I think the kiai must be 70 % volume
But the hitsound work is really good , you told me you were a noob on it its not true at all :D

But...your map looks like more a platter + not really a rain there isn't many hyperdash , ar=8.7 , the timeline density is pretty low
So...or else you make it a platter and it gets nerf or else you made it a true rain and you have to make it harder , the music isn't that smooth I'm sure its not hard to make it harder

why do you have the offset so early? 00:17:815 - is where the beats to the music actually start. before that, it is just wind blowing

but in all seriousness I did fully enjoy how you did the hitsounds. The only complaint I have is the hitsounds from 01:13:141 - to 01:17:489 - sound really soft due to how the music itself spikes for the flute (?)

01:11:510 (1,2,1) - I feel the jump to 2 and back is a tad bit too far.

Other than these two things, I find this fairly well put together.

Salad +
Ummm.....there are hypers on this...........a lot of hypers (like over 30)..........I don't think that even for a Salad + there can be hypers on a Salad, but this is the first time I have seen a Salad + so I would advise you do double check about this before continuing on. It would be really sad if like 4 or so mods get on this only to be told it has to be remapped because there are hypers on it. I am more than happy to take a look at this difficulty after that gets cleared up.

Platter
QwQ why no hypers during kaia time?

Other than that, there is not really much that sticks out to me for things to change. It does seem that your hypers are clumped at the beginning though.

Rain
You might not want to hear this, but you are missing a lot of notes you can map to (you can hear 3-6 notes you can map to on some of the sliders you have). You only have a max combo of 10 more than Platter also. Seeing that I will be coming back anyway for Salad +, I can look at this difficulty at that time also.

Not sure whether this is due to the fairly old 5month map but the NC's in this diff are really strange to me. for example : 00:24:119 (1) - can be NC'ed off
00:25:423 (1) - ^
00:28:032 (1) - NC off and 00:28:250 (1) - NC on (and then 00:28:902 (1) - off)
Last example 00:46:076 (1,1) - very weird how only 1 combo here.
I'm sure you get my drift now and maybe this was just a little misunderstanding since it was a fairly old mapping style perhaps ?
Might be a little overmapped too.

00:19:554 (1,2,3) - To save the amount of notes, these can be just 1 reverse slider

00:25:641 (2,1) - To save on overmapping this section can look like this


00:29:119 (2,3) - Can be combined into just one slider as there are no hitsounds place on the drum on the end of (2). Will also follow violin.

00:33:467 (1,2) - This (1) slider can just be a full slider that takes up (2). like this (pretty sure i could have explained that better without the image XD)


00:37:597 (1) - Be good to remove for emphasis

00:39:771 (2) - Can also be removed and plays better.

00:47:380 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2) - Way too overmapped for my liking D:. Try remove 00:48:033 (1) -

Pretty fun platter. Really enjoyed playing this.

00:17:815 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - Just wondering if you really need hypers at the start here ? it's so so quiet and have no need for hypers.
(apart from 00:24:337 (5,1) - )

00:41:293 (2,3) - I think these can be moved right more as it's a big of a short flow here from the previous notes and you got to wait a bit and move very little. Suggest moving both together at around x:400

01:01:945 (2,3) - Would be nice if these both were spaced out more as it's a bit too easy here. Would be nice with the music too. perhaps 01:02:380 (3) - at x:140. Also these slider could be slanted horizontally a bit too as they create better flow then.

01:08:902 (2,3) - Bit of a big jump imo. Either hyper the end of the slider on (2) or move closer for easier catch. Also same slant reason for (2) ^

01:15:858 (2,3,4,5,6) - to make these flow better move (3) to x:40 and (5) to x:236. This makes a better glide along the notes.

01:34:337 (1,2) - Since the kiai comes up you would want these a bit more distant away from previous note. Try move both of these together to x:412. Makes a nice hyper at (2) also.

01:37:380 (5) - This jump is a bit extreme. Suggest moving this slider to x:260

01:43:032 (1,2) - Please slant these like same reasons as before.

01:43:902 (3) - this can be moved right a bit more and quite probably until it hypers the end of the slider. It was a bit cramped with previous slider too.

01:48:902 (2,3) - Same slider slant reason.

01:54:336 (2,3) - Imo bit of a big jump. Suggest moving (3) to x:372

01:56:945 (1,2) - Slider slanting again.

01:57:815 (3) - Bit of a hard jump to (4) imo. Either move (3) to x:304 to hyper or reduce spacing a little.

02:01:510 (4,5) - Be nice if this last part was hypered for the finale

Don't know about you but the hitsounds are a bit complicated to me in this. Since it's an old map and was revived recently as you told me i presume you would want to change these. Also why is the finish hs not the clap hitsound ?

00:18:684 (3) - This would suit the song much better with this pattern


00:39:119 (2,3,4) - (3) is very awkward to catch since it's very close to (2) and far away from (4). Either distance snap this so it spaces out more to the right or perhaps move (2) right a bit and have (3) left of (2)

00:41:728 (4,1) - Well this (4) really needs a hyper on the end of it. Literally just move (1) 2 inches left and bam!! Hypered :3

00:45:641 (1,2) - Very awkwardly close to previous slider making flow funny here. Suggest moving (2) to x:208

00:51:293 (2,3) - ^ very close to stacking which may not be a bad idea to do.

