Open to tackle an issue discussed in IRC. In particular, there is some conflict with my conceptual expressions of certain sound groups in my charting like snares versus synths.
Example of Snare / Synth overlap:
00:23:435 - 00:23:593 ;
00:25:014 - 00:25:172 ;
00:33:541 - 00:33:698 ;
00:47:435 - 00:47:593 ;
etc. - there is re-occurrences throughout the chart
Can use some ideas for how to handle it.
It also exists in "Insane" - 1964319#3690042 ticket.
This might also be subjective / low-priority, but if there is a clean way to handle it I'd take it to balance things out in these moments.
with release of new IIDX OST, lossless format of source music is now accessible so no longer need for potato mp3

02:33:047 (153047|1,153047|0) - could be promoted to triple for cymbal emphasis
it would also be consistent with earlier 00:28:962 (28962|1,28962|3,29103|0,29103|3,29103|2)
01:38:399 (98399|0,98399|3,98399|2) - it probably should be double, if you are going to be consistent with the patterning rules such as 01:39:244 (99244|1,99244|0) ; 01:39:807 (99807|3,99807|0) ; 01:40:652 (100652|3,100652|2) - or alternatively promote these other to triple, but I can see that as overkill / over-mapping
The other thought is to just remove the starting short synth that goes with the long synths, but I think this worsens the expression, i.e. 00:24:383 (24383|2) ; 00:34:488 (34488|2) ; 01:24:856 (84856|1) ; 01:25:488 (85488|2)
I don't know, I think I'd keep as-is so there is consistency between the synth sections, not necessarily for consistency within the bookmarked slices.
I'm not sure about this, because this was not really a problem at 01:24:856 and 01:25:488 which are creating flagpole with the long synths layered with short synths. Also 00:24:067 - 00:24:698 have long synths which are not featured in 00:36:225 - 00:36:698, so it does not necessarily have to be consistent with each other for variety reason.
