rank letters, read the first post.
If you mean actual local scores, then nothing has changed with them. Should they not be working, it is unrelated to this release.

Oh, good. I just got a Hidden S on a map, but it still said I only had a regular S.

I wondered what was going on with that, glad I know now.

If in your Options Background Video is default off, "Show Video" in the View tab won't do anything.

what happen with SpunOut mode? i play with spunout mode and my history on profil page still write last song and my playcount still increase :<

On a side note, I don't see why every play when you're logged in doesn't count. Whether it be a non-submitted map or modded map that's already been ranked, or relax etc. I understand that people would complain about it going to total score but it seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to remove all functionality of playing any of the above except for submitting play count. To fix offline seems like you'd need to either do something like create a local file which records plays or just make it so you can't play without being logged in.
