Ulat Bulu Cup 2020

The Ulat Bulu Cup 2020 (UCUP 2020) was an Indonesian double-elimination 2v2 osu! tournament hosted by PatrickFPSGamer. The tournament was restricted to Indonesian-speaking players only. This was the third instalment of the Ulat Bulu Cup.

Ruleset

General rules

1. Ulat Bulu Cup 2020 is a 2v2 osu! tournament.
2. Ulat Bulu Cup 2020 will adopt the double-elimination bracket, this means teams have two chance of losses before getting eliminated.
3. The score system used will be ScoreV2.
4. Matche will ba played under NoFail mod and TeamVs format.
5. Participants must met the following criteria in order their registration to count:

   • Participant's account must be 6 months old or older.
   • Participant did not violate the osu! community rules within the last 12 months.
   • Participant must fill out the provided form.
   • Participant's flag on their profile must be Indonesia. (Exceptions made if the player can show prove their Indonesian citizenship)
   • Participant must be in the UCUP Discord server at least during the running of the tournament.
   • The team's maximum average BWS rank is #3,000

     • Badge-weighted seeding (BWS) is used in this tournament to more accurately seed players and enforce rank restrictions. It works by taking into account the amount of recorded tournament wins (via badges) that a player has in addition to their rank.
6. Formed team must have at least 2 members with a maximum of 3 members.
7. Match scheduling is decided by the organizers. Players may feel free to ask for a reschedule if the given schedule doesn't work for them.

Stage regulations

1. There are five stages to this tournament: Group Stage, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals, and Grand Finals.
2. Following are the winning conditions for each stage:

   • Group Stage: Best-of-11 (first to 6 points)
   • Quarterfinals and Semifinals: Best-of-13 (first to 7 points)
   • Finals and Grand Finals: Best-of-15 (first to 8 points)
3. Teams are allowed to ban two maps in any stages.
4. Teams are not allowed to pick map within the same bracket back-to-back (e.g. picking Hidden bracket twice).
5. FreeMod will be a bracket with intention players can select between Hidden or HardRock or both, it's mandatory that each team member use different mod during the match (e.g. Player 1 is playing with Hidden, Player 2 is playing with HardRock).

Group stage details

1. Group Stage will be held with the target of 20 teams make it through the cutoff, and will be splitted into 4 groups of 5.
2. Group Stage will have a Best-of-11 winning condition.
3. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage on the winner's bracket and the next 2 teams will advance to the knockout stage on the loser's bracket.
4. Banning system is the same referring to the one in the stage regulations section.

Knockout stage details

1. Knockout stage will be held after the results from Group Stage have been determined.
2. Knockout stage will adopt the double-elimination bracket. This means teams have two chance of losses before getting eliminated.
