All diffs mapped and hitsounded, ready for mods!

Todo list

BNs soon!... probably.

Total mod count: 24

Mod counts per diff (Post last BN check)

EZ: 10 (7)
NM: 11 (7)
HD: 13 (8)
MX: 16 (8)
SC: 16 (9)
(EX: 3)

Changelog
  1. 27/3/17 - Minor changes in SHD diff to make some parts appear more readable and playable, as well as some hitsounding fixes.
  2. 27/3/17 (again) - Changes to MX and SC, as suggested by CrumpetFiddler (nice name.)
  3. 28/3/17 - Cropped the BGs more to 16:9, audio file has reduced sound boost (down to 150% from 300%, curse you quiet source) and increased bitrate to 192kpbs. And more small SHD changes.
  4. 28/3/17 (again) - Changes to MX, SC and SHD, as suggested by SwitchAxe
  5. 29/3/17 - Changes to metadata, MX and SC, as suggested by Litharrale and Tofu1222
  6. 29/3/17 (again) - Minor HS changes to EZ, as suggested by zigizigiefe, and "custom" hitsounds added
  7. 30/3/17 - SHD renamed to EX (map for fun, may still need mods if anyone wants to, but won't be ranked. (Unless I change my mind again))
  8. 1/4/17 - Changes as suggested by Mai9392 and fixed a minor HS hiccup in MX diff.
  9. 2/4/17 - My computer was dumb and didn't save many of the SC changes I made the day before. So they've just been redone.
  10. 3/4/17 - Removed EX diff from official mapset, but can be downloaded here. (It was too hard to recreate an SHD diff, so it was abandoned.)
  11. 5/4/17 - Giant offset overhaul. Found an even higher quality mp3. So redownload... again. Plus I fixed the weird thing I did on MX that nobody spotted because it wasn't critical (auto volumed hitsounds). And then some minor changes to SC.
  12. 7/4/17 - Changes as suggested by Shiro-neechan. Now to go find some hitsounds...
  13. 13/4/17 - Minor offset change.
  14. 15/4/17 - Changes as suggested by Rammler
  15. 16/4/17 - A couple of minor changes as suggested by imtdb1
  16. 18/4/17 - Hitsound self-mod
  17. 19/4/17 - Major overhaul on EZ, NM and MX diffs, minor changes to HD and SC.
  18. 19/4/17 (again) - Changes as suggested by OrdLyn
  19. 20/4/17 - Minor changes on SC
  20. 21/4/17 - Minor change... again...
  21. 22/4/17 - Another minor change...
  22. 27/4/17 - Changes as suggested by Nevertary and Mykaterasu
  23. 29/4/17 - The sheep sniped my map >.>
  24. 30/4/17 - Sheep still sniping razing map, actual custom hitsounds this time! ...And basically a remap too lol
  25. 2/5/17 - Self-modding! Yay!... probably.
  26. 6/5/17 - Adjustments as suggested by L A U R A and cpotfangirl
  27. 7/5/17 - MX nuking by Cipse
  28. 9/5/17 - Edits to EZ, NM and HD
  29. 11/5/17 - New video! Because frankly the old one looked terrible.
  30. 13/5/17 - Some changes to reduce filesize. Turns out there's a lot of things going on in the video, so it didn't compress very much. At least it looks even better. Video has changed from .mp4 to .avi, whilst all backgrounds have been converted to .jpg.
  31. 14/5/17 - Changes as suggested by Mentholzzz and a bit of self-modding.
  32. 14/5/17 (again) - Large amount of changes as suggested by Moku_Hazushi (and the sheep :3)
  33. 18/5/17 - Some weird hiccup in MX. Fixed anyways. How'd that happen? >.<
  34. 1/6/17 - This ain't dead yet. Mod from Virtue-
  35. 6/6/17 - Applied some changes by Illya X Ram Li + HS self-mod
  36. 9/6/17 - A couple of changes from Raveille

Mapset information
  1. Elma: New to life and not quite accustomed to mania yet? This is perfect for you!
  2. Quetzalcoatl: Getting the hang of things now? Try this for size.
  3. Fafnir: The hardcore gamer's beginning. The more awkward rhythms now make an appearance, so be prepared!
  4. Tohru: The loyal Maid of Kobayashi, always willing to make sure things are done, by any means necessary!
  5. Kanna: Kanna, the other one with Kobayashi. Cute on the outside, but powerful when required.
  6. Triple Trouble: The trio have come together! Kobayashi makes an appearance, combining the skills acquired through Kanna and Tohru, as well as adding her own personal flair as being the fastest typer ever, this map is relentless, with notes flying everywhere by every method in the book! Which is of course illegal, so it's not on the official mapset. Showing your true self in public, fellow dragons, is not allowed.

00:13:584 - This doesnt warrent Kiai time
00:45:584 - again, kiai time isnt needed here
00:50:917 - putting kiai time here makes sense, just an opinion how you have done it here is fine you could choose to leave it how it is, or extend it to here 01:12:250 - (personally id say extend it and remove the need for another one)
01:28:695 - kiai time makes no sense here.

SC(Mod)

00:01:917 (1917|2,1917|0,2028|3,2028|1,2139|2,2139|0) - feels weird to play try re-arranging the notes
00:27:584 (27584|3,27584|1,27695|2,27695|0,27806|1,27806|3) - feels a bit out of place
01:04:250 (64250|3,64250|1,64250|0,64250|2) - consider making it a double, having that as a quad makes the next double harder to hit
ive got nothing else to say except is this your first map? it feels pretty well done already.

MX(mod)
00:21:584 (21584|0,21806|2,21806|1,22028|0,22250|3,22250|2) - these have similar sounds, why are some doubles and others not?
00:28:584 (28584|0,28695|0) - in my opinion i would watch out for the jacks, it plays well with them, its pretty opinionated
00:30:584 (30584|0,30695|0) - ^^
01:24:695 (84695|3) - make a double
01:28:695 (88695|0,88695|2,88695|1,88695|3) - i would make these a similar ln to SC, because it fits the song better and it has the song end in the same location

Final words, have you gotten other people to check this or something? super hard to find mistakes in this, great map bud

00:50:917 - putting kiai time here makes sense, just an opinion how you have done it here is fine you could choose to leave it how it is, or extend it to here 01:12:250 - (personally id say extend it and remove the need for another one) I'm going to leave as is. It's a re-emphasis of the ABAC sequence.
01:28:695 - kiai time makes no sense here. Final flair? I'll leave it in for now.

SC(Mod)

00:01:917 (1917|2,1917|0,2028|3,2028|1,2139|2,2139|0) - feels weird to play try re-arranging the notes Gotta make it challenging somehow. I'm going to leave it as is for now.
00:27:584 (27584|3,27584|1,27695|2,27695|0,27806|1,27806|3) - feels a bit out of place Changed slightly to double single double
01:04:250 (64250|3,64250|1,64250|0,64250|2) - consider making it a double, having that as a quad makes the next double harder to hit Sure. I was debating with myself whether I should have done that beforehand.
ive got nothing else to say except is this your first map? it feels pretty well done already. It was the first difficulty I actually mapped for this set so I'm glad you like it. :)

MX(mod)
00:21:584 (21584|0,21806|2,21806|1,22028|0,22250|3,22250|2) - these have similar sounds, why are some doubles and others not? I'm emphasising claps with doubles on the red ticks from 00:17:139 to 00:22:472, and I didn't want to do constant doubles or singles for this difficulty at this point.
00:28:584 (28584|0,28695|0) - in my opinion i would watch out for the jacks, it plays well with them, its pretty opinionated Yeah. There's only one jack that I wanted in there (which is the next one you pointed out), but only because it's more isolated.
00:30:584 (30584|0,30695|0) - ^^ ^^
01:24:695 (84695|3) - make a double Done.
01:28:695 (88695|0,88695|2,88695|1,88695|3) - i would make these a similar ln to SC, because it fits the song better and it has the song end in the same location Done.

Final words, have you gotten other people to check this or something? super hard to find mistakes in this, great map bud Nope. Just speedmapped for fun and it looked good, so I uploaded it. ;)
Thank you so much for the mod! :)

Definitely starring this, feels like its a ranked song already

There's not much point to me modding this as it is, the audio is below rankable standards in bitrate and literally hurts my ears to listen to. Your BGs are all wildly different sizes, half of which aren't even in a 16:9 ratio. I wont go into the diffs for now because I value my hearing but feel free to call me back when you've replaced the audio with something thats at least rankable

After a quick scan of the SHD though, it looks like you supremely overmapped it for difficulty

I wont go into the diffs for now because I value my hearing but feel free to call me back when you've replaced the audio with something thats at least rankable I figured it may be something like that as a problem. I blame my audio conversion software. :P
It's just that the source I obtained it from made the audio a little too quiet. I still have the original audio file, so I'll revert back to it for the time being. Also, all of the background are more or less temporary until I can find some better ones. Don't worry, I'm still looking.

After a quick scan of the SHD though, it looks like you supremely overmapped it for difficulty I feared that would happen. But I still feel as if there could be a difficulty up from SC. But I will certainly get back to you on that. :)
Thanks for the heads up.

