Update: Just waiting on hitsound modding before I continue.
Update 2: Removed 02:42:575 (2) and 02:42:967 (3). Also changed the shape of 03:06:497 (3) and 03:19:438 (6) and 03:19:830 (1) however the flow should remain the same.

Here's my mod for your mod on my map :3

  1. I think this should be considered a marathon map, right? In this case I have to say that with such a short drain time you can't make this a marathon map. You need a drain time (not total time) of at least 300seconds (5 minutes) to call it a marathon (Your current drain time: 230 seconds - almost 4 minutes)
  2. What about a little change of colors? That blue looks like is too strong amogn the others and some of them could be improved, so... :

  • -This might be a general thing for the whole map set. I dont like you only have 3 combo colors and two of these since consecutive are similar.
    -You are using a total of 5 different SVs. Ask yourself if it is necessary and reduce to max 3 if not. more so because some of the svs are fairly close to each other.
    -Consider increasing hitsound volume during kiai/chorus a little. the song is quite stable in terms of different volumes but nonetheless it is noticable that during chorus the overall volume slightly increases. try keep a balance with your hitsounds. maybe 10-15% more during these signature parts?
    -00:08:458 (1,2) - the time between the cursor's position of second slider's head and first slider's tail is real short for such an overlap. even for an insane. keep in mind you perfectly stack and the second slider could suggest to go on along the former slider's path.
    -02:51:595 (1,2) - similar as above
    -03:33:948 (1,2) - same. dont be mad. I actually like the idea. but others will hate you for this because they dont want to bother learning to read. they rather blame the mapper. and this is why as mappers we have to go for high readablity now... =/ i mean it is up to you if you keep it. but i am almost certain that this kind of stuff is like a privilege only skystar has earned so far^^

I believe the placement of breaks and how long they go for is the mapper's decision. Whilst I have been told numerous times to put notes in that place, the sound doesn't inspire me enough to map that part to a good enough standard.

    Not to shame on anyone, but I'd like to point out this map: t/247827 (specifically G's Insane by Evil_Twilight). Included within his difficulty are very long breaks that could be mapped out as well (in my opinion at least, easier than my song), but he chooses not to. So basically what I'm trying to say in tl;dr is I don't want to map that part for specific reasons. Hopefully you understand

Generally speaking, tehre is a lot of work to do on this mapset yet and I'll tell you why.
The basic problem is regarding "consistency". Consistency is made up by using same patterns/passagges where the music requires it. It also includes using same slider shapes during the same combo (this one in particular makes your consistency drop low), so try to focus on these things.
I know that changing shapes gives more "creativity" to the map, but if you change slider shape every time a slider comes it gives the exact opposite feeling.

  6. AImod: Normal at 00:47:281 (3,4) -: AImod doesn't like these being too close together, though there's a 5/2 timeline space so it's not that big of a deal IMO, just thought I'd point it out
Difficulty-Specific Comments:
Easy
00:00:615 (1) - I would Ctrl+J this and rotate about 75 degrees anticlockwise - it just brings the first object a little closer to the centre of the playfield, making it slightly easier for newer players to react to
00:09:634 - This feels a little weird to me without a note here, considering you've mapped 00:08:065 (2) which is of equal strength, as well as 00:09:242 (4) which is weaker. I'd add a circle here
00:48:458 - You could add a slider here to map the clap sounds, in the same ways as you did at 00:26:497 (2)
01:00:222 (3) - I think the blanket looks better if you revert the red anchor point to a grey one and drag it to [x-88,y-268]
01:44:144 (1) - Maybe try adding a bit more curve or sharpen the bend here? It looks like it's stuck halfway between a linear slider and a curvy one? Since it's a repeat you can do pretty much whatever you want regarding flow, since it will just end up where it started, but might I suggest to place the anchor point at 01:44:536 since the change of direction will ft nicely with the snare drum sound of the slidertick IMO (If you like this, there are plenty of other places where you could consider doing it, such as 01:50:418 (1)
01:53:948 - I feel this section is a little empty, and since you're about to hit a large break, you can afford to make this a little more active, even if you just add circles on the 1/1 here and at 01:54:732 for the snare drum claps
02:20:222 (1) - I think a 1.5 second spinner is a little short for new players to respond to, though it IS after a large break... Just a suggestion, but you could remove the spinner and put a new one from 02:17:085 to 02:20:222 and then put a circle at 02:21:791 - this beat is pretty prominent, and could easily be clickable... But it's up to you, I don't mind it how it is now. If you like it, you can do it on the other diffs too for consistency
02:42:967 - Same as at 00:48:458 - maybe a 1/1 slider here for the claps?
03:13:556 (1,2) - Flow is a little weird here, I would curve (1) to make a backwards "C" shape, so that the tail is pointing more towards (2)

01:36:497 (2) - Move this to [x-171,y-328] for an equilateral triangle shape
01:37:477 (6,1) - This blanket is pretty ugly IMO. It would be better as a smooth curve with fewer anchor points
01:54:732 (4,1) - Maybe increase the spacing a little here since it's the last note before the break, it's NCed and you're emphasising it with whistle and finish hitsounds
02:21:791 (1) - Blanket is slightly off here, move each of the last two grey anchor points up one grid space (on Grid size 4)

03:20:026 (2,3) - (3) is a strong beat, so I would increase the spacing between these tow and decrease it between 03:20:222 (3,4) like you've done for 03:20:811 (2,3,4)
03:22:183 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This stream really doesn't fit the music to my ears. The 1/4 notes just aren't justified. At most, I would argue that 03:22:379 (3,1) could be 1/2 sliders for the strong cymbal sounds, but otherwise this feels overmapped to me ):

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you on that. I saw the posts in that beatmap's thread and they do suggest to add some sort of source, since it's known from that franchise. Thanks for the heads up. Sorry for the delay >.>

Please message me back whenever you remap the hard and easy, hopefully by then I can mod the entire mapset with a hand that doesn't kill (It's gotten a bit better so I may just comeback even before that)
