Catch French Dual Tournament

The Catch French Dual Tournament (CFDT) was a French double-elimination 2v2 osu!catch tournament hosted by Hecatia15 and _yosh. Teams consisted of two players, where the first player was ranked between #100 and #799, and the latter was ranked between #800 and #2,999. It was the first instalment of the Catch French Dual Tournament and part of the Catch French Cup series.

Qualifiers match results are unavailable, due to lack of documentation.

Ruleset

General rules

1. A valid team formation will be:

   • A participant with rank range between #100 and #799
   • A participant with rank range between #800 and #2,999
2. The Score System used will be Score V2.
3. Failed scores count, with that NoFail will be enforced for everyone
4. If team can't attend within the span of 10 minutes, the other team will win by default.
5. Regarding map bans, the amount of map should be banned are as follows:

   • In the Quarterfinals and Semifinals, each team will ban 1 map per match
   • In the Finals and Grand Finals, each team will ban 2 maps per match
6. Teams are allowed to submit their warmup which must not exceed the 4:00 mark.
7. Teams will do !roll at the start of the match to determine the order of who picks and bann first.

   • Team with higher roll will pick first and bann second
   • Team with lower roll will bann first and pick second
8. Even in a tournament scene osu! is still a game. Please respect each other to everyone, be friendly, and fair play.
9. Catch French Dual Tournament will use double-elimination bracket, which means that there will be a loser's bracket.
10. Any player with French flag can participate in the tournament.
11. The same team is not allowed to ban or the same mod twice in a row (e.g. banning two HardRock maps).
12. Hidden mod is combineable with HardRock and DoubleTime mod.
13. The Tiebreaker can be played under NoMod or Hidden.

Winning conditions

1. Quarterfinals: Best-of-9 (first to 5 points)
2. Semifinals: Best-of-11 (first to 6 points)
3. Finals and Grand Finals: Best-of-13 (first to 7 points)