* 00:04:028 - vocals and instrument sounds missing
* 00:05:584 - has a strong kick find a way to represent it
* 00:57:584 (57584|2,57695|2,57861|2,57972|2) - this stack is particulary hard to hit since there is this structure 00:57:806 (57806|1,57861|2,57917|3,57972|2,58028|1) - included on it
* 00:37:028 - note missing for the drum
* 00:37:139 (37139|3,37139|2,37250|3,37250|2) - dont see any reason for this to full jack, maibe a semi jack would go well since your options are reduced because of the ln and it kinda fits
* 00:40:695 (40695|3,40695|0,40806|3,40806|0) - same as previous suggestion
* 00:37:361 - note missing for drum
* look at 00:37:472 (37472|0,37472|2) - and 00:37:584 (37584|1) - , note density should be the opposite, jump at the downbeat for drum. if you want to campare see 00:37:806 (37806|1,37806|2) -
* 00:41:028 (41028|0,41028|3) - and 00:41:139 (41139|1) - have the same issue from previous suggestion (here if you wanted to emphasize vocals the ln plus note is already enough)
* this ln for vocal 00:40:917 (40917|2) - starts at 00:41:028 -
* 00:45:584 (45584|1,45584|0,45584|3,45695|1,45695|3,45695|0) - sounds aren't repeating, it even sounds clearly different imo, you just need it to do 2 notes jacks instead of three wich dosen't change the effect you wanted did very much (applies for all the hand jacks at this section). use this part 00:13:584 (13584|0,13584|3,13584|1,13695|2,13695|0,13695|1,13917|3,13917|2,13917|0,14028|1,14028|3,14028|0,14250|2,14250|1,14250|3,14361|3,14361|2,14361|0,14584|3,14584|0,14584|1,14695|0,14695|2,14695|3) - as reference to see my point.
* 01:13:361 (73361|2,73361|0,73472|2,73472|0,73584|2,73584|0) - this goes "ta-u-u" and instruments don't repeat sounds, so you could do jacks the the "u-u"
* 01:13:584 - could add note
* 01:26:472 - should be a quad to be coherent with 01:24:695 (84695|1,84695|3,84695|2,84695|0) - .
01:25:584 - too probably but not obligatory imo
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - sounds should be represented, i see that you wanted to make a hiatus after quad but the sounds are just not as weak to ignore
* 01:27:361 (87361|2,87361|3,87417|0,87417|1,87472|2,87472|3,87528|1,87528|0) - isn't as strong as 01:27:584 (87584|3,87584|2,87639|1,87639|0,87695|3,87695|2,87750|1,87750|0,87806|2,87806|3) - also first part of the thrill is on lower pitch, find a way to represent that
* 00:31:028 (31028|2,31139|2) - this jack here was intentional? i mean it makes playing it rly hard but wont ask you to remove if that was your intention
* 00:32:472 (32472|0,32472|3,32547|2,32547|1,32621|3,32621|0,32695|1,32695|2,32769|3,32769|0,32843|1,32843|2,32917|0,32917|3,32991|2,32991|1,33065|0,33065|3) - dont find any reason to change to 1/6 i mean music dosen't play on that snap (the sounds are on a 1/8 snap). i see that this sound is kinda unique in the song , it happens only once, but its not an argument to make it 1/6 and make sure (if you apply) that you use a different pattern for what i just meant
* at this kiai you avoided almost every shield but this one 00:59:695 (59695|2,59806|2) - wich is inconsistent
* (related to previous suggestion) 00:57:917 (57917|3,58028|3) - here i wont complain since you would need to break your pattern , but keep an eye on it if someone else bring it.
* 00:42:917 (42917|3,43139|3,43250|3,43472|3,43695|3,43806|3) - this stack stresses finger at column 4 with no purpose

kanna sc
* 00:13:584 (13584|3,13584|2,13584|1,13695|2,13695|1,13695|3,13917|3,13917|1,13917|0,14028|3,14028|1,14028|0,14250|2,14250|1,14250|0,14361|2,14361|1,14361|0,14584|3,14584|2,14584|0,14695|3,14695|2,14695|0) - again don't see any reason to jack
* 00:15:361 (15361|0,15361|2,15361|1,15472|1,15472|2,15472|0,15695|3,15695|1,15695|2,15806|3,15806|2,15806|1,16028|1,16028|0,16028|3,16139|1,16139|0,16139|3,16361|3,16361|2,16361|0,16472|2,16472|0,16472|3) - the same
* 00:40:472 (40472|3) - move this around for finger and hand balance
* 00:53:584 - missing strong beat
* 01:27:806 (87806|1,87806|2,87806|0,87917|1,87917|0,87917|2) - dont find theese vocals repeating to jack, dont see jack mood in the music here either
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - missing notes as meant in shd
* you may want to reduce to three lns the ending to differentiate from shd, but not a must ( it would still represent the ending's strong beat correctly imo)
* consider using lns here 00:27:806 -
* this burst 00:30:917 - and 00:32:472 - should roll in different directions
* compare 01:12:472 (72472|0,72584|1,72695|2,72695|0) - and 01:13:361 (73361|1,73472|2,73584|3) - they deserve same note density for consistency

tohru mx
* 00:22:472 - add note for that strong finish
* 00:30:695 - add note for clap
* 00:32:139 - add note for this beat, its an important one
* 00:35:139 (35139|3,35472|3,35695|3,36028|3,36361|3,36584|3) - try to move one of theese notes , preferably one of the middle (just one is ok)
* 00:39:361 (39361|1) - see if you can put this on column one for pitch, if that makes too much trouble with the pattern adjustment keep it that way
* 00:56:250 - and 00:58:028 - note missing for strong beat
* from here and so on consider making downbeats hands where many instrument play at the same time with higher intensity
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - again as meant in the other diffs sounds are ignored i think because you focused too much on vocals
* endinf quad ln could be hand as meant in sc
good luck with your map and hope it helps

Done. Good spot.
* 01:13:361 (73361|2,73361|0,73472|2,73472|0,73584|2,73584|0) - this goes "ta-u-u" and instruments don't repeat sounds, so you could do jacks the the "u-u" Kay.
* 01:13:584 - could add note Done.
* 01:26:472 - should be a quad to be coherent with 01:24:695 (84695|1,84695|3,84695|2,84695|0) - . Done.
01:25:584 - too probably but not obligatory imo I'll put it in.
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - sounds should be represented, i see that you wanted to make a hiatus after quad but the sounds are just not as weak to ignore How about LNs?
* 01:27:361 (87361|2,87361|3,87417|0,87417|1,87472|2,87472|3,87528|1,87528|0) - isn't as strong as 01:27:584 (87584|3,87584|2,87639|1,87639|0,87695|3,87695|2,87750|1,87750|0,87806|2,87806|3) - also first part of the thrill is on lower pitch, find a way to represent that I did something. I hope it's ok.
* 00:31:028 (31028|2,31139|2) - this jack here was intentional? i mean it makes playing it rly hard but wont ask you to remove if that was your intention Not intentional, changed.
* 00:32:472 (32472|0,32472|3,32547|2,32547|1,32621|3,32621|0,32695|1,32695|2,32769|3,32769|0,32843|1,32843|2,32917|0,32917|3,32991|2,32991|1,33065|0,33065|3) - dont find any reason to change to 1/6 i mean music dosen't play on that snap (the sounds are on a 1/8 snap). i see that this sound is kinda unique in the song , it happens only once, but its not an argument to make it 1/6 and make sure (if you apply) that you use a different pattern for what i just meant It's following the harp run on 1/6ths. Bizarre, I agree, but intentional.
* at this kiai you avoided almost every shield but this one 00:59:695 (59695|2,59806|2) - wich is inconsistent Oops.
* (related to previous suggestion) 00:57:917 (57917|3,58028|3) - here i wont complain since you would need to break your pattern , but keep an eye on it if someone else bring it. I'll keep an eye on it then.
* 00:42:917 (42917|3,43139|3,43250|3,43472|3,43695|3,43806|3) - this stack stresses finger at column 4 with no purposeSlight rearragements made.

* 01:27:806 (87806|1,87806|2,87806|0,87917|1,87917|0,87917|2) - dont find theese vocals repeating to jack, dont see jack mood in the music here either Minor change.
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - missing notes as meant in shd Same response.
* you may want to reduce to three lns the ending to differentiate from shd, but not a must ( it would still represent the ending's strong beat correctly imo) Yeah... I'll keep as is.
* consider using lns here 00:27:806 - I'd rather not... I'm not a fan of LNs :P
* this burst 00:30:917 - and 00:32:472 - should roll in different directions Reversed the first one.
* compare 01:12:472 (72472|0,72584|1,72695|2,72695|0) - and 01:13:361 (73361|1,73472|2,73584|3) - they deserve same note density for consistency Done.

* 00:22:472 - add note for that strong finish I'm going to keep it as is. I'm trying to avoid minijacks on a column here unless they are in clearly defined places. The cymbal crash has already been taken into account with the double rather than a single.
* 00:30:695 - add note for clap Done.
* 00:32:139 - add note for this beat, its an important one Done
* 00:35:139 (35139|3,35472|3,35695|3,36028|3,36361|3,36584|3) - try to move one of theese notes , preferably one of the middle (just one is ok) I see what you mean, but again I'm trying to avoid minijacking which is why they're positioned like this.
* 00:39:361 (39361|1) - see if you can put this on column one for pitch, if that makes too much trouble with the pattern adjustment keep it that way I tried I think?
* 00:56:250 - and 00:58:028 - note missing for strong beat I'm going to keep the priority to the 1/4 stream here, unless someone else brings it up again.
* from here and so on consider making downbeats hands where many instrument play at the same time with higher intensity Difficult whilst avoiding the minijack.
* 01:28:028 - and 01:28:139 - again as meant in the other diffs sounds are ignored i think because you focused too much on vocals I don't think these are ends of noises, and yeah, priority to vocals here since they are the most prominent.
* endinf quad ln could be hand as meant in sc Don't understand this
good luck with your map and hope it helps
Tons of help and a load of ideas. Thank you so much for the mod! :)

Alright, back from my queue with another mod. good job on finding a good audio file!

You can not use default hitsounds. It might sound fine with your skin but for the majority it wont. For example, you've used "whistle" a lot throughout the maps but on my skin, whistle has no sound to it at all. So randomly I just lose hitsounds and it's really off putting.

SHD
I'm sorry but you should just delete this diff. The song is no where near strong enough to support something of this caliber. I admire your effort but it's just overmapped and critically flawed. You'd be hard pressed to find a TV size that could actually be mapped like this

SC
Ok now this should be your top diff. You could even make it slightly harder if you emphasize the right areas

Try to emphasize the strong sounds more than the weak sounds in your patterns. The easiest way to do this obviously, is just to add more keys. So as an example, here at 00:01:806 (1806|1) - you have this pattern . The strong sounds are on the white tick in the middle and the red tick at the end, while all the other ticks have weak sounds. The problem with your current pattern is that it places the strong sounds on the same level as the weak sounds which doesn't play very well or make a whole lot of sense. So a possible solution would be something like this . Here I removed the doubles from the weak blue ticks and added another note to the last red tick. Not only does this flow better, it also places the focus on the doubles since they stand out much more which makes a lot more sense than having everything doubled. You want to map to the song. If you just map to the sounds, you'll end up with a mess.

00:03:139 (3139|2) - Being consistent in the context of your sections is also very important. You have a stream here and every note is mapped to a sound. But that doesn't mean it fits! The sounds you're mapping to actually continue beyond the stream but you left it empty. If you look at the surrounding patterns, it feels very out of place for a part of the song that sounds different to the rest. A proposed solution would be something like . This pattern differentiates itself from the surrounding patterns which emphasizes the "ooooa" vocal in the music. Leaving gaps on the blue ticks as well helps to emphasize the next "oooa" as well. This is what you want to do, maybe not this pattern, but unique patterns that work with the music. Mapping every possible sound just leaves you with a homogeneous mess that only uses the music as a tool to keep timing.

00:07:417 (7417|1,7472|0,7528|3,7584|2) - This is overmapping. While there is a sound there, it's not distinct enough on 1/6 ticks to be worth mapping with singles. LNs would be more suitable.

00:13:584 (13584|1,13584|3,13584|2,13695|2,13695|3,13695|1) - The paired sounds in this section are fundamentally different from each other. Try doing something like this to reflect that

00:15:139 (15139|1) - rule of thumb: don't use quads, ever. They have their place, but that place is few and far between.

00:17:361 (17361|1) - It's important for your maps note density to be exactly correlated with the intensity of the music. In other words, This section is if anything, more intense than the start but its way easier.

