Indonesian Taiko Showdown

IDTS logo

The Indonesian Taiko Showdown (IDTS) was a 1v1 Indonesian double elimination osu!taiko tournament hosted by fajar13k. It was the first instalment of the Asian-Oceanian Taiko Showdown.

Ruleset

General rules

  1. Tournament was opened for all ranks as long as the participants have Indonesian Flag in their osu! profile.
  2. Tournament used double-elimination bracket.
  3. Tournament's spot was limited to first 24 participants to register.
  4. Any misbehaved behaviour towards other participants or tournament staff would get punished by eliminated from the tournament. (Rules also applied for tournament staff)

Match instructions

  1. Indonesian Taiko Showdown was a one-on-one osu!taiko match.
  2. Participant with most score in a match, wins the round.
  3. Mappools consist of: 6 NoMod, 2 HardRock, 2 Hidden, 2 DoubleTime, 3 FreeMod, and 1 Tiebreaker.
  4. Usage of Nightcore could be applied if both participants agree to use it.
  5. Participants might use Hidden, HardRock, or NoMod if the FreeMod map was picked.
  6. Each participant might ban up to one map per match.
  7. Each participant might pick one warmup before the match start
    • The warmup cannot exceed 5 minute mark.
  8. roll will determine which participant would pick the first map to play.
  9. Participant with lower roll score, would start banning first.
  10. If a participant didn't show up within 10 minutes of the start time, the enemy won by default.
  11. If both participants fail to finish a map, point will be given to the participant who had the higher score.
  12. If both participants had exact same score on a map, that map would be played again without any points given before.

Winning conditions

  1. In Group Stage, you need to win 4 beatmaps to win a match. (Best-of-7)
  2. In the Round of 16 and the Quarterfinals, you need to win 5 beatmaps to win a match. (Best-of-9)
  3. In Semifinals and Finals, you need to win 6 beatmaps to win a match. (Best-of-11)
  4. In the Grand Finals, you need to win 7 beatmaps to win a match. (Best-of-13)