00:54:554 (2,3,4) - Very big hyper jumps to include for a rain diff. Try just move 00:55:641 (3) - to x:256

01:06:076 (3,1) - Same as earlier. Almost hypered. Moving (1) just 2 inches right again will hyper this.

01:33:467 (8,9) - These wall jumps are a bit OTT especially when the last jump makes people fly into the left wall and it's hard to recover from. Suggest moving (9) somewhere near the middle like x:272

01:35:206 (3,4) - Same case here ^

01:47:815 (4) - Again with wall jumps. Just try move this more right to say about x136

01:51:076 (6,7) - (6) is almost a hyper here and is tricky catch catch without hyper. Perhaps try find to way to hyper it or move previous (5) to x:340 and (6) to x:184

Rain has a combo at 1:49:022 that could use some fixing. It sorta desyncs from the song, in a way. If you listen closely, you just notice a space in that combo where the song isn't there. Other than that, I see nothing wrong with this! Good luck getting it ranked! :3

Last example 00:46:076 (1,1) - very weird how only 1 combo here. - ^
I'm sure you get my drift now and maybe this was just a little misunderstanding since it was a fairly old mapping style perhaps ?

  1. Some combo colours would be good :^)
  2. In Spartan's Platter, a preview points isn't set, better do it now.
  3. Again in Spartan's Platter, it has letterbox during breaks on, when all others don't. Unify the settings.
  4. Consider to add 'Tyrell' into the tags as Spartan changed his/her(wtv idk ;-;) username.
[AFB's Salad]
  1. Honestly I don't get the NC patterning lol. Judging by your reply, NCs are there to emphasize the strong drums, but some of them are missing in the difficulty, for example 00:37:815 (3) - (there are just few more I think). Not sure if you do want to keep this, I feel that following the synth for NCs are much more comfortable to play.
  2. Other than that, nothing much to say about the difficulty itself, anything else would be the just-a-bit inconsistent NCs, and just compiling them up is not my style.
[Salad+]
  1. I don't really get the inconsistency in hitsounds... You've got a clap which you can use it over finish, yet you decided to use finish and made it inconsistent. For example, 00:26:076 (4) - this had a clap, but then the notes after that used finish(like 00:26:510 (1,3) - ), and some of them are even missing the finishes(like 00:28:250 (1) - ).
  2. 00:31:728 (1,1) - Comparing these 2 notes, 00:31:728 (1) - this should technically have a H-dash instead of 00:35:206 (1) - this as it has a stronger accent on the instrument, and you even emphasized it with a finish.
  3. 00:38:250 (5,1,1) - Screenjumps lol. They are so far :o I don't know, you may just want to stick with 1/2 H-dashes for this difficulty as 1/1 H-dashes will have too big of a gap to dash onto, and it looks pretty much 'forced' in some way. The sad thing for the players is that you made this twice in a row...
  4. 00:38:684 (1) - I don't really get the use of long sliders, they ignore so much important beats and it makes lots of inconsistencies due to that. 00:34:337 (5,6,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - These are all emphasizing on the instruments in the background(what a long 1/2 chain lols), and this kinda breaks off what you have been following. You should keep the consistency and map out the drums at least like before.
  5. 00:50:206 (3,4) - Try to have more movement between these 2 notes as (4) is quite a strong instrument compared to others in the combo, around 2.5x may work.(Consecutively you will need to move (5) as well, possibly creating a square pattern out of the 4 notes.)
  6. 00:58:467 (4,5,6) - Honestly I would NC at (4) then move all of the mentioned notes so that they are somewhat symmetrical to 00:57:815 (1,2,3) - , so that it emphasizes the kick and refrains from keeping the plate getting too big.
  7. 01:13:467 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - The combo is getting real long and the fruit plate is getting real big... I would recommend you to make (6) a 1/2 slider instead of 1/1, replace 01:16:945 - this with a circle, then add a NC on that circle to reduce the fruit count on the plate.
  8. Well the difficulty plays out fine, but the wall dashes(wtv) are getting me worried as they are pretty hard right now.

  1. 00:23:902 (2,5,1) - Yea I do not really get the spacings on these notes. Theoratically (1) should be having a H-dash over (2) and (5) as it is a downbeat(drum kicks and other strong instruments are present as well + starting of new musical section). And just saying, that's a big H-dash from (4) to (5) lols.
  2. 00:38:684 (1) - And this should also have a H-dash in it as well, as it is the same cymbals from 00:38:250 (5) - , and its a downbeat(again) as well. Yea some of the non-downbeat dashes that are really big I don't really understand, don't know how they all work with this song in particular.
  3. 00:55:641 (5,1,2,1,1,2) - All these sliders progress to the right, and it doesn't create much variety in terms of movement in notes. Some of them could be ctrl + g-ed to vary those movements, such as at 01:16:945 (1) - here, you can ctrl + g then move it to x=256 or something.
  4. The whole kiai time - There is way too less H-dashes and normal dashes compared to the other parts of the song. Like, even the calmest part of the song had H-dashes, so why not add in here as well, considering the stanza and all? Some movements can be bit more bigger, for example, you can increase the spacing of 01:45:641 (3) - this note like you did for the first stanza. I believe just varying up those distances can make the difficulty more intuitive and fun to play.