00:22:472 (22472|2) - while we're on the topic, try to keep difficulty spikes relatively smoothed out. Going from 1-2-1-2 patterns to jumptrills when the music gets only slightly stronger feels very wrong

00:29:361 (29361|2,29472|2,29584|2) - Heavy stacks like this on one hand are very uncomfortable to play, I'd recommend switching it up.

kiai, doesn't work like this. Keep it reserved for longer sections. I see what you were trying to go for but it's just not a good idea.

The things i've mentioned here are general concepts with examples attached to them. The examples aren't the only instances in the diff with these issues. Since it's a short song, I'd advise remapping while thinking about these concepts. Feel free to contact me in game or through forum PM if you have any questions!

Good luck!

I'd really like to keep this diff in somewhat, so although its state is not that good currently, I'll be working on it a lot.

I'm kind of wavering on this one. (Although there is one I will likely change later on.) It's a quick run, I don't think it would do too much harm left in.

00:13:584 (13584|1,13584|3,13584|2,13695|2,13695|3,13695|1) - The paired sounds in this section are fundamentally different from each other. Try doing something like this to reflect that Aww... would have liked to keep the full jack, but minis will do.

00:15:139 (15139|1) - rule of thumb: don't use quads, ever. They have their place, but that place is few and far between. I was struggling to put more emphasis in with the triples beforehand. Kinda sorted itself out, mostly.

00:17:361 (17361|1) - It's important for your maps note density to be exactly correlated with the intensity of the music. In other words, This section is if anything, more intense than the start but its way easier. I'll look into it.

Going from 1-2-1-2 patterns to jumptrills when the music gets only slightly stronger feels very wrong I removed the single in the middle to make the transition much easier. Still think the emphasis here is needed though.

00:29:361 (29361|2,29472|2,29584|2) - Heavy stacks like this on one hand are very uncomfortable to play, I'd recommend switching it up. Will do.

Hi Asherz, NM from ExNeko's Modding Queue (He is busy these days so I take it first, if u think mine is not as good u can still request him :3)

Overall:

"Fhana" should be "fhana"

And SHD Diff, hmm, I have learnt ur wish to keep it, but to say the truth i think considering this song, no matter BPM or the sound used in the song, mapping 5 stars should be considered as overmapping, and I don't think that diff is rankable. U can consider whether to delete it or not. I will not talk more on that.

MX:

00:13:139 (13139|2,13139|3,13361|1) - here the sound is so clear but u ignore it and catch the weaker sound before that.

01:04:250 - listen carefully, is it really like this?

Overall, ur maps need more consideration, sometimes i find ur sound catching is a little bit not corresponding to the music, slow down and repeat listening to figure out the right time to place. After this considering pattern developing.

Anyway really like this song, hope to see it ranked finally with ur effort ;)

  1. 00:33:139 - Long notes might confuse newbie players, like me xD These are so intense..
  2. 00:50:917 - To be honest you may use Long notes here, kiai times are always harder than the whole diff :v
  3. 01:24:695 - As I said..Sudden density increasing :(

  1. Isn't OD7 better?Because there isn't too many LN :D Debatable. Considering the NM diff is realistically the EZ diff for most maps, this one is effectively EZ-, thus I think below 7 shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
  2. 00:50:917 - You could make here a little harder..It's kiai,try to use 1/1 notes :) I could, but I won't
  3. 01:00:695 (60695|1) - Clap hitsound isn't good imo..Try with whistle It's part of an HS pattern here.
  4. 01:16:695 (76695|0) - Rhythm goes finish,then..oh what the,sounds bad :( Removed whistle HS
  5. 01:18:472 (78472|1) - ^ ^
  6. 01:19:361 - Wowowowow..Sudden rhythm increasing, review here imo This small section here is pretty much the hardest 2 seconds of the map, so it shouldn't cause too much of a problem. Gotta challenge them somewhere, and it's best that it's at the end, right?
[NM]
  • OD8 would be much better OD 8 seems like overkill for a 1* map.
  1. 00:33:139 - Long notes might confuse newbie players, like me xD These are so intense.. That's what the easier diff was made for.
  2. 00:50:917 - To be honest you may use Long notes here, kiai times are always harder than the whole diff :v They can be, but it's only a rule of thumb, so they don't really have to be.
  3. 01:24:695 - As I said..Sudden density increasing :( A more difficult final section should be fine (even if annoying for players if they fail here.
[HD]
  1. Too hard, you should nerf it imo
Welp, looks good but nerf it please ;_; Seems fine for a 2* diff, which is where I wanted this diff roughly to be. Somewhat challenging.
I tried to point out the problems on easy diffs,I hope it's helpful to you :3 Certainly helped from the perspective of a newer player. Although very few changes accepted, the different ideas made me think about them a little more.
Thanks so much for the mod! :)

1:28:695 - remove one of the note ? I think the quad should be fine. It's the end of the song, so there's no jacking here, which I what I wanted to avoid.
Kobayashi (SHD)
00:01:139 remove one note ? 3 notes is enough ? I'm starting with triples, and there's even more emphasis here, which only leaves me with the quad.

I understand what you're trying to get at with this. Yeah, the map appears to be a little understarred because of these streams, but this is part of the gimmick of this difficulty. (Check the mapset description in the initial forum topic post.) If this really becomes a problem for other people at this difficulty,
then I will change it, but I'd really like not to.

Sure. But I moved it to col 4 instead.00:32:472 (32472|3,32472|0,32547|2,32547|1,32621|3,32621|0,32695|2,32695|1,32769|3,32769|0,32843|2,32843|1,32917|3,32917|0,32991|1,32991|2,33065|3,33065|0) - You used wrong patter for that .. used 1/8 stair for that part pls You think so? 01:22:695 (82695|3,82695|1,82695|0,82806|2,82806|3,82806|0,82917|0,82917|2,82917|3,82917|1) - Seems better > http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7711332 That would render it easier than SC. Though I did change it to a triple-double-quad.

I'll keep looking about "custom" hitsounds are currently with the default, so I need to go find a library or something for this one. Though I did go through the audio again. There are actually a lot of cymbal crashes, though not as loud as the hitsound. There are actually some places where I completely missed the crashes as well, so I'll go through the hitsounding on each map again.

Hi from our M4M agreement from #modreqs~

feel free to reject anything you don't agree with. These are all just my personal suggestions

Kanna
00:50:529 (50529|0) - there should definitely be a note over here
also since this difficulty is supposed to be focused on mini- and semijacks you could try adding these things https://puu.sh/vkZ7H/79bb419303.png at some places in your map
im just saying this since the jacks are only located at the difficulty spikes in your map but none in the quieter parts of it.
Tohru
00:13:417 (13417|3) - Not sure if this really is a sound in the music but i think it would be correct to place a note here (also you did pretty much the same thing here 00:45:417 (45417|3) - )
Fafnir
00:21:973 (21973|1) - please put a note somewhere in here instead of just leaving this as a gap (because the gap really interrupts the flow of the map)
01:03:529 (63529|1) - 01:05:084 (65084|1) - this part is quite a difficulty spike i recommend at least moving 01:04:751 (64751|2) - to col 1 and 01:04:862 (64862|1) - to col 2 to make a nice and easy stair pattern
01:27:084 (87084|1) - - 01:27:862 (87862|1) - I recommend putting some stairs in between these two notes like you did in the higher diffs since it fits with the difficulty of the map
Quetzalcoatl
00:49:973 (49973|2) - 00:50:862 (50862|2) - This part feels kinda inappropriate consider changing it into something like this https://puu.sh/vkYG7/423912d740.jpg
00:57:973 (57973|0) - 2 note chord here?
01:12:195 (72195|0) - ^
01:15:751 (75751|1) - ^
01:17:529 (77529|1) - ^
01:19:306 (79306|0) - ^
01:21:973 (81973|2) - ^
01:22:862 (82862|1) - ^
01:23:751 (83751|0) - ^
01:27:751 (87751|2) - 01:27:973 (87973|1) - maybe change these two notes into something like this https://puu.sh/vkYC9/15ef79a365.png (2 1/2 beat notes really don't fit with the music)
maybe rename the diff to Lucoa since it sounds nicer?

I really like this entire mapset it's fun to play and I would to see it get ranked
Good luck!

01:03:529 (63529|1) - 01:05:084 (65084|1) - this part is quite a difficulty spike i recommend at least moving 01:04:751 (64751|2) - to col 1 and 01:04:862 (64862|1) - to col 2 to make a nice and easy stair pattern Eh, I was trying for the reverse stair pattern, but I'll change it anyway.
01:27:084 (87084|1) - - 01:27:862 (87862|1) - I recommend putting some stairs in between these two notes like you did in the higher diffs since it fits with the difficulty of the map Sure.
Quetzalcoatl
00:49:973 (49973|2) - 00:50:862 (50862|2) - This part feels kinda inappropriate consider changing it into something like this https://puu.sh/vkYG7/423912d740.jpg Fair enough.
00:57:973 (57973|0) - 2 note chord here?
01:12:195 (72195|0) - ^
01:15:751 (75751|1) - ^
01:17:529 (77529|1) - ^
01:19:306 (79306|0) - ^ This and all above accepted.
01:21:973 (81973|2) - ^ This and below... I'll keep this section simple.
01:22:862 (82862|1) - ^
01:23:751 (83751|0) - ^
01:27:751 (87751|2) - 01:27:973 (87973|1) - maybe change these two notes into something like this https://puu.sh/vkYC9/15ef79a365.png (2 1/2 beat notes really don't fit with the music) Removed second note.
maybe rename the diff to Lucoa since it sounds nicer? Eh... ;-;

I really like this entire mapset it's fun to play and I would to see it get ranked Me too :)
Good luck!
Thanks for the mod! :)

heyoo. NM request from: p/5949275#p5949275

EZ
Uncheck widescreen support since you dont have a storyboard and make OD at least 7 or higher
Last kiai is not even needed since there are no notes in that section (same goes for all diff.)

NM
uncheck widescreen support and make OD 8 or higher
00:28:640 - move that note in 2nd column

didn't have much time to mod the rest. Good Luck!! :)

Uncheck widescreen support since you dont have a storyboard Shouldn't really make much of a difference anyway, but I removed it regardless. and make OD at least 7 or higher Alright. HP staying at 6 though.
Last kiai is not even needed since there are no notes in that section (same goes for all diff.) Sure.

NM
uncheck widescreen support and make OD 8 or higher It scales with the rest of the mapset. It would mean that MX would need to be something like OD 9.5, which is a little bit silly imo.
00:28:640 - move that note in 2nd column I don't actually know what you're trying to get at here. There isn't a note in the 2nd column.

didn't have much time to mod the rest. Good Luck!! :)

"Elma's BG" looks kinda low in quality idk

default hitsound ew

think you missing some tags, you can copy it from here -> https://osu.ppy.sh/s/556757

idk about the romanised title should be "Aozora no Rhapsody" or RHAPSODY OF BLUE SKY". maybe you can PM someone that are actually fond with metadata confirmation t/480331

[EZ]

only 0,68? wut in celestia
when i see it, you literally put a note in every downbeat lol. Its really uncommon to see a diff below 1* in general.

