removed a lot of the additive triples, kept some 1/4 patterns on some strong drums and cymbals that I still feel are important ex. 00:24:971 (6) - , 00:27:433 (4,5,6) -, etc. (basically whatever's still in the map currently, but if there's any more that seem removable feel free to reopen)
was trying to match pitch with density like in the first part with 1/1 for 00:05:433 (1) - and 1/2 for 00:06:356 (1) - because it increase pitch, so similar idea with 1/2 for 00:07:894 (1) - and 1/1 for 00:08:817 (1) - since it's decreasing pitch if that makes sense - gonna keep it for now but I can always change it to 1/2 if necessary
looking back at this personally I think it's fine as a buildup, it's a lot more flowy than the kiai and for the reasons I already said in the comment above, so resolving for now
00:03:192 - to 00:24:062 - I think the density here is fine; it is a pretty intense part of the song, a lot of the 1/2 follows the piano which is important and there's 2/1 sliders separating the 1/2 sections
00:24:062 - to 00:34:497 - removed a lot of 1/2 notes following vocals, nerfed spacing from 1.2x to 1.0x (not that much of a difference but it's a calmer part)
00:34:497 - to 00:44:931 - removed some 1/2 notes following vocals, replaced with 1/1 sliders
00:44:931 - to 00:55:366 - although dense with 1/2, I don't want to remove anything since all the notes fall on important piano/vocals, plus there's a lot of breaks in between the 1/2
00:55:366 - to 01:05:801 - removed some 1/2 notes following vocals, replaced with 1/1 sliders
yep understandable, I thought it might be a problem when I was creating this diff but figured it represented the song and vocals well so I left it. I still think 01:41:118 (1) - is more intense than 01:44:214 (1) - (and the other instances) simply because it is held for longer, so I nerfed the sv to 1.5x and made these sliders into C shapes instead so it's much less awkward and walkable
from 01:16:343 - to 01:28:731 - made walks 1.2x, dashes 1.6x, and added a couple more dashes
from 01:28:731 - to 01:41:118 - since it's a little stronger than the previous cooldown, made walks 1.3x and dashes 1.7x (with 1.3x its a little edgy to walk; I think most would read it as a dash and the 1.7x dashes are on stronger vocals so I think it fits anyways, could always nerf it back to 1.2x if necessary)
similar patterning/reasoning for 02:05:892 - to 02:30:666 -
went through the map and changed a few patterns from anti-flow to flow, I think there's a good balance now but feel free to re-open if there needs to be more changes
nerfed sections before the kiai to be dashes every 2 measures
as for patterns like these in the kiai 01:08:410 (1,2,1,2,3) - removed the dash from 01:08:410 (1,2) - but kept the others since it is the most intense part and gives contrast from the rest of the kiai like in the platter and above. if that's still too dash heavy then reopen
I dunno, unlike the platter I think this kiai is much more intense because there is more hdash density as well as the increased spacing of some hdashes to give more emphasis (ex. 01:06:779 (4,1) - , 01:09:714 (1,2,3,4) - ). I'll leave this open for now and think about it when I have more time
made some dashes into walks, mainly the triple 1/2 slider section that follows vocals (ex. 00:56:997 (2,3,4) - ). would like to keep the hdashes because they fall on finish hs, so I believe they fit
