In the world of osu!, there are countless players, mappers, and community members who make the game what it is. Among them, there are a few who stand out for their talent, dedication, and willingness to help others. For me, KPMY is one such person, and I am immensely grateful for all the things they have taught me about mapping.
When I first started playing osu!, I had no idea what mapping was or how it worked. All I knew was that I loved playing the game and wanted to get better at it. However, as I played more and more maps, I started to appreciate the effort and skill that went into creating them. I also realized that if I wanted to contribute to the game and help others enjoy it as much as I did, I needed to learn how to map.
That's when I discovered KPMY. They were a well-known mapper with a great reputation for creating high-quality maps that were both fun and challenging. I started following their work and watching their streams, hoping to learn some of their secrets. To my surprise, KPMY was not only an excellent mapper but also a generous and patient teacher.
Over the course of several months, KPMY taught me everything I needed to know about mapping. They showed me how to use the editor, how to choose the right rhythm and flow, how to balance difficulty and playability, and how to give feedback to other mappers. They also encouraged me to experiment, push myself out of my comfort zone, and have fun with mapping.
Thanks to KPMY's guidance, I was able to create my own maps and share them with the osu! community. I received positive feedback from players and mappers alike, which motivated me to keep improving. KPMY continued to support me and challenge me, always pushing me to be the best mapper I could be.
Looking back, I realize that I would not be where I am today without KPMY's help. They were not just a teacher but also a mentor and a friend. They taught me not only about mapping but also about the importance of community, creativity, and kindness. They showed me that osu! is not just a game but also a platform for self-expression, collaboration, and growth.
In conclusion, I want to express my deepest gratitude to KPMY. They have given me so much more than just mapping skills; they have given me a passion for osu! and a sense of belonging in the community. They have inspired me to keep learning, to keep creating, and to keep giving back. I am proud to be a mapper in osu! thanks to KPMY, and I will always be grateful for their support and guidance.