00:14:417 (14417|1,16195|0) - should be snapped 1/4 below (blue line). you should noticed that the cymbal isnt exactly on downbeat. probably will mislead players

00:33:084 (33084|0,34862|2,36640|1,38417|3,40195|2,41973|1,43751|0) - ok i dont think this pattern will works on EZ diffs in general.
newbies almost got no precision to release an LN correctly without another notes beside it. thus they probably will getting a hard time to 300g this.
all you need just extend the LN to the downbeat, so they are connected each other.

another reason that i concern that this LN literally follows nothing in particular. each LN contains kick, snare, crash which is not fit with the current LN mapping

00:46:417 (46417|1,48195|2) - snap it 1/4 below

01:05:084 (65084|2,66862|1,68640|3,70417|0) - same concern

01:16:640 (76640|0,78417|1) - snap it below again

so.... i dont think this diff is really necessary to exist. its kinda subjective but this is generally too boring, even for a newbies. Some instruments may correctly snapped with the notes, but this diff generally ignore most of the important instruments that are exist in this song. some of those important sound is not even snapped on downbeat.

[NM]

00:04:640 (4640|3) - pretty sure you can doubled this for cymbal emphasis
00:08:195 (8195|1) - ^
applies to all similar thing

00:08:195 (8195|1) -

ok do you.... really.... expect people to progress this much? i dont think so
we didnt rely on the Star rating apparently, we care about the difficulty curve. so here, from a simple beat (NM) progressed into a dense 1/2 stream + LNs? (HD). I dont see that friendly enough for most players that want to progress step by step

00:13:529 (13529|3) -

i dont uderstand here, what noise you want to follow? please be consistent. also the Hitsound is messed up too

00:42:640 - aw cmon you really ignoring this obvious crash?

00:45:529 (45529|2,45973|3,46417|1) - same concern as - 00:13:529 -

kiai part seems to be the best part of your mapping here, probably because the instruments are consistent on each downbeat.

01:03:751 (63751|1) - pretty sure it should be snapped to 1/4 below

01:16:640 (76640|0) - 01:18:417 (78417|0) - unsnapped cymbal. see HD

There is so much you need to fix here, regarding the gap between this and HD which is kinda unecessary, and the use of HS consistency still really messed up

[HD]

this is probably the best diff you mapped so far, but ofc still need more polishing

00:04:640 (4640|1,4640|0) - probably unecessary to use a double LN. just change to Normal note because the player might be screwed to hit these notes - 00:04:862 (4862|2,5084|3) -

00:05:306 (5306|2,5529|1) - if you accept above, you can ctrl+g this so the kick emphasis make much more sense since its also contains high pitched instruments and a better gimmick to approach - 00:05:751 (5751|0) -

00:08:195 (8195|0) - Normal note and add a note at - 00:08:417 -. you literally ignoring the instruments there so its misleading

00:20:529 (20529|0) - if you were following the BG violin(?) these shouldnt exist.

00:27:529 (27529|2,27640|1,27751|0,27973|3) - and now you didnt follow the BG violin? where's the consistencies?

01:12:195 (72195|0,73084|2) - and etc. this are all cymbals but you didnt map it as doubles? it doesnt seem to be really fit. just add note alongside the LNs.

01:27:862 (87862|3,87862|0) - hey the drumroll doesnt stop here you know

needs some more polishing here so yeah....

[MX]

nitpicky times

00:01:529 (1529|2) - kick but why only singles?
00:03:306 (3306|0) - clap but why singles?
same thing applied to all similar

00:05:084 (5084|1,5306|1,5640|1,5973|1) - inconsistent anchor spacing, try something like :

00:20:529 (20529|0) - again this shouldnt be exist.

00:25:973 (25973|3,26417|2,26529|1,26640|3,26751|1,26862|0) - may god give you mercy of this uncomfortably hand balance wwww
anyways this is how i will do if this was my own mapset

00:33:084 (33084|3) - okay everything seems goo- WHAT THE

okay whats with this full 1/4? some of those notes doesnt even have a beat or any interposing noise that could be hearded in 100% playback. ex: - 00:34:529 (34529|1) -. Its not obligatory to follow every single noise you hearded, it should be musically make sense and give a proper feedback to the players, which is this pattern doesnt have.

kiai got the same problem anyways

01:27:862 (87862|1,87862|3) - drumroll doesnt end here pls

i'd say you need to remap that full 1/4 part because they dont musically follows anything and break all the consistency.

[SC]

00:02:862 (2862|0,2862|3,2862|1) - any reason why is this triple for a kick noises? it not even have a cymbal or a clap so using triple is kinda overmapped

00:04:640 (4640|0,4640|3,4640|1) - ^

00:07:362 (7362|1,7417|0,7473|3,7529|2) - this piano is actually exist until - 00:08:195 (8195|2,8195|3) -

00:17:751 (17751|1) - aw cmon this is the hardest diff and you still mapping clap with singles?

00:18:862 (18862|1,18862|3) - and then a random doubles appear for a kick? where's the consistency?

00:21:084 (21084|3,21084|2,21306|0,21306|3) - apparently this doesnt seem to be consistent with - 00:19:306 (19306|3,19417|0,19529|1,19640|2) - even though they are musically the same and have the same instruments as well

00:26:640 (26640|2) - clap is here. not - 00:26:751 (26751|1,26751|3) - therefore the clap should have a double since its musically make sense

00:31:862 - missing a kick

00:33:084 (33084|1,33084|0,33084|3) - now you see you didnt use a full 1/4 like you do in the HD so....

01:13:973 (73973|1,75084|1,75306|1,75529|1,75751|1) - uhhh

01:27:862 (87862|3,87862|2,87862|1) - why are you following the vocal? mapping the drumroll will be pretty much more make sense

I think i'll stop here. I dont think this map is nowhere ready to be pushed forward. my concern is mainly about the inconsistencies on the patterning also the Hitsounding. you need to understand how the notes actually represent the music. for example, you use triple for crash, double for kick / clap, etc.try testplaying your diff many times until you really satisfied with the pattern.

turns out the mod looks really crappy :/ but some of my mod here could actually be applied to all section that seems similar to the point i've mentioned c:

also about the song, not that i dislike it but apparently its quite hard to be mapped properly. (which is why there are no Aozora no rhapsody maps ever ranked until now)

i recommend to seek for more mods and selfmod your map oftenly. as of now, good luck ;) If you have any question, feel free to PM me in game.

this is probably the best diff you mapped so far, but ofc still need more polishing

00:04:640 (4640|1,4640|0) - probably unecessary to use a double LN. just change to Normal note because the player might be screwed to hit these notes - 00:04:862 (4862|2,5084|3) Fair enough.

00:08:195 (8195|0) - Normal note and add a note at - 00:08:417 -. you literally ignoring the instruments there so its misleading I was going for vocals but oh well.

00:20:529 (20529|0) - if you were following the BG violin(?) these shouldnt exist. I was indeed, and yes they should. The violin grace notes came on 1/8s, so I simplified it a little.

01:12:195 (72195|0,73084|2) - and etc. this are all cymbals but you didnt map it as doubles? it doesnt seem to be really fit. just add note alongside the LNs. Done.

01:27:862 (87862|3,87862|0) - hey the drumroll doesnt stop here you know I know it doesn't, but I wanted to emphasise the vocals more here, since everything except the drums stops at the end of the stream.

same thing applied to all similar

[SC]

00:02:862 (2862|0,2862|3,2862|1) - any reason why is this triple for a kick noises? it not even have a cymbal or a clap so using triple is kinda overmapped Fair enough.

00:04:640 (4640|0,4640|3,4640|1) - ^ ^

00:07:362 (7362|1,7417|0,7473|3,7529|2) - this piano is actually exist until - 00:08:195 (8195|2,8195|3) - Piano? 00:07:306 (7306|3,7306|2,7362|1,7417|0,7473|3,7529|2) follows the most audible part of the gliss down (First note is attacked the most, thus the double), and 00:07:751 (7751|3,7751|2,7973|1,7973|0,8195|3,8195|2) reverts back to following the vocals.

00:17:751 (17751|1) - aw cmon this is the hardest diff and you still mapping clap with singles? Yup. Because the opening section focuses more around the vocals than anything else, these remained as singles. 4 sometimes isn't enough. Would have liked to have kept everything, but I think with clap doubles the section lost its playability. Also, being the easiest section in the song, I don't think it's too much of a problem.

00:18:862 (18862|1,18862|3) - and then a random doubles appear for a kick? where's the consistency? Not changing. I'll tell you the consistency. Not in the immediate vicinity, but the 8-bar phrase from 00:17:084. On each of the new measures, it goes triple-double-double-double, then triple-double-double-double again. Not random imo.

00:21:084 (21084|3,21084|2,21306|0,21306|3) - apparently this doesnt seem to be consistent with - 00:19:306 (19306|3,19417|0,19529|1,19640|2) - even though they are musically the same and have the same instruments as well What? 00:20:862 (20862|2,20862|0,21084|3,21084|2,21306|0,21306|3,21529|2,21529|3,21751|0,21751|1) follows the strings and that weird perc sound. Besides, bars 2 and 3 of a 4-bar pattern aren't normally the same.

00:26:640 (26640|2) - clap is here. not - 00:26:751 (26751|1,26751|3) - therefore the clap should have a double since its musically make sense Also musically makes sense to emphasise the syncopation, which both vocals and backgroun synth are on.

00:31:862 - missing a kick Added.

00:33:084 (33084|1,33084|0,33084|3) - now you see you didnt use a full 1/4 like you do in the HD so.... HD changed so...

01:13:973 (73973|1,75084|1,75306|1,75529|1,75751|1) - uhhh uhhh not really a problem imo, but moved the second hl'd note to col 3 anyway.

01:27:862 (87862|3,87862|2,87862|1) - why are you following the vocal? mapping the drumroll will be pretty much more make sense Because that's what I've done on every other diff. Seems a bit counter-intuitive to change it now.

The diffs were more focused around playability more than anything. I test-played to no end and I was already satisfied with the patterns. Hitsounding I knew was already a problem, but it there are much fewer in consistencies than before.

Just because this one wasn't directly pointed out, I'll highlight it myself. 00:13:529 (13529|3,13529|2,13529|1,13640|3,13640|2,13640|1) - the triple-triple ignores the song (triple should really only be on the second of each) in favour of playability. Much easier to play than a double-triple. That's it.

turns out the mod looks really crappy :/ but some of my mod here could actually be applied to all section that seems similar to the point i've mentioned c:
Not at all. I will double check though.

also about the song, not that i dislike it but apparently its quite hard to be mapped properly. (which is why there are no Aozora no rhapsody maps ever ranked until now) Well... song was only released around 3 months ago, and yeah, there are some notes that are a little ambiguous about where to put them.

