yellow kind of became synonymous with "this person decides things" and osu! has never worked that way, so as part of the upheaval, all the "community manager people" dropped their rank and titles and just returned to the osu!team member stuff instead
i'm not going anywhere and i'm still doing what i always do, but future leadership of things will only be under absolute necessity, otherwise i'm here to essentially help a new generation of players get involved in stuff
