For those that don't know what a mablet is, here is an example:

Another example:

Since Windows makes math equations easier, here's the doc: http://puu.sh/plWH9/1be295fc04.docx

So mablet users, rejoice!

Wow! This is really cool and probably beneficial if it works.

By the way, surfing about wacom tablet, I found this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6 ... Mouse.html

"Like the Intuos4 Pen, the Mouse doesn't have a cord to attach or batteries to replace. Simply place it on the Intuit4 tablet and the tablet's electromagnetic resonance technology will provide the mouse with all the power it needs."

Do they mean that the mouse tracks using the absolute position on the tablet, just like a pen? 0o If so, this would be exactly what I'm looking for.

Also, I found an approximately A3-sized Wacom tablet, but it costs something like 770 USD... which is a bit more than what I'm comfortable spending on experimentally possibly upgrading my mouse capabilities. Know of any cheaper large tablets for mablet use?

A regular Wacom is enough for typical use. Just put a larger piece of stiff cardboard on top and a mousepad.

You don't need an Intuos 3 for this; just some ingenuity, a tablet and some dead mice.

Besides, full area on a Wacom is 320 DPI.

Which is really freaking low.

That's true. >.< My brain was just thinking: "While using a mouse, I need a large mousepad, so while using a mablet, it also makes sense that I need to use a large tablet." But of course, when I use mouse, the mouse-distance I need to travel for moving my cursor across the whole screen is quite small.

320 dpi is pretty high. Youll come up with a differend dpi depending on the res you use.

320 DPI on a 1080p screen is ridiculously low. On a 768p screen like most laptops, it isn't as low.

Then again, who plays at 1080p?
Most people I know use windowed widescreen-res somewhere between 600p and 900p just to match how far theyre sitting from their monitor.

My laptop is 1080p, and I play full windowed mode to minimize lag.

Your puush link to the guide is down, so I uploaded it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U95lQo ... sp=sharing

hello

On topic,
You need a tablet to make a mablet
Pen is lighter and more flexible
Mablet requires modification
Tablet > mablet

This thread is meant to explore the relationship between DPI and active area, which is travel distance of your movements.

How you arrived to another conclusion, this thread doesn't cover. This is where you should roast the mablet

Isn't that thing just a tablet? The mouse it's stucked in to give the pen a mouse grip? I have no idea. I'm just asking.
Also "Mablet" is already registered as a mobile(smartphone) + tablet.

Yes, the tablet is underneath the mousepad. An attempt at solving mouse drift that can be roasted here

It sounds really insteresting. I can imagine the aim being really smooth. I may try it when i start feel i need better aim instead better acc and reading.

I wish I can say the same... But the harsh reality is no. Especially with the 6.3.9w5 driver. Your arms simply don't generate the same movements as a CNC machine, making this playstyle harsher than regular mouse.

Case in point, check the OP video.

Mafham converting to Mablet playstyle ! I think that qualifies as a mablet? Maybe?

Now I've seen it all.

Knowing Mafham and similar type of crazy players, I don't think we have.