Hey, finally I post this mod! ^^ Sorry about that forgetting.
So let's go :)
EZ
Indeed perfect for beginners and very clear.

-00:22:417 (22417|0,22417|1,23195|2,23195|3,24195|0,24195|1) - Copy paste from.... -> 00:14:306 (14306|0,14306|1,15306|2,15306|3,16084|1,16084|0,17084|2,17084|3) -

Same at 00:29:529 and 00:46:306.
- 01:05:084 (65084|2,65529|3,66417|0) - Maybe, I would add a note between the other two. However, I understand it sounds better but in my opinion during the chorus, it have to be more dynamic.

I checked hitsounds and it seems good.

NM
That diff is pretty easy too and nothing seems bad.

In my opinion on one pattern disturbs me -> 00:45:529 (45529|2,45640|3,45862|1,45973|0,46195|2,46306|3,46529|1,46640|0) -
I reckon those paterns are pretty hard, I mean I prefer to do it with both hands like that.

|----|
|-o--|
|---o|
|----|
|--o-|
|o---|

Maybe this is only me but as a beginner I think those patterns are pretty annoying.

- I checked hitsounds too and it seems to be good.

HD
Pretty dynamic map and nice stairs. I very like that diff! ^^

- 01:27:751 (87751|1,87751|3,87862|0,87862|2) - -> I don't very like those two chords, Maybe pref this pattern.

The rest is good too.

MX
Also like this one. Good job :)

- 00:20:640 (20640|1) - there is a cymbal here you should add a note here like all other times.

I don't really have stuff do say about that diff... D:

SC
Hmmmmmm.... UHHH. I'm very disappointed with this. Some paterns are muddled.

- 00:13:529 (13529|3,13529|2,13529|1,13640|1,13640|2,13640|3,13862|0,13862|2,13862|1,13973|0,13973|1,13973|2,14195|0,14195|3,14195|1,14306|0,14306|3,14306|1,14529|0,14529|2,14529|3,14640|2,14640|0,14640|3) - The sound is not the same you could change this like that. It makes this easier tho.

Same thing at 00:15:306 and 00:45:529 ect.

-00:25:751 (25751|0,25806|1,25862|2,25917|3) - I'm ok with that but with you choose stairs here? You can just put long note : The sound keep playing 4 times in a row. You can do something like that (just an example with LN) . The notes are misplaced :

You can do that, while removing the stairs.

- 00:30:862 (30862|3,30917|2,30973|1,31029|0,31084|3,31140|2,31195|1,31251|0) - Like.. Why not but I don't really understand this. I heard the sound you want to highlight but I don't really think this is the best way to do it. However, I don't have the answer to this. In my opinion there are too many notes for the sound..

- 01:15:751 (75751|3,75751|1,75862|3,75973|2,75973|3) - Uhh. Jacks here. move this note -> 01:15:862 (75862|3) -

- Same thing here 01:20:084 (80084|3,80195|3) -

I think this is over ^^. On the whole this is a good map despite the last diff which had disappointed me.
Good luck if you wanna get this ranked. :D
If you need me for more explications just PM me. Cya 8-)

-00:22:417 (22417|0,22417|1,23195|2,23195|3,24195|0,24195|1) - Copy paste from.... -> 00:14:306 (14306|0,14306|1,15306|2,15306|3,16084|1,16084|0,17084|2,17084|3) - Whoops. Not intentional. I was trying to keep all doubles one-handed at this point though. Might you, the emphases I'm making here are more or less identical, so the only thing I could do is ctrl + h.

Same at 00:29:529 and 00:46:306. The second bit I could probably change. New section and all.
- 01:05:084 (65084|2,65529|3,66417|0) - Maybe, I would add a note between the other two. However, I understand it sounds better but in my opinion during the chorus, it have to be more dynamic. Fair point. I'll put one in.

I see what you mean... Being an awkward pattern, I don't really know what to do with this at the moment. I'll keep as is for the time being, since using both hands each time may be a little awkward,
though I will definitely reconsider if another modder brings it up.

|----|
|-o--|
|---o|
|----|
|--o-|
|o---|

Maybe this is only me but as a beginner I think those patterns are pretty annoying.

- I checked hitsounds too and it seems to be good.

HD
Pretty dynamic map and nice stairs. I very like that diff! ^^

- 01:27:751 (87751|1,87751|3,87862|0,87862|2) - -> I don't very like those two chords, Maybe pref this pattern. Yeah looks better.

The rest is good too.

MX
Also like this one. Good job :)

- 00:20:640 (20640|1) - there is a cymbal here you should add a note here like all other times. Whoops.

Nice idea. Yeah, decreases SR, but so what? Not directly as suggested, but maybe a different idea. I'm gonna revert this change. Sadly, as I playtested this idea it made the map much more difficult than it needs to be.
aaaaaaaa I can't make up my mind D:

Same thing at 00:15:306 and 00:45:529 ect.

-00:25:751 (25751|0,25806|1,25862|2,25917|3) - I'm ok with that but with you choose stairs here? You can just put long note : The sound keep playing 4 times in a row. You can do something like that (just an example with LN) . The notes are misplaced :

You can do that, while removing the stairs. I'll ask you about this one. Not 100% sure what you're trying to get at here. Remapped to vocals

Fair enough. Probably better to follow vocals here since they're more prominent.

- 01:15:751 (75751|3,75751|1,75862|3,75973|2,75973|3) - Uhh. Jacks here. move this note -> 01:15:862 (75862|3) - That note wasn't meant to exist.

- Same thing here 01:20:084 (80084|3,80195|3) - Changed to jack only in one hand rather than both.

I think this is over ^^. On the whole this is a good map despite the last diff which had disappointed me.
Good luck if you wanna get this ranked. :D
If you need me for more explications just PM me. Cya 8-)

Eh fairs, forgive me for not knowing those musical instruments correctly xd. (also, english is hard xd)

Being the easiest huh? although the song pace are being the fastest among all the section? that sounds contradicted.

Not random imo. i saw the intention now xd but reconsider this if you change something around

Besides, bars 2 and 3 of a 4-bar pattern aren't normally the same.
well then you missing a kick at - 00:21:195 - and - 00:21:417 - in representing the consistency with - 00:17:751 (17751|1,17862|2) - and - 00:19:417 (19417|0,19529|1,19640|2) -
00:26:640 (26640|2) - clap is here. not - 00:26:751 (26751|1,26751|3) - therefore the clap should have a double since its musically make sense Also musically makes sense to emphasise the syncopation, which both vocals and backgroun synth are on.
so why is this - 00:28:417 (28417|1,28417|3,28529|0) - not the same? iirc syncopation is a condition where there's some unusual beats on a certain measure. from what i see here - 00:26:417 (26417|0,26529|1,26640|2,26751|3,26751|1) - these rythm are kick-kick(altho sounds quite faint idk)-clap-kick. You see the 3 out of 4 rythm are kicks, with clap occured on 3/4. if you want it to follow the term syncopation, you should at least change it to something similar with - 00:28:195 (28195|3,28306|2,28417|1,28417|3,28529|0) - PS: there's no synth i could hear of :u

00:33:084 (33084|1,33084|0,33084|3) - now you see you didnt use a full 1/4 like you do in the HD so.... HD changed so... I MEAN MX AAAAA BRAIN DAMMIT. anyways i see it now and i think should be ok as of now.

01:27:862 (87862|3,87862|2,87862|1) - why are you following the vocal? mapping the drumroll will be pretty much more make sense Because that's what I've done on every other diff. Seems a bit counter-intuitive to change it now. sorry its just my OCD xd since mania mostly only focused on instruments stuff, so following a vocal entirely is highly discouraged most of the time. mapping vocal could be really hard for some players since vocal are not usually constant with the song instruments making the players should time their finger indepedence more hard unless you know the song really well already
just to clarify something because i was modding this at early morning so my explanation is really messed ahahaha xD

Thanks for the clarification. Seems I still need to think some things through. Still annoyed at the rounding that I need to do, since most of these 1/4 graces are actually not really on any bit of the beat... :s

2017-04-27 16:31 Mykaterasu: so what happened 00:03:973 - here
2017-04-27 16:32 Asherz007: Uh... XD
2017-04-27 16:32 Asherz007: single col 3?

2017-04-27 16:32 Mykaterasu: that would be good
2017-04-27 16:32 Mykaterasu: :s
2017-04-27 16:32 Asherz007: Whoops lol
2017-04-27 16:33 Mykaterasu: This diff as a whole has a lot fewer objects than mine
2017-04-27 16:33 Mykaterasu: so it feels empty for me
2017-04-27 16:33 Mykaterasu: but it's still right so that's good
2017-04-27 16:33 Asherz007: ikr
2017-04-27 16:34 Mykaterasu: might be too much tension on lane 3 here 00:08:195 (8195|2) -
2017-04-27 16:35 Mykaterasu: you've got like 3 lane 1,3 chords
2017-04-27 16:35 Mykaterasu: four even
2017-04-27 16:35 Mykaterasu: while this lane 4 LN is happening
2017-04-27 16:36 Mykaterasu: maybe if you find a way to turn one 1,3 chord into a 2,3 chord you could ease the tension in lane 3 by putting more singles in lane 1
2017-04-27 16:36 Asherz007: It's tough this one.... hmm...
2017-04-27 16:36 Mykaterasu: one of these 00:09:529 (9529|0,9529|2,9973|2,9973|0) - preferably
2017-04-27 16:37 Asherz007: I'll try lol
2017-04-27 16:39 Asherz007: I think the only reason col 3 was strained was because of 00:08:862 (8862|1,8973|2,9084|1,9195|2,9306|1) - I'd rather this not be one-handed
2017-04-27 16:39 Mykaterasu: you can still do that by transferring 00:09:306 (9306|1) - to column 1
2017-04-27 16:40 Mykaterasu: makes it pitch relevent with the piano bass note in between the chord riff ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