  1. Oh my gosh those wall dashes killed me off during testplays lol
  2. Check over those hitsounds like I've mentioned in Salad+. Hopefully you are re-doing it as I am writing this ><
  3. 00:37:380 (2) - One of the inconsistent H-dashes/normal dashes in this musical section, if you were trying to 'increase' distance for drum snares for this section, you should at least increase this note's distance by a little, maybe moving this to x=200 can emphasize it well enough.
  4. 01:02:380 (4) - Increase distance on this note, to have smoother transition towards 01:02:597 (5) - this note, right now it is a really huge dash without any means, and it also doesn't fit with the instruments in the background for this par that well.
  5. 01:21:293 (3,4,5,6) - Nothing in the song does justify the stream here; There is not even a faint sound(most likely) in the background that can support the stream's usage here, and it feels bit too overmapped tbh.
  6. 01:33:467 (8,9,1) - Oh noes wall dashes o.o This is unnecessarily far tbh, it is way too hard for players to recover from the momentum they made from (8) to (9) to move towards (1), and the 1/1 gap is certainly not enough to address this.
  7. 02:00:423 (1) - It feels weird for this note to have almost no movement at all when it is emphasizing the same instrument as 01:58:684 (1) - , and it is bit more stronger than it.
  8. I think most of those really huge dashes can be reduced so that it can increase playability and all, it feels way too hard to have those hard wall dashes that are hard to recover from :c

  1. Honestly I don't get the NC patterning lol. Judging by your reply, NCs are there to emphasize the strong drums, but some of them are missing in the difficulty, for example 00:37:815 (3) - (there are just few more I think). Not sure if you do want to keep this, I feel that following the synth for NCs are much more comfortable to play. - Changed the whole style of NC, it is much improved right now.
  2. Other than that, nothing much to say about the difficulty itself, anything else would be the just-a-bit inconsistent NCs, and just compiling them up is not my style. - Fixed some of the cloggy parts though, it plays much better now.

  1. If the spread is gonna have 7.7/8.8 for the highest 2 difficulties (Which I don't reccomend - 8.8 AR rain ????) then at least make this 6.6
General
  1. 00:34:337 (2) - I feel like you could tilt this to the left a bit more and then move these two 00:34:771 (3,4) - over to the left also, makes it play a bit better so you're not staying still almost on (2).
  2. 00:36:945 (1) - Why not dash to this note ?
  3. 00:48:250 (4,5,6) - Make this pattern go to the left instead? 00:47:380 (1,2,3) - already goes to the right, it feels like a lot of notes are stacked on this side.
  4. 01:12:597 (2,3) - I think you should give 3 a tiny bit more distance. It feels too close the way it is now.
  5. The difficulty is clean but I only needed to use dash around 4-5 times. Maybe find places to add some distance <:

General
  1. 00:17:815 - I think the beginning needs a little more diversity, like some dashes or at least increased spacing. for example to 00:21:293 (1) -
  2. 00:23:032 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - :c This is no fun to play.. Try something likethis!
  3. 00:27:380 (2,3) - I would remove the hdash from these notes and instead add it to 00:27:815 (3,1) - to emphasize the stanza change.
  4. 00:36:510 (5,1) - You have this noise as an hdash previously, why not add it here as well ?
  5. 00:38:250 (5,1) - This distance is REALLY far for an hdash and also it's on the very edge of the screen. I think you should find a more appropriate distance.
  6. 00:44:989 (3,4) - Remove hdash from here I think and add to the two finish notes 00:45:206 (4,1) - .
  7. 00:50:423 (4) - This should at least have a dash to it, since it uses a finish.
  8. 01:01:728 (3) - You should make it so sliders like this have at least some movement to them. Better to make it less curvy and more straight.
  9. 01:16:945 (1) - I think you could make an hdash to here!
  10. 01:20:206 (3) - While this flow is pretty awkward, I think the sound doesn't warrant an hdash, would suggest moving it to the right of 01:19:337 (2) - and making a small dash to 01:20:423 (1) - .
  11. 01:34:337 (1,2) - Best to make this a regular dash!
  12. 01:46:293 (4,1) - hdash?
  13. 01:57:380 (2) - Try pointing this more towards 3
  14. 02:01:728 (4,5) - remove hdash from here and add to 02:01:945 (5,6) - ?

  6. 01:12:054 (2,3,4,5) - waehawjkeh ? I think the pattern is okay if you want to keep it, otherwise the distances really need to change. I suggest making 01:12:163 (4,5) - these two notes a lot closer to each other.
  7. 01:16:293 (3,4) - These seem a bit too far apart.
  8. 01:57:380 (2,3) - Try to force an hdash here. otherwise, the distances feel too far away.
