[General]- 00:00:072 - Add an uninherited timing point here since you've already started mapping LNs and stuff.
- Your source is just the album name right? If that's the case, remove it, because you only add the source if it's from a video game/anime; source is not for the album. Put it in your tags instead.
- Speaking of tags, where are the tagzzzzz mannnnn. Add some stuff like breakcore or whatever else people put in the tags of goreshit songs.
- OD 10 is too cruel. Reduce it to ~9.3 or something.
- The HP on the other hand is way too forgiving. This is goreshit dude. All his songs are meant to utterly wreck your fingers, which means you need to set the HP higher to something like ~9.5 to avoid button mashing to pass.
- Uhm, with the BG, did you forget to apply it to the diff? Cause it's in the folder, but not set as the background, unless I'm doing something horribly wrong here.
I will but.. cant find source..
["People die if they are killed." -Shirou Emiya]Andddd, 3 days later, here we go. Also, just a minimal suggestion, but I feel like SVs could add so much more to this mapset. But I dunno, some mappers don't like it, so whatever your tastes. hmm i consider it
00:00:072 (72|2) - This note begins way too early. Move it to somewhere like 00:00:510 where the sound is slightly more audible. ok
00:34:195 - Make this a double since it's the same sound as 00:34:546 (34546|1,34546|0) ok
00:40:861 (40861|3) - Jack in 1 since it's the same sound as 00:41:037 (41037|0) ok
00:45:489 (45489|0,45510|1,45532|2,45554|3) - Move this down to 00:45:467 ok
00:48:931 (48931|0) - I feel like this sound is way too soft to be mapped; it's almost inaudible, so making a one handed minitrill with it probably doesn't make much sense in the player's mind. I'd suggest removing. ok
00:49:633 (49633|2) - ^^ yep
00:53:668 (53668|0,53712|1,53756|3,53800|2) - Make this a {1234} roll? That's cause I think a {12}{43} for this burst 00:53:844 is much easier to hit than an extended roll. i personally dont like that patterns
00:54:721 (54721|0,54721|1) - Remove this double note. The sound here is almost inaudible, and can only really be heard on 25%. i choose 1note
00:55:686 (55686|3,55861|3,56212|3,56388|3) - I'm pretty sure these are supposed to be snapped to 1/6. It may not be easily heard, but my musical senses are tingling and telling me it's swing, so move up to 00:55:715 (1/6 timing) ok
00:57:002 (57002|2,57002|3,57353|0,57353|1) - Reduce these to single notes since their sound is greatly muted. ok
00:58:230 (58230|1,58317|2,58405|1,58493|2) - Again, pretty sure this is 1/6 More evidence would be the fact that 00:58:317 (58317|2,58405|1) sound closer to each other than 00:58:230 (58230|1,58317|2) ok
00:58:581 (58581|0,58756|3) - Add a quick 1/8 roll here for the repeated hihats? yep
00:59:282 (59282|3,59370|2,59458|1) - Control J to make these notes go higher since the drum's pitch is ascending. ok
00:59:984 (59984|1,59984|0,60160|1,60160|0) - Same stuff about the double being too quiet so reduce to a single note.ok
00:59:984 (59984|1,59984|0,60072|2,60160|1,60160|0,60247|2,60335|3) - Again, this is 1/6 swing. yep
01:00:510 (60510|1,60598|2,60686|1,60774|2,60861|3) - ^^ To give you an idea of what it's supposed to look like since I don't think I've actually specified how it's snapped, this is it
ok
01:01:826 (61826|1) - Snapped to 1/6. Ok, you basically get my point now, so I'll stop mentioning this. ok
01:03:493 (63493|1,63581|3,63668|2,63844|0,63931|2,64019|1) - Why not make these notes a right to left roll like 01:03:142 (63142|0,63230|1,63317|2) but backwards instead since they're descending in pitch? see 01:02:791 (62791|1,62908|2,62967|3,63142|0,63259|1,63317|2) - here
01:05:949 (65949|1,65949|0) - Too quiet for a double. Remove a note or make it a single. ok
01:07:945 (67945|0,67967|1,67989|2,68010|3) - Move this down to 01:07:923ok
01:18:581 (78581|1) - Remove, ghost note. ok
01:18:931 - Make this a triple since it's a far heavier drum hit with a (synth) crash on it too. ok
01:22:616 (82616|2) - Remove, ghost note. ok
01:26:739 (86739|3) - Make this a 1/4 LN since it seems to hold the drum sound until 01:26:826 where it releases. nope
01:27:528 - Also, I know due to limited space, this is probably impossible, but add a 1/1 long LN here for the sustained drum. Try something like this maybe
ok
01:30:160 - Triple for heavier drum and accent? ok
01:31:914 (91914|1,91914|0,92002|3,92002|2) - Jack these with each other since they're the same sound and also because you've done it earlier in the map, but I'm too lazy to go look through it. ok
01:37:440 (97440|3) - Make this note a double since it's like 00:43:142 ok
01:44:195 (104195|3,104195|2,104282|2,104282|1,104370|1,104370|0) - Control H since the sound is ascending in pitch. If accepted, you'll have to rearrange this measure and the one before it. You can probably just control H it all and it shouldn't interfere too much with other patterns. nope
01:56:651 and 01:57:177 - Add a 3/8 LN for the sustained buzz sound? yep
01:58:054 - ^^ yep
02:00:861 and 02:01:388 - Make triples for the different buzz sound? It would differentiate these notes from the one's around it. change it
02:01:563 - There is some nice vibrato in this section, plus a few stutters. Maybe try and map those? I'm talking about stuff like 02:05:072 to 02:05:423 where there's a 1/16(?) stutter. You could probably make it a {2}{3} trill and then continue the LN after again. i choose LN SV
02:25:247 (145247|2,145247|0,145247|3) - Reduce this to a double or single because there's no crash here like there is at 02:25:072 (145072|2,145072|0,145072|3)ok
02:24:458 (144458|3,145160|1,145510|0) - and others, are you sure there are sounds here? I'm pretty sure most of these are ghost notes, minus 02:25:160 (145160|1) cause I'm deaf. yep
02:26:651 (146651|1,146739|1) - Make these triples since they're the same as 02:27:002 (147002|1,147002|2,147002|0,147089|1,147089|0,147089|2)
02:28:581 (148581|0,148581|2,148581|1) - Reduce this to a single note since there's only a hihat here T.T ok
02:29:239 - You're missing a note here. thk
02:30:423 (150423|1) - Remove this note? I feel like it adds emphasis to the very short moment in the music where the instruments are greatly muted. yep
02:30:949 (150949|0) - Maybe a ghost note? I feel like it's too quiet to get a note though. I dunno. I'll stop mentioning stuff like this now. umm..
