Mi cuenta principal Phenomz estuvo baneada desde el 9 de noviembre de 2013 hasta el 15 de mayo de 2016, y la vaina fue así.

Alrededor de noviembre de 2013 se llevó a cabo la osu! world cup 2013. Se supone que yo sería uno de los jugadores seleccionados para jugar en el team de Venezuela, pero debido al supuesto mal estado que tenía mi cuenta en ese entonces, mi petición de participar fue rechazada. (nunca me quisieron decir directamente la razón de por qué no me dejaron jugar, aunque si tuviera que adivinar diría que fue por boostear/multiaccount y compartir cuentas.)

El capitán del equipo, -Pikachu-, no iba a poder participar en el primer match en la bracket Best Of 16 contra Indonesia, así que surgió la gran idea, "¿qué tal si Phenomz juega en la cuenta de Pikachu?", ambos accedimos, cosa que no debimos hacer.

El match tomó lugar el 8 de noviembre de 2013, la persona jugando en el recuadro de -Pikachu- era yo. Jugué e hice mi parte, en cierto momento del stream los narradores dijeron "Pikachu carrying the Venezuela team" (traduce: Pikachu liderando el equipo de Venezuela) lo cual dio entender que mi participación fue importante, al menos. Eso influyó en que luego del problema, nadie de la comunidad se molestara conmigo por haber hecho tal tontería.

El 9 de noviembre mi cuenta Phenomz- fue baneada, junto con la cuenta de -Pikachu-. El día anterior, luego de terminar el match de la owc, hice unos cuantos scores en la cuenta de -Pikachu-, no pensaba lo que hacía, alguno fue más descarado que otro como por ejemplo este score de Tatsh - IMAGE -MATERIAL- <Version 0> [Scorpiour] el cual Pikachu para ese entonces no era capaz de hacer. Hasta ahí todo era predecible, los admins y organizadores de la world cup se dieron cuenta de qué hicimos (hasta el día de hoy asumo que fue culpa mía) y nos banearon a ambos. El problema viene cuando a Pikachu le dan su cuenta en menos de 3 o 4 meses, y a mí no me devuelven la mía. Pedí explicación y no recibí respuesta así que a medida que pasaba el tiempo, me crearía una cuenta tras otra cuenta para jugar online, mientras seguía pidiendo por correos electrónicos instrucciones y clemencia por parte del staff para recuperar mi cuenta. Gran error.

Acumulé una cantidad de cuentas que seguramente superó las 10, y eso se mantuvo hasta Noviembre del 2015 cuando decidí parar, e intentar por última vez solucionar las cosas de manera "legal". Jugaba osu! en dos servidores alternativos que no estoy seguro de poder mencionar aquí así que no lo haré, y pasé así 6 meses, por cuenta propia, sin que me dijeran nada. Fueron 6 meses de no cometer ninguna infracción, ofensa ni acción contra las reglas, y, comenzando mayo de 2016 escribí un largo correo electrónico explicando detalle a detalle qué había hecho, qué cuentas había creado y, sobre todo, disculpándome.

El 15 de mayo fue el día en el que recibí este correo en el cual me decían que habían aceptado mi apelación. Estaré eternamente agradecido con el admin que me acompañó durante el proceso del desbaneo y quien lo hizo posible. No sé tu nombre, pero gracias. Fue un día bastante feliz para mí y para la comunidad de osu! Venezuela, ese día empecé a rankear de una vez, subí 1000pp diarios hasta llegar a 5000pp. Agradezco todo el apoyo que me dieron mis amigos durante y después de todo el proceso del ban y unban, agradezco tanto a aquellos con quienes hoy en día trato, como a aquellos con quienes ya no cruzo palabras, ustedes saben quiénes son y lo mucho que significó su apoyo para mí en ese entonces.

De ahí viene por qué con menos de 10k de playcount ya tenía 6000pp. Si llegaste hasta este punto, gracias por haber leído~

My main account Phenomz was banned from November 9th, 2013 to May 15th, 2016. Things were like this:

Around November 2013, the osu! world cup 2013 took place. I was supposed to play for the Venezuela team, but due to the supposedly bad state of my account at the time, my application was denied by the tournament staff. (they never told me directly what was the reason behind that, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was due to boosting/multiaccounting and account sharing.)

Our team's captain, -Pikachu-, wasn't going to be able to play the first mach of the BO16 bracket against Indonesia, so the "great" idea came up, "why doesn't Phenomz play in Pikachu's account instead?", we both agreed, we shouldn't have done such thing.

The match took place in November 8th, 2013. I was the person playing in -Pikachu-'s screen. I played and I did my part, in a certain moment of the stream the casters shouted "Pikachu carrying the Venezuela team", which meant that my participation was important in some way, at least. That influenced that after the ban issue, nobody in the venezuelan community would bother me for having done such nonsense.

On November 9th, my account Phenomz- was banned, altogether with -Pikachu-'s account. The previous day I did a few scores in -Pikachu-'s account after the owc match was over, I didn't think about what I was doing, some were more blatant than others, like this Tatsh - IMAGE -MATERIAL- <Version 0> [Scorpiour] score, for example, which -Pikachu- was unable to do or replicate at that time. Until then, everything was predictable, the admins and staff from the tournament found out what we did (to this day I keep saying it was my fault) and they banned us both. The problem was, Pikachu got his account back in less than 3~4 months, and I didn't get mine back. I asked for an explanation and I didn't get any answer so, as time went by, I'd create one after another accounts in order to play online, while I was still asking for steps to recover my account via email. Huge mistake.

I created as many accounts as I could, surely reaching over 10 accounts made, and that kept going until November 2015 when I decided to stop, and try for a last time to sort things out the "right" way. I still played osu! online in two alternative servers which I'm not sure I'm able to mention here so I won't. I spent 6 months doing that, by myself, without a single word from the staff. Those were 6 months of no infringements, offense against the rules, and, at the beginning of May 2016 I wrote a long letter via email to the staff with a full run-down of my actions telling every detail I could about what I had done, which accounts I had made, and of course, apologizing.

May 15th of 2016, was the day that I received this email which said that my appeal was accepted. I'll be eternally grateful to the admin who accompanied me during the whole unban process, and who made it possible. I don't exactly know your name, but thank you. It was a really happy day for me and for the venezuelan osu! community. I started ranking right off the bat, I did a daily 1000pp run for 5 days until reaching 5000pp. I appreciate all the support my friends gave me during and after the entire process of my ban and unban, and I thank those whom I treat today, as well as those who I do not. You guys know who you are and how much your support meant to me at that time.
