i was tasked with reviewing the timing of the "intro", and looked at the period between 00:34:354 and 01:10:201. here are my adjustments:
old timing:
15,373.250388802488,69,2,2,20,1,8
34354,373.250388802488,4,2,2,40,1,0
58239,373.831775700934,4,2,2,40,1,0
70201,372.670807453416,4,2,2,30,1,0
new timing:
15,373.250388802488,69,2,2,20,1,8
34354,373.459479646458,4,2,2,40,1,0
67221,361.44578313253,4,2,2,40,1,0
68711,375,4,2,2,5,1,0
70201,372.670807453416,4,2,2,30,1,0
i replaced the 160.75 and 160.5 timing points with just one 160.66 because it sounds more accurate to what the song actually recorded at. also fixed the ending of this section which speeds up (???). now everything in this section should fall between ~-2ms.
a lot of the hitobjects in this section in the old timing are coming in early. this should adjust for that.
yeah erm if theres anything else beyond this point lmk i did not look anyways nice map furrniks
hi, this is a veto :tf:
i want to raise an issue related to general offset throughout the map before it is played in the grand finals.
all the timing points before 02:58:645 are coming in significantly early.
473,333.333333333333,4,2,1,35,1,0 is about 8-10ms early.
123305,400,4,2,4,55,1,0 and 123705,400,4,3,4,55,1,0 are both ~5ms early.
also some general downbeat recognition errors in some of these places.
new timing to account for these issues:
0,333.333333333333,4,2,1,35,1,0
647,333.333333333333,4,2,1,35,1,0
1315,333.333333333333,4,2,1,35,1,0
123310,400,4,2,4,55,1,0
124110,400,4,2,4,55,1,0
136510,400,4,2,4,55,1,0
178645,333.333333333333,4,2,1,40,1,0
all the instrumental breaks (00:00:028, 01:23:553, 03:12:680, 04:36:169, 06:25:290) throughout the map arent timed correctly. the first beat in each break is significantly earlier than the others, and when you place a timing point on that first beat and adjust the BPM to match the last beat in the break, it causes all the intermediate beats to come in too early. this is more noticeable right after the first beat (second beat is ~35ms early), but as the beats progress toward the end of the sample, they get closer to being on time. i reckon you should ignore the first beat as a rhythmic outlier and focus on making the second beat line up with the last beat in the sample (which turns out makes the bpm exactly 143).
no reason why you need to have different bpms for these samples either since theyre all the same sample.
general offset issues in the verses as well, i believe youre coming in early for most of them.
and the timing point at 06:25:290 is in 5/4 for some reason.
revised timing to address these issues:
58,419.58041958042,4,2,0,60,1,0
6771,400,4,3,0,60,1,0
83569,419.58041958042,4,3,0,60,1,0
90282,400,4,3,0,60,1,0
192696,419.58041958042,4,3,0,60,1,0
199393,400,4,3,0,60,1,0
276203,419.58041958042,4,3,0,60,1,0
282904,400,4,3,0,60,1,0
385312,419.58041958042,4,3,0,60,1,0
id blame it on tokiwa's production but at a certain point early in the map the song becomes 10-15ms delayed from the original timing point at 611 offset, and from a quick listen it sounds like the delay varies throughout the whole song.
adding a new timing point at 46,140 is a good starting point to catch more errors, or at least solves a decent chunk of the offset related issues.
06:14:151 (3) - this is on a 1/8. i think it should be on a blue tick with a muted sliderend.