2017-04-27 16:42 Mykaterasu: oh i missed one of the things
2017-04-27 16:42 Mykaterasu: there's a decent amount of tension in the right lanes 00:07:306 (7306|2,7306|3,7473|3,7529|2,7751|2,7751|3,8195|3,8195|2) - here
2017-04-27 16:43 Asherz007: I could just ctrl h a giant section lol
2017-04-27 16:44 Mykaterasu: You don't have to, I'd make 00:07:751 (7751|2,7751|3,7973|1,7973|0) - these chords 2,3 and 1,4
2017-04-27 16:44 Asherz007: Alright not a bad idea
2017-04-27 16:46 Mykaterasu: honestly for 00:17:084 (17084|0,17084|3,17084|1) - this section there really isn't much or anything wrong
2017-04-27 16:46 Mykaterasu: its quite a safe way to map it
2017-04-27 16:46 Mykaterasu: you could maybe give a bit of love to the offbeat phrases
2017-04-27 16:47 Mykaterasu: but it's good
2017-04-27 16:47 Asherz007: Maybe. Throughout the map I was predominantly following vocals.
2017-04-27 16:47 Mykaterasu: yeah exactly
2017-04-27 16:48 Mykaterasu: I still think you should have this rhythm 00:18:862 (18862|1,19084|0,19306|1,19417|0,19640|2,19862|3,20084|2,20195|3,20417|2) - as singles though
2017-04-27 16:48 Mykaterasu: the bass part is pretty interesting in this section
2017-04-27 16:49 Mykaterasu: (megalovania motif, people like it)
2017-04-27 16:50 Asherz007: Not quite understanding what you want to get at.
2017-04-27 16:50 Mykaterasu: o shit I typoed
2017-04-27 16:50 Mykaterasu: I meant throughout
2017-04-27 16:50 Mykaterasu: not though
2017-04-27 16:50 Mykaterasu: like have that bass part running through the whole section
2017-04-27 16:50 Mykaterasu: not just in that one bar
2017-04-27 16:51 Asherz007: Oh I see. That was not intended lol
2017-04-27 16:51 Mykaterasu: its cause the vocals do that same rhythm once or twice
2017-04-27 16:52 Asherz007: I was following everything but the bass there hehe
2017-04-27 16:53 Mykaterasu: not really a fan of the LNs in this 00:33:084 (33084|0) - section
2017-04-27 16:53 Mykaterasu: I don't really know what they're representing
2017-04-27 16:53 Mykaterasu: I can guess the harmonic structure maybe
2017-04-27 16:54 Mykaterasu: but then 00:33:751 (33751|2,34417|3) - nothing changes here chordwise
2017-04-27 16:54 Mykaterasu: i just overall don't think that the standard dotted rhythm is appropriate here
2017-04-27 16:54 Mykaterasu: it's better for 00:34:862 (34862|1,35529|0,36195|3) - this bar
2017-04-27 16:55 Mykaterasu: and I think you kinda played your cards too early for this section
2017-04-27 16:55 Asherz007: I think I would lose myself in explanation lol
2017-04-27 16:55 Mykaterasu: because you have a similar LN structure in the chorus
2017-04-27 16:55 Mykaterasu: except 1 per measure
2017-04-27 16:55 Asherz007: Sort of a half-follow of chord, vocals and strings.
2017-04-27 16:56 Mykaterasu: in terms of movement and strain it feels like this is more important than the chorus
2017-04-27 16:56 Mykaterasu: or at least on an equal footing with it
2017-04-27 16:58 Asherz007: It's an interesting point you raise. It's just the LNs in the chorus follow different things, I guess.
2017-04-27 16:59 Mykaterasu: it is a toughie
2017-04-27 16:59 Mykaterasu: this section is in general way more rhythmically interesting than the chorus
2017-04-27 16:59 Mykaterasu: it's really annoying
2017-04-27 16:59 Asherz007: mhm definitely.
2017-04-27 17:00 Mykaterasu: honestly the only advice I can give to stop that is to tone back the LNs slightly
2017-04-27 17:00 Asherz007: Definitely want to continue LNs through the entire section though, since I feel the music calls for it.
2017-04-27 17:00 Mykaterasu: it's a big impasse
2017-04-27 17:00 Mykaterasu: you'll need time to decide
2017-04-27 17:00 Mykaterasu: also another missing single 00:54:751 - here
2017-04-27 17:00 Asherz007: So... something similar to the MX diff at this point?
2017-04-27 17:01 Asherz007: Whoops lol
2017-04-27 17:01 Mykaterasu: possibly
2017-04-27 17:01 Mykaterasu: have you experimented with shorter LNs in either section?
2017-04-27 17:02 Mykaterasu: perhaps you don't need to have them fully going into each other
2017-04-27 17:02 Asherz007: I think I tried in the chorus but it felt a little cluttered to me
2017-04-27 17:02 Asherz007: I think I ended up focussing on playability for these sections more than anything else.
2017-04-27 17:03 Mykaterasu: alright then
2017-04-27 17:03 Mykaterasu: I recommend a little shuffle to these repeated 00:43:751 (43751|3,43751|2,43751|0,44195|0,44195|2,44195|3) - 3note chords
2017-04-27 17:04 Mykaterasu: cause they're coming up 00:45:529 (45529|3,45529|2,45529|0) - again a measure later
2017-04-27 17:04 Mykaterasu: 00:44:640 (44640|1,44640|3,44640|2) - and this one too I guess
2017-04-27 17:04 Asherz007: ctrl h 00:43:973 (43973|2,44084|1,44195|3,44195|2,44195|0) - ?
2017-04-27 17:04 Mykaterasu: pretty much yeah that would work
2017-04-27 17:05 Asherz007: Not too sure whether there's a problem with the second one.
2017-04-27 17:06 Mykaterasu: well these chords 00:43:751 (43751|0,43751|3,43751|2,44640|2,44640|1,44640|3) - are a part of this 00:45:529 (45529|0,45529|3,45529|2,45640|2,45640|1,45640|3,45862|3,45862|2,45862|0,45973|1,45973|3,45973|2,46195|0,46195|2,46195|3,46306|3,46306|1,46306|2,46529|3,46529|2,46529|0,46640|2,46640|1,46640|3) - pattern
2017-04-27 17:06 Mykaterasu: so I think something has to give to releave the right lane tension
2017-04-27 17:07 Mykaterasu: but it's a very broad balance point
2017-04-27 17:07 Asherz007: What about moving 00:45:084 (45084|3) - ?
2017-04-27 17:08 Mykaterasu: if you moved that to lane 1 then 00:44:862 (44862|2) - this to lane 4 that would probably distribute it nicely
2017-04-27 17:08 Mykaterasu: also what about 00:45:306 - this vocal?
2017-04-27 17:10 Asherz007: I ignored the vocals for a bar to focus on the strings. Might make the following triples a little awkward mapping both
2017-04-27 17:10 Asherz007: You sure about moving that note to lane 4?
2017-04-27 17:11 Mykaterasu: yeah, cause of this note 00:44:417 (44417|2) - here earlier
2017-04-27 17:11 Mykaterasu: it'd be better to have it in the open space at 4
2017-04-27 17:11 Asherz007: Fair enough.
2017-04-27 17:12 Mykaterasu: and if you're not going to put in 00:45:306 - this vocal you might want to make the string LN a two note chord
2017-04-27 17:12 Mykaterasu: gives a sense of finality that a single LN doesn't really have
2017-04-27 17:13 Mykaterasu: then you can get away with not mapping the vocal
2017-04-27 17:13 Asherz007: One normal one LN?
2017-04-27 17:13 Mykaterasu: yeah
2017-04-27 17:13 Mykaterasu: 2,3 would be awesome
2017-04-27 17:14 Asherz007: That's what I was thinking hehe
2017-04-27 17:14 Mykaterasu: since it's vertically symettricaly
2017-04-27 17:14 Mykaterasu: al*
2017-04-27 17:14 Asherz007: mhm
2017-04-27 17:15 Mykaterasu: I don't really like how 00:49:306 (49306|3,49306|2,49417|1) - this is done
2017-04-27 17:15 Mykaterasu: I feel like the single is stronger than the double
2017-04-27 17:16 Asherz007: Uh... I got no explanation for that...
2017-04-27 17:16 Asherz007: Move col 3 note forward 1/4?
2017-04-27 17:16 Mykaterasu: yep
2017-04-27 17:16 Asherz007: Nice catch
2017-04-27 17:17 Mykaterasu: did I already talk about this note 00:54:751 - here
2017-04-27 17:18 Asherz007: Yeah
2017-04-27 17:18 Asherz007: Put one in already
2017-04-27 17:18 Mykaterasu: nice
2017-04-27 17:19 Mykaterasu: The chorus' structure is rhythmically sound but I'm not sure if you're going for pitch relevancy or some other type of pattern
2017-04-27 17:19 Mykaterasu: at first glance it looks like 00:51:306 (51306|3,51306|1) - these chords are support to be precursors to the chords that will contain the next LN 00:51:751 (51751|1,51751|3) - which would be a really fresh structure
2017-04-27 17:20 Mykaterasu: supposed*
2017-04-27 17:20 Mykaterasu: but sometimes it doesn't happen like that 00:52:195 (52195|2,52195|0,52640|0,52640|1) -
2017-04-27 17:31 Mykaterasu: Aaaand we're back?
2017-04-27 17:36 Asherz007: I guess?
2017-04-27 17:36 Mykaterasu: sweet
2017-04-27 17:36 Mykaterasu: banchub can't keep running for long
2017-04-27 17:36 Asherz007: I'm going through a separate irc client though
2017-04-27 17:37 Asherz007: Hope you got the logs for this one
2017-04-27 17:37 Mykaterasu: I save all my chatlogs clientside ingame
2017-04-27 17:37 Mykaterasu: with the standard function
2017-04-27 17:37 Asherz007: Oh awesome
2017-04-27 17:38 Asherz007: I forgot how you do that lol
2017-04-27 17:38 Mykaterasu: its just an option
2017-04-27 17:38 Asherz007: nvw found it
2017-04-27 17:38 Asherz007: I turned it off somehow lol
2017-04-27 17:38 Mykaterasu: its so useful
2017-04-27 17:38 Mykaterasu: I once forgot my input sensitivity
2017-04-27 17:38 Asherz007: Was there anything else that you wanted to say?
2017-04-27 17:38 Mykaterasu: um maybe
2017-04-27 17:39 Mykaterasu: did you see what I said about 00:51:306 (51306|1,51306|3,51751|3,51751|1) - these chords matching
2017-04-27 17:40 Mykaterasu: back again?
2017-04-27 17:41 Asherz007: Bancho absolutely sucks today lol
2017-04-27 17:42 Mykaterasu: If bancho disconnects again I'm going to finish the mod on the forums
2017-04-27 17:42 Asherz007: Fair enough lol
2017-04-27 17:43 Mykaterasu: so yeah if you're going to have chords like 00:51:306 (51306|3,51306|1,51751|1,51751|3) - this where they match
2017-04-27 17:43 Mykaterasu: try to do it as often as you can
2017-04-27 17:43 Mykaterasu: cause if you do stuff like this 00:52:195 (52195|2,52195|0,52640|1,52640|0) - after wards it might make it look random
2017-04-27 17:43 Mykaterasu: you can always have the first section of the chorus as matching 2note chords
2017-04-27 17:44 Mykaterasu: and then the second half can be variations of 2note chords
2017-04-27 17:44 Mykaterasu: that way it doesn't seem quite as random
2017-04-27 17:45 Asherz007: Hmm...
2017-04-27 17:47 Asherz007: Goddammit lol
2017-04-27 17:47 Mykaterasu: yeah I'll just do the last points on the forum
2017-04-27 17:48 Asherz007: Alrighty then. I think I might try for symmetry on that section you highlighted
2017-04-27 17:48 Mykaterasu: sweet
2017-04-27 17:48 Mykaterasu: thanks for the mod exchange
2017-04-27 17:48 Mykaterasu: good luck with your map
2017-04-27 17:48 Asherz007: dw you too :)

And a couple extra points;
  1. 01:19:751 (79751|2,79751|1,79862|0,79862|3,79973|1,79973|2,80084|3,80084|0,80195|1,80195|0,80195|3) - There is still a push rhythm 01:20:084 - here that should probably take the 3-note chord.
  2. 01:21:529 (81529|3,81529|2,81529|0,81751|3,81751|0,81973|3,81973|1,81973|0,82195|2,82195|0,82417|1,82417|2,82417|0,82640|3,82640|1,82751|0,82751|2,82862|3,82862|1,82862|0) - Random nitpick, if you ctrl-h this whole section, you keep the same tension but make this 01:22:640 (82640|1,82640|3,82751|0,82751|2) - upward movement instead of downward, making it pitch relevant. In reality, you could do some reshuffling and get the same thing, which would be better.
  3. 01:27:862 (87862|1,87862|2,87862|3,88640|1,88640|3,88640|2,88640|0) - I actually really like this rhythm, but I think that using 3LNs is a bit too much.
2 LNs and a note or 1 LN and a note (like the previous time you did this here 00:45:195 (45195|1) - ) would be a little more appropriate imo.

