That title tho.
Hi! From your forum M4M taiko queue.
I am pretty thorough, so don't be annoyed if I point out a lot of issues. A lot of times they are just my opinions, so feel free to object to them. :3
d = don
k = katsu
D = big don
K = big katsu
[Kantan]
00:21:603 - add k? Match repetition of 00:20:219 (17,18), and 1/1 quintuplet should not be too difficult for Kantan players.
00:36:372 - ^
01:16:920 (36) - change to K to match the electronic cymbal(?)
01:37:688 (68) - change to d would match piano pitch, but if you don't want that many dkd or kdk's then no change
01:37:688 (68) - change to k to match pitch difference as well as 01:34:457 (63)
01:45:073 (82) - same as 01:37:688 (68)
[Futsuu]
Too hard for Futsuu really. Especially stuff like 00:28:526 (53,54,55,56), 00:45:142 (97,98,99,100) and 01:37:227 (108,109,110,111,112,113), and the almost constant 1/1 with some 1/2 at the second kiai is at Muzu level.
Actually you should just rename it to Muzu and call it a day.
01:22:458 (33) - 5% hitsounding? ayy lmao
Most of the note placement are good, it's just that they're too dense for it to be called Futsuu. (288bpm lmao) If you're going to change this to be Muzu however, the patterns are going to be needed to be Muzu-ified, basically change some of the ddd and kkk to ddk kkd dkd kdk etc (especially in the second kiai).
[Definitely not Muzukashii]
Definitely Oni.
00:16:526 (39,40,41,42,43,44) - change to ddd kkk instead of kkk ddd; 00:16:526 is onbeat and has a sustained synth pitch bend on top, which is heavier than 00:16:988 which is offbeat with a light electronic cymbal(?)
00:27:603 - turn those hitsounds even lower for your desired effect; something like 40% works for me, but I do have my effect volume at 75% as well
00:41:449 (164) - change to k? I don't think the song is heavy enough here to deserve a d every 2 bars, and k would match pitch as well as the ticking sfx heard in the background
00:47:449 - lol this section is like skystar sliders, but taiko
01:08:218 - lol SV, okay then (personally I feel that the deceleration is too quick, but maybe I just suck at this game)
01:10:568 (320,323) - these two has a slightly higher pitch in the music, I'd map it as k instead of d. Your call though.
01:22:458 - yup.
01:32:207 and 01:33:130 and 01:35:900 - add d for consistency
01:36:765 - this is how I would map this part:
(as you can see I like to pitch-map things)
01:50:380 - add k and change 01:50:727 (561) to k as well to match audible snares
[]
Will do the "Oni" later.
Edit: eh, will do the Oni now.
[Oni]
Pls.
(I don't think the BNs are gonna accept a 6 stars Oni lmao
)
00:14:680 - since the noise here is kinda a drum kick played backwards, I would personally not have any notes here and map it with silence. Kinda makes the beat funky as well
00:20:449 - note: I listened at 50% playback rate, and these are all 1/8s. idk if you want to change it tho
00:27:603 - same as definitely not Muzu
00:35:219 - again, all 1/8s.
00:43:526 - ^
00:47:449 - are you skystar?
00:54:372 (273,274,275,276,277,278,279,280,281) - ddkkddddd matches the drums' pitches. If your intention was to have a sort of "build up" towards the last d, then change 00:54:372 (273) to k as well
00:59:911 (328,329) - change to k k, match the entry of the electronic cymbal(?)
01:08:218 - uhhhhhhh.....
01:20:843 (534,535,536,537,538,539,540,541) - kinda monotonous, having all these k in a row. Maybe map the melody instead? Your call.
01:22:458 - "did you hear anything?" "Nah, why, you heard something?" "No."
01:24:304 (545) - might as well be D
01:37:650 - "1/12 IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE TO USE EVER." Yeah right. Keep it. <3
01:45:361 (814) - change to k to match the high "ding" sound
[]
Well... That was a thing.
Good map though, just wasn't... My ears weren't ready for that lol.
