Myxo's Modding History

can't really make it work without making the patterns worse so i will keep it
yep i changed the spacing and angles to make it a bit more spicy
prefer to keep the consistent spacing for 1/4
increased AR and OD to 8.9
made it a bit wigglier, mostly not in the places you suggested tho
skipped cus no melody
white tick is intentionally skipped so 01:15:140 - and 01:15:399 - get more emphasis. but the snap is wrong currently so i fixed it

yes
i mean i also find super low sv annoying to play on low diffs and always have, but there's differing opinions on this for sure. on C/S sliders it's more of a walk -> standstill -> walk in opposite direction which feels more natural than alternating between walking in the same direction and standstills
they are tap walks tho? like holding the arrow down will lead to overshooting, that's less comfortable than tap dashes
01:58:644 (1) - same here and this one is more extreme. i think you could make it 1.0x and use some curves if space is an issue
some examples: 00:01:536 (2,3) - would tone it down to a dash, especially since it has an antiflow-dash afterwards 00:02:259 (1,2,3) - would make these clearer walks (like 00:06:596 (1,2,3,4) -) 00:10:572 (4,1,2) - would get rid of one or both of these hdashes
agreed
01:13:463 (10,11,12) - more strongly i feel like these shouldn't be all hdashes, the sounds aren't particularly intense here
01:10:210 (5,6,7) - btw this one is between 1/3 and 1/4 so i wouldn't mind either snap here personally, would be nice to make it consistent with other diffs tho if possible
i think high AR compared to density is fine but would consider ~9.6. backed by opinion from someone who can actually play the diff: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1096003898789072958/1102357787679399976/image.png
after lots of consideration i think i'll keep it as-is, i feel like the standstills are harder than the previous pattern because standstill into continued movement in the same direction is a little more awkward flow. otherwise i'll just swap the patterns around if anyone else thinks this is an issue
prefer to keep it, since 00:54:883 (1,2) - is following the instrument rather than vocals here which doesn't play at 00:52:993 (1,2) -. i feel like it's staccato so better represented by circles
fixed
got rid of the standstill. keeping the rhythm as-is for the same reason as previous point. the note being earlier than the red tick is clearly audible imo, so 1/4 is the best snap to represent it
i think for vocal snaps it is not important to be 100% accurate. it sounds very intended to be sung on 1/4 here and it sounds good while playing, so i don't want to make the rhythm more complicated for now
the reason why it's different in the other kiais is because those have 1/2-snares. i think having the dash towards the "no" is quite hard here, but changed for now, i like the pattern
i'm following the triple snares with the 1/2-stack 00:44:725 (4,5,6) - which is done throughout the entire map, and is missing from the other places in the kiai
i think the rhythm change is enough for the change, if i put dash here it would be the exact same pattern as usual. having no dash shows the lower intensity of this downbeat + section well imo. the third timestamp already has a dash
fixed both
xD
done
reverted back and made the spinner shorter instead, i think it's a cooler pattern and i don't like having a dash towards the edge of the playfield immediately
it's not that far to the side so i think there is no issue
old shape is much better cus it's symmetrical and starts with standstill, reverting
i think you could make the 30% sections into 50% since the song isn't notable quieter in those parts, just cus there are no vocals also 01:45:690 - being 30% seems to be a mistake and salad is missing the volume changes on the last spinner
it's still all S:C1
it's for resetting the cymbals in nightcore mod (every 2 measures) :)

i already posted it for u before https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/1647383/discussion/3362595/timeline#/3342573 but andrew doesnt wanna apply it
not fixed
sure
yes
prefer to keep it since i'm gradually building up density here, as the song gets more intense

yes
most of the 1/4 is in the music but you're right that (4) isn't in each case, so removed them and rearranged the patterns
i think it's fine honestly, very hittable for me as noob overdose player :D
i originally used no kiai and some gder added it. i like the kiai tho so made it consistent in all diffs
that is almost correct, but 00:13:340 - to 00:16:465 - has some notes off by more than ~10ms, so try this timing instead (redlines only): 1465,625,4,2,0,40,1,0 13340,618.556701030928,4,2,0,40,1,0 14576,612.244897959184,4,2,0,40,1,0 15188,638.297872340426,4,2,0,40,1,0 16465,625,4,2,0,40,1,0 23965,425.531914893617,4,1,0,40,1,0