2017-04-27 16:24 Asherz007: Just so kds doesn't get denied for no reason
2017-04-27 16:24 Mykaterasu: oh right
2017-04-27 16:31 Mykaterasu: so what happened 00:03:973 - here
2017-04-27 16:32 Asherz007: Uh... XD
2017-04-27 16:32 Asherz007: single col 3?
2017-04-27 16:32 Mykaterasu: yeah
2017-04-27 16:40 Asherz007: Oh nice idea.

And a couple extra points;
  1. 01:19:751 (79751|2,79751|1,79862|0,79862|3,79973|1,79973|2,80084|3,80084|0,80195|1,80195|0,80195|3) - There is still a push rhythm 01:20:084 - here that should probably take the 3-note chord. Crud. I fixed the HS here but not the actual notes XD
  2. 01:21:529 (81529|3,81529|2,81529|0,81751|3,81751|0,81973|3,81973|1,81973|0,82195|2,82195|0,82417|1,82417|2,82417|0,82640|3,82640|1,82751|0,82751|2,82862|3,82862|1,82862|0) - Random nitpick, if you ctrl-h this whole section, you keep the same tension but make this 01:22:640 (82640|1,82640|3,82751|0,82751|2) - upward movement instead of downward, making it pitch relevant. In reality, you could do some reshuffling and get the same thing, which would be better. Nice idea.
  3. 01:27:862 (87862|1,87862|2,87862|3,88640|1,88640|3,88640|2,88640|0) - I actually really like this rhythm, but I think that using 3LNs is a bit too much.
2 LNs and a note or 1 LN and a note (like the previous time you did this here 00:45:195 (45195|1) - ) would be a little more appropriate imo. Minor bit of shuffling. c:
Thanks a lot for the mod! :)
Bancho you absolute $%@!&% jk but seriously down over 5 times within an hour wth

Man, mapping is hard... ;-;

Remaps suck even more...
And (aaaaaaa) audio change, BGs change and HS change too. Somebody help me... >.<

But hopefully, one day, this will get ranked.

Thanks for the support! cough...

00:12:640 - one more note here since all previous snare sound you make it 2
00:23:084 - make it double since i hear it as snare and 00:23:195 - here become triple coz of the cymbal sound
00:23:973 (23973|1,23973|0) - move it to 00:23:862 - 00:23:973 - a note here and 00:24:084 -

SPOILER
00:00:862 (862|1) - move to 3 coz having the same sound as before Vocal pitch change here. Thought about it before though,
didn't seem to make much sense to me.

00:03:084 - 1 note here 00:03:529 - here too or you can just use ln to cover it to follow that yaa voice XD Ehh this one's a little difficult imo,
since they seem to come on the 1/1 and then the 1/4. The only time where I actually note this is in the SC diff. In any case the overall pattern is more of a 1-measure burst followed by a 1-measure break. If anyone else suggests this then I will consider adding this in again.

00:06:417 (6417|2,6862|3) - same as above ^
01:04:640 - one more note here maybe Hmm... not so sure on this one. Don't really see the extra emphasis for the double.

Fafnir

SPOILER
00:00:640 (640|1,862|2) - move it in one row for same reason as quetzalcoatl See above.
00:23:973 - delete one and add 1 note at 00:24:084 - A scaling pattern with other diffs (it's awkward to copy this pattern for SC meant that I couldn't do this pattern here. Oh well... :(

Tohru

SPOILER
00:00:640 (640|1,862|2) - for the same reason as the difficulty before ^
00:12:640 - one more note here since all previous snare sound you make it 2 Nice spot. Removed that super-long LN since everything became too cramped.
00:23:084 - make it double since i hear it as snare Fair enoughand 00:23:195 - here become triple coz of the cymbal sound I'll save this thought for SC. :P
00:23:973 (23973|1,23973|0) - move it to 00:23:862 - 00:23:973 - a note here and 00:24:084 - More of that pattern thing again. Not particularly following this, though if someone else brings it up I'll take another look at it.
00:24:195 - one more note here Ehhh...
00:24:862 - one more note here for snare sake >.< Oh >.<
00:27:301 - delete one of em Sure.
00:27:751 - make it 1 note New measure double? Not sure about removing one.
00:27:529 - and 00:27:751 - you can change one of em as ln for that synth sound Might make it a little cramped.
00:28:529 (28529|3) - move it one line lower since the snare is there Sure. Changed the pattern slightly here as well.
00:29:529 - make it 3 for cymbal Ehhh I'd rather not. Haven't done it on any of the other diffs.
00:30:306 - here too ^
00:31:306 - here too ^
00:31:640 - like this maybe? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8011903 Changed, but not exactly like that.
00:33:640 (33640|1) - delete Follows vocals though... (don't kill me pls)
00:33:751 - here sound of tom tom ( or kick drum or something like that) Not mapped for simplicity, basically. I tried and it made it a little awkward for me. Will reconsider if brought up again though.
00:33:973 - here too ^
00:35:195 - 1 note here Sure
00:37:306 - here a note and 00:37:529 - As previously
00:38:751 - here a note Sure.
00:50:417 - double note here As with HD.

First of all, this song is the best :)

Only doing SC difficulty today, might mod the others later, not very good at modding <3* maps
SC difficulty
00:11:306 - Feels like these 1/8ths are really random, not sure what sound you mapped these to

00:13:529 - 00:13:862 - 00:14:195 - 00:14:529 - I feel like all these should be doubles, fits the drum sound better, same goes for the hands in the part after

00:15:306 - Replacing the current pattern after this part with a jumpstream-ish kind of pattern fits the sound of the drums alot better, improves the flow of the gameplay

00:19:640 - Add note to make it a double

00:19:862 - 00:20:195 - ^Same as above

00:17:084 - Some of the notes (alot of them) are supposed to be mapped in 1/3rd 1/6th, for example here 00:18:047 - is supposed to be here 00:18:121 - instead, rework this part ;)

I will stop my mod here as I feel like the map needs a lot of nitpicky work :?

SC difficulty
00:11:306 - Feels like these 1/8ths are really random, not sure what sound you mapped these to Same as at 00:07:362 (7362|1,7417|0,7473|3,7529|2).

00:13:529 - 00:13:862 - 00:14:195 - 00:14:529 - I feel like all these should be doubles, fits the drum sound better, same goes for the hands in the part after I know what you mean, but I couldn't really find a way of representing a double-triple without it looking awkward. At least this way it captures the semi-repetitive chords.

00:15:306 - Replacing the current pattern after this part with a jumpstream-ish kind of pattern fits the sound of the drums alot better, improves the flow of the gameplay Again, I understand. I deliberately didn't map some of the drums because I could then create a mirrored pattern. (Plus this scenario is like the only time the drums do this)

00:19:640 - Add note to make it a double Sure.

00:19:862 - 00:20:195 - ^Same as above Yeah, why not.

Love the song, GL with the map :)
Okay. So, yeah, I know that most of one of the sections is in 1/6s. But... with the rest of the song in 1/4, I felt that 100% accurately mapping this section would have broken playability, since it wasn't completely intuitive to do this. (Y'know, fhána drums n stuff being oddly syncopated sometimes) Thus, I rounded everything to 1/4s. Of course to see for yourself, I made a copy for the MX diff in 1/6 style for this section, and it just felt a little jerky. Perhaps it's just me, but I'm still going to pool more opinions on this. Some have said yes, some no, so I'm still thinking about it. For the time being, no change. It's a toughie...

Thanks for the mod! :)

The suggestions in the consistency section will ruin the patterns made in the patterning section. However, I've placed the patterning section before the consistency section to show you some uncomfortable patterns, which should make it easier for you to identify them yourself

If any of the suggestions create new uncomfortable patterns, make sure you fix them as well

Patterning
Move 00:05:084 (5084|2,5529|2) - to {3} and 00:05:306 (5306|3) - to {2}. 00:04:417 (4417|2,4640|2,5084|2) - is heavy on {2}

Move 00:09:306 (9306|2) - to {3} and 00:09:529 (9529|3) - to {2}, 00:08:640 (8640|2,8973|2,9306|2) - is heavy on {2}

00:26:417 (26417|0,26529|1,26751|0,26973|1,27084|0,27306|1) - is LH heavy

00:27:529 (27529|2,27529|3,27973|3,27973|2,28417|2,28417|3,28862|3,28862|2) - makes the RH part pretty bland

00:29:751 (29751|0,29862|1,29973|2,30084|3) - feels like weird patterning to me, cause a {0,1,2,3} pattern makes it seem like there's going to be an ascending part in the melody. This feels slightly more weird, cause the notes are mapping three different sounds. Not really that important but I'd change 00:29:751 (29751|0,29862|1,29973|2,30084|3) - to {0,2,1,3}

00:30:306 (30306|2,30640|2,30973|2,31306|2) - is heavy on {2}. Since I still kinda want 00:30:862 (30862|1,30973|2,31084|3,31195|0,31306|2,31306|1) - to have an ascending pattern, I'd just move all the notes by two spaces; like 00:30:862 (30862|1) - to {3}. 00:30:973 (30973|2) - to {0}, etc

00:39:306 (39306|3) - should go in the LH, as you don't want 00:38:751 (38751|2,38862|3,39084|2,39306|3) -

