A few days ago a dark day passed OT called the Day of Death. That day is known to have sudden increase in fatalities all around the Land of OT, and it is was my second time going through that day in this land. The first time I experienced it was during the Lockthread era, around the time the legendary shitposters ran amok. The day came and suddenly a name never to be mentioned again was wiped from the land. We all wondered where he went, but as time went on, we started caring less and less until it did not matter anymore. However, we do have fears it may happen to someone important.
A meeting was held in the OT Royal Society Centre where this topic was the subject of discussion. Nobody could decide on what action to take. We knew it had to be a thing causing such havoc, we just did not know what this thing is much less how it looked like. I, personally, requested a group to go out on expedition to seek out the cause of the deaths. Many others were against the idea, afraid to put denizens in risk. I spent several hours debating on the matter until I convinced the society that there would be fatalites no matter what happens and at least we may get info about the cause if we do sent out someone.
In order to minimize the stakes, we did not want to put the more important denizens out as bait for whatever is out there. We chose Alexkuzi and DJ Enetro as they held no weight in the land. Enetro started protesting how it's not fair that they are being judged of no worth and how they will go on a suicide mission because of it. To make things fair, it was decided two other denizens be chosen using drawing sticks. Since DJ Enetro took his sweet time, we had to settle on straws found outside the building since we needed to hurry before night came about. Kisses and Aomi were the ones who drew the short straws. In order to give the four denizens support, the executioner, Zekks, was chosen to come with them as the offense. When protested, an order was made as a repent against the sins he commited executing denizens.
When the order was declared, and it was time to write up the written portion, I interjected with a request to do it on special type of parchment I developed. It is made of special material engineered to the quantum level that should reveal if has been tampered with at any point in multidimensional time. This may sound like nonsense, and going a bit too far, but I have I theory I really wanted to check out. This theory, if true would reveal that far greater things are at play than "an object killing denizens". One pointer to something greater at play is how the denizen from last year was gone. We still remember he existed, however, his name is wiped from many of the denizen's memories and documents as if it never existed to begin with. Normally you would see tampering in an effort to erase the name, but even my advanced analysis in the lab revealed that there is none
After the order was signed and the deal was done, I met up with the group one last time before they headed out. Alexkuzi, as always, wanted me to see his skin. I gave him a tracker. DJ Enertro, like always, complained about shit. I gave him a tracker. Zekks, like always, gave his piece of mind. I have him a tracker. Kisses and Aomi, like always, anyway, I gave them a tracker too. I also gave Zekks special blade for dealing with the worst that can possibly out there and camera since he is most likely to make it back alive. I headed back to the lab while the six chosen denizens went on the expedition as bait for whatever is lurking out there. Then I waited as I put up with blitzfrog's shit.
