re1zzzzze's Modding History

remap is done yippee
remapped and fixed
remapped and fixed (except changing the sv, it'd be a pain redoing the sliders...)
remapped and fixed
remapped and fixed
done
fixed, is now ar9.3 od9.2
i decided to map it like this for contrast/emphasis, i also haven't stacked any notes with 1/1 gaps between them in the entire map. either way it should be easy enough to read for an insane
i don't really like the flow of having a reverse arrow there, and also i think that section's rhythm is not too difficult for an insane
i see what you mean but i chose to map it this way so that 00:58:763 (7) and 00:59:816 (2) stack nicely
changed the rhythm to be easier/simpler
you've got a good point, but honestly i can't really be bothered remapping the whole thing unless it's necessary (to get ranked or loved or whatever), also i think that the "constant" spacing is kind of coherent because i decided to express changes in intensity in the clickable rhythm rather than spacing changes
made it have more intuitive flow so it's easier to read, but i didn't change the spacing a lot since the sliders are carefully positioned to have consistent visual spacing and neat overlaps
will adjust this asap, ty
fixed, ty for the feedback!
while i do get where you're coming from, i feel like the high density is justified as it's during the kiai and not particularly large in spacing
i do see where you're coming from, but i chose to put a circle instead of 1/2 slider as the sounds falling on the red ticks in these sections are a bit less intense and i also wanted to keep the rhythm density appropriate given the overall music intensity in this section.
i chose to express the rhythm there with a 3/4 repeat slider to emphasize the dominant part of the music (the melody) whilst keeping the rhythm complexity suitable for an insane difficulty. if i were to express the beats landing on the 1/2 beats it would become unnecessarily dense imo.
ty!
how do i downvote a comment
i made the jumps at 00:37:082 (7,8,9) relatively highly spaced to reflect the contrasting nature of the two cymbal sounds and to have 8 and 1 stacked. i will reduce the spacing between 00:38:989 (4) and 00:40:550 (1) though.
I don't think changing it is justified as i would think that anyone that misses on the jumps after would be due to being distracted, rather than a readability issue. The buzz sliders don't really obstruct reading the jumps in my opinion.
i originally intended to extend this, but it was shortened as a buffer so people don't sliderbreak too easily on this.
good idea, but i will keep it a circle for now to contrast against the sliders, and for aesthetic purposes
fixed the flow of these jumps
will nerf this diffspike soon
removed the nc at 01:21:191
restructured this section with lower spacing between 00:56:261 (3,4) .
applied
i restacked them in a way to emphasize the strong vocals
applied
i agree with caps on how it would make the movement worse, so i'll leave it as it is
i do admit i might have gone overboard with the spacing of the end jumps, but this wasn't meant to be a complete masterpiece of a map, and i don't really feel like fixing it now, at least until the set is going for rank, if it does. i'll take that advice into account for my future maps though.
same at 01:28:360
same at 00:16:871
oops forgot to change hitsound volume, will do that soon
01:21:840 (1) - this slider has the same issue
01:22:290 (1) - same here
00:22:290 (1) - same here. also i don't really feel like these are a big problem, they do play fairly well as they currently are.
good point, i'll try and use the corners better when mapping the rest of the map
it's a reverse slider to emphasize the jumps at 00:57:690 (1,2,3), and to be consistent with 00:47:640 (6). (resolve pls)
NC'd, also NC'd 00:48:090 for consistency. (resolve pls)
for the first kiai part (before the 1-2 spam), i have a new combo every 8 beats except at 00:52:290 and 01:01:890 to emphasize jumps. changing 00:44:940 (6) to a NC would make it inconsistent with 00:54:540 (6) and make NCs a bit too common in this section tbh. (edit: resolve pls)
also you have 2 identical tags in the tags of the map
00:43:590 (1) - same here
00:22:866 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - same
you should post this kind of feedback in either the timeline or general (this difficulty) sections, not general (all difficulties) fyi
i mapped most of the section between 00:43:791 and 00:54:458 with low spacing, but included higher spacing bits such as 00:45:625 (5,1,2,3,4,1) and the 2 timestamps you pointed out for emphasis. i don't think the higher spacing is unreasonable, considering this is an insane diff, and the spacing is not that high compared to the rest of the map. when playing the map, the spacing in this part doesn't feel jarring/extremely different imo. in addition, if i lowered the spacing significantly, it might start becoming visually cluttered since more objects will be crammed into a smaller space on the playfield.
good advice, will try and leave some gaps in the timeline in that part
good point, will try and reduce the spacing of those notes
