yukinasimp's Modding History

my hs file is on my other computer oopsies will fix when I'm on it in a couple days
removed a lot of the additive triples, kept some 1/4 patterns on some strong drums and cymbals that I still feel are important ex. 00:24:971 (6) - , 00:27:433 (4,5,6) -, etc. (basically whatever's still in the map currently, but if there's any more that seem removable feel free to reopen)
yep, nerfed 01:03:432 (3,4) - to dash and 01:03:894 (5,6) - to walk
yep, extended 00:46:971 (3) - to 1/2 slider since the missing note felt awkward and made 00:46:971 (3,1) - hdash
made 00:15:279 (1) - hdash and 00:17:740 (1) - dash did the same for 01:34:048 (1) - and 01:36:509 (1) - since it's the same part of the song
fixed by moving some patterns within 00:12:202 (1,2,1,2,3,4,5) -
think I caught all the 2.3x and nerfed them to 2.2x
just kidding added note here for https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2336450/discussion/5017060/general#/4885628
made 01:36:201 (4,1) - a dash, did the same for 00:17:432 (4,1) - since it's the same part of the song
made 01:27:279 (2) - and 01:32:202 (2) - 1/2 sliders and skipped over 01:27:586 and 01:32:510
moved 01:25:740 (2,3) - to the left so it flows into 01:26:663 (4,1) -
turned 00:48:971 (3) - into 1/2
moved 00:45:125 (2,3,4,5) - to the left of 00:44:817 (1) -
added note at 00:35:894 (1) - and 1/1 slider at 00:36:048 (2) - since it's also like this in the cup now
changed this section so that the dashes only fall on downbeats
moved 00:20:817 (2,3) - over 1/2 to fit the vocals
was trying to match pitch with density like in the first part with 1/1 for 00:05:433 (1) - and 1/2 for 00:06:356 (1) - because it increase pitch, so similar idea with 1/2 for 00:07:894 (1) - and 1/1 for 00:08:817 (1) - since it's decreasing pitch if that makes sense - gonna keep it for now but I can always change it to 1/2 if necessary
ctrl+shift+f'd 00:48:971 (2) - into 1/2 notes
yep applied the suggestion
changed rhythm to your suggestion
looking back at this personally I think it's fine as a buildup, it's a lot more flowy than the kiai and for the reasons I already said in the comment above, so resolving for now
00:03:192 - to 00:24:062 - I think the density here is fine; it is a pretty intense part of the song, a lot of the 1/2 follows the piano which is important and there's 2/1 sliders separating the 1/2 sections 00:24:062 - to 00:34:497 - removed a lot of 1/2 notes following vocals, nerfed spacing from 1.2x to 1.0x (not that much of a difference but it's a calmer part) 00:34:497 - to 00:44:931 - removed some 1/2 notes following vocals, replaced with 1/1 sliders 00:44:931 - to 00:55:366 - although dense with 1/2, I don't want to remove anything since all the notes fall on important piano/vocals, plus there's a lot of breaks in between the 1/2 00:55:366 - to 01:05:801 - removed some 1/2 notes following vocals, replaced with 1/1 sliders
applied both
removed 03:26:311 (3) -
nerfed 02:55:053 (7,8) - and 03:50:214 (3,4) - to 1.2x
yep applied
yep understandable, I thought it might be a problem when I was creating this diff but figured it represented the song and vocals well so I left it. I still think 01:41:118 (1) - is more intense than 01:44:214 (1) - (and the other instances) simply because it is held for longer, so I nerfed the sv to 1.5x and made these sliders into C shapes instead so it's much less awkward and walkable
from 01:16:343 - to 01:28:731 - made walks 1.2x, dashes 1.6x, and added a couple more dashes from 01:28:731 - to 01:41:118 - since it's a little stronger than the previous cooldown, made walks 1.3x and dashes 1.7x (with 1.3x its a little edgy to walk; I think most would read it as a dash and the 1.7x dashes are on stronger vocals so I think it fits anyways, could always nerf it back to 1.2x if necessary) similar patterning/reasoning for 02:05:892 - to 02:30:666 -
went through the map and changed a few patterns from anti-flow to flow, I think there's a good balance now but feel free to re-open if there needs to be more changes
made them both horizontal and flow into the next object
for 01:40:924 (6,7,1) - , 02:30:472 (6,7,1) - , 02:36:666 (6,7,1) - made the 1/4 flow into the slider and split the 1/4 into 2 1.5x circles
made it 1.6x for consistency with 02:30:279 (5,6) -
nerfed both to 1.6x
made 00:40:537 (7) - and 00:46:731 (7) - 2 notes with 1.2x
think I did something similar, moved 00:36:860 (2) - closer into the right so 00:36:666 (1,2) - aren't hypers
made all the 1/1 gaps in this section 1.4x to make the dash more clear
just made them all walks at 1.0x for consistency
nerfed sections before the kiai to be dashes every 2 measures as for patterns like these in the kiai 01:08:410 (1,2,1,2,3) - removed the dash from 01:08:410 (1,2) - but kept the others since it is the most intense part and gives contrast from the rest of the kiai like in the platter and above. if that's still too dash heavy then reopen
applied
reminder to self: fixed the inconsistency at 01:07:594 (2,3) -
I dunno, unlike the platter I think this kiai is much more intense because there is more hdash density as well as the increased spacing of some hdashes to give more emphasis (ex. 01:06:779 (4,1) - , 01:09:714 (1,2,3,4) - ). I'll leave this open for now and think about it when I have more time
made some dashes into walks, mainly the triple 1/2 slider section that follows vocals (ex. 00:56:997 (2,3,4) - ). would like to keep the hdashes because they fall on finish hs, so I believe they fit
nerfed to 1.8x
impossible for me to make this an hdash by myself, ill talk to roze about it
oh wtf
https://media1.tenor.com/m/fAIWJErUTI8AAAAC/bochi-bochi-the-rock.gif
skill issue just use difficulty adjust
got some playtests I think most other patterns are fine at 1.7x but nerfed 01:08:410 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - and 01:18:844 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - to 1.6x
fixed all unsnapped sliderends
