Hello, denizens! This is a meat factory facility of KatouMegumi's Independent OT Research Laboratories and as its CEO, I am happy to introduce a new food product: Cloned Mutton!



This product is a result of my newest research made possible thanks to the collaboration with nedd83 on his HoloEN Ritual.

The mutton meat produced by KatouMegumi's Independent OT Research Laboratories is ethically and morally correct. No sentient being is being harmed in the production of mutton meat. Unlike certain proposals on renewable phoenix meat.

We will be extending offered meat produce to other kinds of meat. Right now, we have plans for dragon, rabbit and shark meat.

Everyone is entitled to free supply of mutton or other kind of meat from KatouMegumi's Independent OT Research Laboratories.

plot twist: the security in the meat factory couldn't handle the amount of clone the factory put out that they all the clones ran away

any reasons as to why you couldn't clone phoenix meat?

mutton is just way too different from spicy fried bird.

I have stated before that the phoenix meat is not very tasty. I was originally doing experimentation on the phoenix meat, but in the end switched to mutton for aforementioned reasons.

From the factory, of course.
The exact process is currently a trade secret, but rest assured it holds up to the ethical claims.

i refuse to purchase from your factory if there would be no phoenix meat.

First of, cloned mutton does not have sentience or intellect by design, so there is nothing morally wrong with butchering it.

We follow no ethical standards, we do prioritize our customers above all, doesn't matter where the mutton comes from, it will reach it's customer.

I have a hard time to believe in this "ethical" food source. These clones definitely should have a conscience, if they don't, then either you are lying about their state of mind or you use brain experiment to remove the conscience from them as they are cloned, which is no more ethical than killing clones with a conscience.

I suggest that you, as the OT!Government representative, stop spreading false rumors. This is not how the process works at KatouMegumi's Independent OT Research Laboratories meat factory facilities. I may not reveal the process yet, as I stated countless times that it is a trade secret right now.

what does your factory gain from providing the meat for free? if it has nothing to gain, then why keep the process of production a trade secret when no profit is involved?

You normally don't ask questions when you get something for free, no middleman.
But to answer your question, I gain a way to refine my technology. What I offer is basically a waste product in my eyes, that can be utilized by others as a perfectly fine and edible food source instead.

I am sorry, but you can't just say that is not how the process work and then keep that process secret. For your science to have any credibility, you need to reveal how it works, else, we can't reproduce your experiment to verify your statement.

As per OT!Constitution ruling C.XXXI, I have a right to the trade secret of mine (property) and I will not be revealing it until ordered by court or higher instances.

Either way, It is safe for consumption, otherwise I wouldn't dare to release this product in fear of my status as an OT Parliament member.

you have right to trade secret, but that doesn't change the fact the none of your statement hold any credibility. As long as I cannot verify that what you say is true, I will not believe it.

this is not about legality. You are proposing me an alternative to phoenix meat, what you need to do to sell me this alternative (and subsequently make me stop my attempt to obtain pheonix meat) is to earn my trust. You will never earn my trust if you keep everyting you do secret. If anything it makes you look very suspicious.
