I think both ways work because there is a slight "r" vocal on a blue tick. Regardless, because 01:27:405 (1,2,3) - are spaced by 3/4, I would prefer not to have a visually similar spacing between 01:28:151 (3,5) - which would be 1/2. I'd rather have it 1/4 to make it clearer.
But remapped the whole diff anyway
I reduced 01:30:420 (6,7,8,9) a little. The spacing overall is indeed higher in this final chorus but it is higher in all upper diffs. I think it should be fine.
I was considering to add it on 00:54:727 initially but ended up omitting it to emphasize a held sound on 00:54:601. Open for reconsideration if others mention.
I don't really start sliders on non-white ticks in either diff in these places. I could add filler circles but I think it should be fine to have something different compared to upper diffs. 1/2 work cuz calmer part and contrast with chorus
This would break the NC consistency and I'm not really emphasizing them like in top diff. I guess slightly denser rhythm would support your suggestion too, and I think both ways are valid, so if anyone else points this out, I'll consider.
It would break the consistency of my NCs (every big white tick). Both options are probably valid but I prefer consistency, especially since I don't really treat synths special in this diffs
I think multi-reverse fits the repetitive sounds + I don't need this to be as active as it's a calmer non-vocal part.
For 00:25:442 (5), you probably meant a circle on 00:25:316 but not having it makes the transition to the next pattern better - i.e., the next vocal phrase is not as blend in with rest of the objects. I did it the same in other places too like 00:17:341 (5,6,7) -
This would make a more passive synth sound (00:11:771) stand out more than the dominant one (00:11:645). The dominant is covered by a slider tail due to that slider following vocals which is the priority.
This spacing persists throughout the diff (in kiais primarily, like 00:31:658 (1,2,3,4)). It's more of a concept and I think adding more NCs would necessitate even more NCs and make it even harder to read.
I see your point but I think it should be fine. The players will expect to hold for the full 1/2 beat in these places and the sliders are slow enough for the players to be able to read the reverse at this level.
The reason 00:56:879 (3) is 1/16 is because I want it to have a slightly larger gap between 3 and 4, almost as if (3) was a single-tappable circle with a complementary tail. I think the sound is different and supports this idea. If it doesn't cause issues in playing, should be fine.
I agree that the timing could be more precise at those spots. I think though there is no need for that many red lines. I re-timed those places myself by keeping the minimum possible number of timing points.
It's not strictly about visuals, it's about reusing similar note structures to represent similar sounds. This does mean that visuals are automatically improved due to more structure/order.
Would create a counter-representation since 00:52:644 (4) is a vocal with a kickdrum. So (3) would feel too strong compared to (4). But a circle at 00:52:566 works