02:39:546 - Now I'm probably a hypocrite, but I think you're missing a note here since the sustained buzz sound kind of pauses for a split second, then goes back again, so maybe jack this with 02:39:633 (159633|3) If accepting the jack, move them both to 1 to avoid a 3 note jack. accept
03:12:791 (192791|1,192791|0,192879|3,192879|2,192967|1,192967|0,193054|3,193054|2) - These are all the same sound so jack them? But I also feel like a 4 note chord jack might be too hard and too fast, but you also use 3 note chord jacks, so I don't know. i dont know what s that mean D:
03:13:317 (193317|1) - Remove note, it's a very quiet sound. ok
03:15:247 - Add a 1/2 LN for the powering down kind of sound? ok
03:16:826 (196826|2,196826|1) - Why not jack this with the next jump? i change
03:18:581 - I can't call this burst unreadable since I played it just fine, but aesthetically, I think it could be better. So, to make it somewhat symmetrical, move 03:18:668 (198668|3) to 3 and 03:18:712 (198712|2) to get a more asymmetrical pattern while still being easily readable. ok
03:18:756 (198756|0) - ^^ if accepted, move to 4.
03:24:721 (204721|1,205072|1) - Between these two notes, add a 1/8 burst for hihats? ok
03:27:177 (207177|0,207528|1) - ^^ ok
03:35:160 (215160|1) - Ghost note. ok
03:36:475 (216475|3,216563|2,216651|1) - Control H for pitch relevancy since the sound goes higher in pitch. ok
03:37:177 (217177|1) - Also ghost note. ok
03:55:423 (235423|3,235423|2) - Reduce to a single note? I see you're using doubles for sounds like 03:55:510 but the note I highlighted isn't. ok
03:55:949 (235949|3,235949|1,235949|0,235949|2) - Reduce this to a triple for consistency, because this same sound appears at 03:56:651 but is only a triple. ok
03:58:931 (238931|2,238931|3,238975|1,238975|0,239019|2,239019|3,239063|0,239063|1) - Why use mini chord trills when you've been using 1/8 rolls instead this whole time? Reduce these to single notes to remain consistent with how you've mapped so far. ok
04:06:212 (246212|1,246212|2) - Reduce to a single note since, as far as I can tell, you used the previous 3 jumps to represent that choking kind of vocal, but that's not present here. ok
04:25:598 (265598|3,265598|2,265686|0) - Control H to jack the jump with the previous one since they're the same kick sound. ok
04:52:418 (292418|0,292440|1,292462|2,292484|3) - Move up to 04:52:440 since that's where the sound starts. ok
04:57:879 (297879|1,297879|0) - Jack these with each other like you did in the beginning of the song? ok
04:59:107 (299107|1,299458|2) - Between these notes, add a 1/8 bursts for the hihats. You've done this in some other parts of the song that I don't feel like going through and finding btw, so it's kind of a consistency thing too. If you map one sound, you'll have to map it again if it appears in a calm part, with few exceptions. ok
05:04:019 - Woah, this SV. The music's mood has not changed since the end of the kiai, so there's no reason to have a .9 SV here. no sv i delete
05:05:598 (305598|0,305642|1,305686|0,305730|1) - I feel like 1/8 is a little overkill for a one handed trill. Maybe a {2}{3} trill, but {1}{2} might be too stressful on the left fingers. ok
05:06:826 (306826|1,306826|0) - Move to {34} since it's a higher pitch than 05:06:651 (306651|0,306651|1) ok
05:12:967 and 05:13:054 - Missing notes for kick and hihat respectively? ok
05:20:510 - For this burst, I recommend something like this because it keeps the jacks you have, while also mapping the short 1/16 directly after the note is played.
nice op
Ok, then ending SVs are most likely way too slow for the density of notes, so reading them becomes impossible. The music doesn't really change that much all either, so I'd most likely recommend having them to .8
at least if you absolutely must have SV at the ending. i delete all sv
