Research/Experiments

Abraker:

I am conducting a study:
Date: 2017/5/31 - 2017/6/9
Subject: OT denizens have long been infected with the Trashipitus-B virus and the only remedy is to apply a treatment that is the purging of all trash.
Conclusion: Treatment enforced by Lord Farquaad, leading to 98% reduction of trash

What is a perfect mod like?:
Date: 2017/5/28
Subject: Characters, actions and attributes OT denizens would like their Lords to display
Result: Inconclusive

If we got pp for posting in OT, how would it work?:
Date: 2017/4/16
Subject: Quality values in OT Denizen's posts and threads
Result: It is hard to put quality into terms of mathematics and nobody knows how to define it

[assigned] Feature Request: New and improved scoring method
Date: 2017/4/16
Subject: Can OT Denizens determine whether a post is a joke when it is of the same subject as the "Can OT Denizens discern a serious post from a copied serious post faking to be one" experiment?
Result: The matter was not taken seriously

PSA: How to avoid clickbait on April Fools
Date: 2017/4/1
Subject: How keen are OT Denizens to slight differences in content they interact with everyday?
Result: Most of OT Denizens take the content they interact with for granted, aka "know only what is displayed". This implies most OT Denizens wouldn't notice transparent text either.

Speedqualification
Date: 2017/2/14
Subject: Can OT Denizens discern a serious post from a copied serious post faking to be one?
Result: Many OT Denizens may take a posts seriously depending on certain subjects and correct wording and structure

Loctav and Zallius argue over Monstrata's map on discord
Date: 2017/1/29
Subject: How likely are OT Denizens to believe fake but believable claims that are made to grab attention?
Result: 84 engagements suggests majority of the OT population saw the content. Those who replied were mostly expecting the subject to be what they have read

New OT era? Shitposting downfall?
Date: 2017/1/25
Subject: A pattern within OT emerged, beginning with Lord Locktread's reign, where a new Denizen comes, shitposts, and mysteriously stops
Result: The cases are specific to the first two, roshan117 and [redacted]. Blitzfrog is an outlier. A claim that an unidentified virus has been going around OT as well

Which thread should I repost next?
Date: 2017/1/8
Subject: What are OT Denizen's reaction to being fooled by fake/reposted threads?
Result: Raging from lack of response to being angered

⎛ ● __ ● ⎞
Date: 2016/1/7
Subject: One of the three threads part of the "What are OT Denizen's reaction to being fooled by fake/reposted threads?" experiment

Supporter giveaway
Date: 2016/12/29
Subject: How many OT Denizens will fall for a thread based on the recent "supporter giveaway" threads
Result: With 92 engagements, the numbers suggest that most of the OT population did indeed click, however it is uncertain whether they were indeed expecting a legitimate supporter giveaway.

What would the ultimate version of osu! have?
Date: 2016/12/22
Subject: One of the three threads part of the "What are OT Denizen's reaction to being fooled by fake/reposted threads?" experiment

How would you make OT great again?
Date: 2016/12/13
Subject: What are OT Denizen's thoughts about how OT can improve?
Result: It is the OT Denizen's fault for trying so hard they are doing the opposite and OT is not actually geared towards to making anything better unless something big happens

Blitzfrog:

The Quality Trigger Experiment
Date: 2017/06/02
Subject: What emotion triggers the creation of qualitative threads?
Result:
  1. Sadness

No problem

Follow these steps:
  1. Find the tallest building you can see
  2. Take the elevator/stairs to reach up to the balcony or the top floor
  3. Check, if the top floor has no windows or the building has no balcony, go to the next tallest building
  4. Keep doing so until you get to the top floor and you are either at the balcony or you can see a window
If you see a window:
  1. Smash it open by whatever means
  2. Step close
  3. Say your prayers
  4. Let yourself fall down the building
*Note: Do not jump, it is bad for your knees

If you are at a balcony:
  1. Jump to the ceiling of the next tallest building in sight
  2. If you succeed, do step 1 again
  3. If there is a barrier, keep jumping at the barrier till it breaks, then continue step 1

With these steps, you will find douglas in no time

Please update my resume. I did far more experiments and researching than that. Also add descriptions:

Those discussions are what I call research studies. I need to get my info from somewhere to form a hypothesis. Those research studies evolved into discussions on their own and develop the basis for answers pretty well.

Yes but you did not write a scientific report

Closest I came to such is what Endaris can probably describe as a failure of an attempt and waste of effort. At least they hold value to me.

Maybe if you could stop thinking hydrochloric acid is a base you could be taken off from the retard list
