very much intentional cuz 1. i thought it was really funny and 2. they're background vocals anyway mapping them just feels plain weird
ill add this double tho 00:07:387 (6,7) that should make it feel less sudden
seems good to me, i left 1 post on discussion for that diff but otherwise i think it can settle the spread concern. thank you for fixing it so quickly owob
https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2294787/discussion/-/generalAll#/4862804/12881055 @addi_q not necessarily, vetos prior to that change have used the same wording. before the change however, there was less of an incentive to push these kinds of sets as you could get warnings if the evaluators thought there were issues with your nominations, even without a veto or other dq being posted. example being [the one that triggered the change](https://bn.mappersguild.com/message?eval=6615762f68b7ea0751c9eed9) (was initially a map quality warning for pika girl)
> I think the NAT needs to reach a consensus and put out a statement of some sort (...)
@addi_q the big issue is [they really can't](https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/1930032?n=1) (UNLESS a veto is placed like in this case)
some of yall are replying to "i like pancakes" with "so you hate waffles"
vetoes *exist* to settle subjective concerns and the mapper has expressed their interest in resolving it with dada already so u need to chill
the instrumental is also still really sparse up until the chorus begins so i think building emphasis on that is cool (with the 1/2 gap after that slider)
while having 01:13:944 as a clickable would be ok, imo the approach i took with increasing spacing & sv (a "fake feeling" of sorts) on 01:13:753 (4) works quite well as is
+1 dakiwii's response https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2315221/discussion/4955014/general#/4853349/12854115
additionally i think the way things are pointed out as issues are ignoring the core factor of the mapper choosing to represent an overall synth line starting at 00:15:702, and not just in one way. for example you pointed out a note in both 00:20:125 (1,2,3,4,5,6) and 00:20:756 (1,2,3,4,5) where the angle & spacing of the burst are used to emphasize pitch changes in the synth; *not* solely focusing on the rhythm
similarly 00:16:887 -> you mentioned a missing note for the hi-hat here but this is not what he's focusing on, here the gap is used to emphasize the synth dropping at that time then going back up at 00:16:966
doing 1:1 rhythm representation would *actually hurt* the overall feeling of the map imo, besides just going against mapper's intent