00:40:417 (40417|3,40640|2,40751|3,40973|2,41306|3) - is very heavy on the RH

01:25:973 (85973|3,86084|2,86195|0,86195|1,86306|3,86417|2,86529|1,86640|3,86640|0,86751|2,86862|1,86973|0,87084|2,87084|3,87195|1,87306|0,87417|3,87529|1,87529|2) - uses a very basic {3,2,1,0,3...} pattern. You probably want to change that a bit

Consistency
00:04:195 (4195|3) - can't hear any sounds that support an LN, remove it

00:10:973 (10973|3) - can't hear anything, remove note. It sounds like a single LN starting at 00:10:862 - and ending at 00:10:973 - for the violin

00:11:417 (11417|0) - I don't hear any sustained note here. If you're mapping the violin, it starts at 00:11:306 -

00:20:084 (20084|3) - ghost note

00:22:751 - is missing a double for the snare, same sound as 00:22:640 (22640|1,22640|2) -

There are missing notes at 00:23:417 -, 00:23:640 -, 00:23:862 - and 00:24:084 -, which have a mix of kicks and drums

00:27:862 - is technically missing a note for the violin. It's weird to leave out, considering that you have mapping the violin in other places with a single SN

I can't hear any sounds supporting 00:30:973 (30973|2) - and 00:31:195 (31195|0) -

00:32:529 (32529|2) -, 00:32:751 (32751|2) - and 00:32:973 (32973|2) - are missing notes for kicks/drums

The LNs between 00:33:084 - and 00:40:973 - don't seem to be mapped to anything in particular. I'd remove them all. In addition, you're ignoring a lot of the sounds in this section. You should be adding notes in like at 00:33:417 -, 00:33:751 - and 00:33:973 - for kicks, etc. Whilst it might make it similar to SC, the current version doesn't feel very nice to play, considering that you're ignoring a lot of the sounds in a seemingly inconsistent manner

00:42:084 - is missing notes for a snare
00:42:973 - ^

00:43:640 (43640|1) - ghost note

00:46:973 - and 00:47:195 - are missing notes for the drum. Same with 00:48:751 - and 00:48:973 -

00:49:529 (49529|0) - ghost note

Like with the section before, I don't see a reason for the LNs between 00:50:862 - and 01:14:862 -. They don't seem to be mapped to any specific instrument and they don't change at the same time as the chords of the song. I also can't tell why 00:53:529 (53529|1,53973|0) - has two LNs

01:04:973 (64973|2,64973|3) - ghost notes

01:16:751 (76751|2,76862|3,76862|1,77084|3,77084|0,77306|1,77306|2,77529|0,77529|3) -, 01:18:529 (78529|2,78640|3,78640|1,78862|0,78862|2,79084|3,79084|2,79306|0,79306|1) - and 01:20:306 (80306|0,80417|2,80529|3,80529|0,80640|2,80640|1,80751|0,80751|3,80862|2,80862|1,80973|0,80973|3,81084|2,81084|1) - all have the same sounds. Therefore, each instance should have the same amount of notes as each other

There are two sounds at 01:21:751 - and 01:21:862 - that can be mapped. The same applies to 01:22:195 - and 01:22:306 -, 01:22:640 - and 01:22:751 -, etc

Between 01:24:640 - and 01:27:084 - are a lot of ghost notes. I can't hear any supporting sounds for 01:24:751 (84751|0) -, 01:24:973 (84973|3) -, 01:25:195 (85195|1) -, 01:25:862 (85862|1) -, etc

There is a snare at 01:27:640 -

Personally, I'd map the snares at 01:27:973 - and 01:28:084 - instead of using a double LN like 01:27:862 (87862|0,87862|1) -. The snares are much more prominent than the violins, if you ask me

Another opinion of mine is that quads, like 01:28:640 (88640|2,88640|1,88640|0,88640|3) -, look bad. Plus I can't see any justification for them being quads because the sound is about as strong as those which you have used triples for

Consistency
00:04:195 (4195|3) - can't hear any sounds that support an LN, remove it Would it sound weird if I told you this was following the vocals?

00:10:973 (10973|3) - can't hear anything, remove note. It sounds like a single LN starting at 00:10:862 - and ending at 00:10:973 - for the violin Another vocal thing, though not at strong. Removed anyway since not consistent with other diffs.

00:11:417 (11417|0) - I don't hear any sustained note here. If you're mapping the violin, it starts at 00:11:306 - Vocals again, but still not consistent anyway. Changed.

00:20:084 (20084|3) - ghost note Vocal-ish (and violin I guess), as well as better pattern readability.

00:22:751 - is missing a double for the snare, same sound as 00:22:640 (22640|1,22640|2) - Doesn't feel as strong for me. I've put a single in.

There are missing notes at 00:23:417 -, 00:23:640 -, 00:23:862 - and 00:24:084 -, which have a mix of kicks and drums I know... I've kind of ignored these because of their awkward 1/6 placements (plus I have no idea how I would scale this up on SC while still having smooth play.

00:27:862 - is technically missing a note for the violin. It's weird to leave out, considering that you have mapping the violin in other places with a single SN The violin is sort of falling off of the previous note, I would think a 1/4 LN would be better. Except I don't want to do that.

I can't hear any sounds supporting 00:30:973 (30973|2) - and 00:31:195 (31195|0) - Fair enough.

00:32:529 (32529|2) -, 00:32:751 (32751|2) - and 00:32:973 (32973|2) - are missing notes for kicks/drums Doesn't properly scale with SC imo, so I decided to leave them out.

Whilst it might make it similar to SC, the current version doesn't feel very nice to play, considering that you're ignoring a lot of the sounds in a seemingly inconsistent manner Clearly something that still needs work. I'll figure something out soon, probably...

00:42:084 - is missing notes for a snare
00:42:973 - ^ Whoops

00:43:640 (43640|1) - ghost note So it is.

00:46:973 - and 00:47:195 - are missing notes for the drum. Same with 00:48:751 - and 00:48:973 - Eh... >.<

00:49:529 (49529|0) - ghost note Very slight change in bg vocals (new syllable? idk how I'd phrase that one lol)

Like with the section before, I don't see a reason for the LNs between 00:50:862 - and 01:14:862 -. They don't seem to be mapped to any specific instrument and they don't change at the same time as the chords of the song. I also can't tell why 00:53:529 (53529|1,53973|0) - has two LNs I'll figure something out... probably. (2 LNs are following violins)

01:04:973 (64973|2,64973|3) - ghost notes So they are. Huh.

01:16:751 (76751|2,76862|3,76862|1,77084|3,77084|0,77306|1,77306|2,77529|0,77529|3) -, 01:18:529 (78529|2,78640|3,78640|1,78862|0,78862|2,79084|3,79084|2,79306|0,79306|1) - and 01:20:306 (80306|0,80417|2,80529|3,80529|0,80640|2,80640|1,80751|0,80751|3,80862|2,80862|1,80973|0,80973|3,81084|2,81084|1) - all have the same sounds. Therefore, each instance should have the same amount of notes as each other Arguably, the third time has the additional violins, which I can't accurately map without looking messy. (maybe I'm noob mapper :/)

There are two sounds at 01:21:751 - and 01:21:862 - that can be mapped. The same applies to 01:22:195 - and 01:22:306 -, 01:22:640 - and 01:22:751 -, etc A bit faint imo to be mapped. (the current mapping was a sheep suggestion lol)

Between 01:24:640 - and 01:27:084 - are a lot of ghost notes. I can't hear any supporting sounds for 01:24:751 (84751|0) -, 01:24:973 (84973|3) -, 01:25:195 (85195|1) -, 01:25:862 (85862|1) -, etc Yeah spotted that and decided not to change it while you were modding it lol, thanks for the reminder~

There is a snare at 01:27:640 - D:

Personally, I'd map the snares at 01:27:973 - and 01:28:084 - instead of using a double LN like 01:27:862 (87862|0,87862|1) -. The snares are much more prominent than the violins, if you ask me Vocals? I'll think about this one, considering I mapped both in SC.

Another opinion of mine is that quads, like 01:28:640 (88640|2,88640|1,88640|0,88640|3) -, look bad. Plus I can't see any justification for them being quads because the sound is about as strong as those which you have used triples for A quad for the sake of a quad because it's at the end. Only kidding. Same emphasis as like 00:13:640 (13640|1,13640|3,13640|0) for example, plus 1 note for the vocals.

At the very least, the patterning is mostly fine

I suggest to add a note at 00:15:862 - 00:16:195 - 00:16:529 - but u might need to change the pattern a bit , for example >> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077461
00:23:417 - >> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077490 because the drum here is every 1/4 beat

00:35:195 - ^ suggestion >> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077547

00:34:084 - add note here at column 2

00:37:195 (37195|3) - ghost note ?
00:36:862 (36862|3) - move the note to 00:36:973 -

00:39:529 - the sound here is actually should be more trill-y than now , suggestion >> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077591

00:54:751 - add a note here , example>> http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077609
00:57:417 - add a note here as well

01:16:973 - add a note here , same as 01:18:751 -

01:22:195 - add a note here.

01:25:417 - double here instead of 01:25:529 -

01:27:195 - double here.

Elma
00:47:306 (47306|1,47306|2) - I'm not sure but i feel like double should be at 00:47:417 - instead

00:23:417 - >> https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8077490 because the drum here is every 1/4 beat Technically they're on the 1/6... I wanted to highlight those on the beat more (since this follows the idea through from HD and MX). I did add the first one though.

00:37:195 (37195|3) - ghost note ? Vocal + pattern I guess.
00:36:862 (36862|3) - move the note to 00:36:973 - 10/10 for consistency, well done me. >.< Added a note

01:27:195 - double here. Sure.

00:47:306 (47306|1,47306|2) - I'm not sure but i feel like double should be at 00:47:417 - instead You're probably right. Trouble is, it's an easy diff, so I don't really want to put too many things off the beat. Plus it them copies the pattern(?) of 00:45:529 (45529|2,46306|0,46306|3).
00:49:751 - remove one note. I hear a cymbal crash though.

I find the map already well advanced, the mapping fits the song pretty well and the HS is overall well done. As usual only apply the mod if you are 120% agree with it, also best of luck to get it ranked >w<)b

00:32:640 (32640|2) - Maybe a clap here, it somehow makes me think of 00:39:751 (39751|1) and 00:50:417 (50417|2)

00:36:417 - What about addind a note here ?

00:57:973 (57973|2) - I think i would move it to (0) or (1) (and then also moving a bit what is after). The reason is you end the kiai and the song start a new vocal phrase but the stair with 00:57:529 (57529|3,57973|2,58417|1,58862|0) doesnt not mark this transition.

01:25:306 (85306|0,85751|3) - What about CTRL+H those 2 ? The idea is from 01:21:084 you had a certain repetitive pattern (01:21:084 (81084|3,81529|1,81973|2,82417|0)) and since at 01:24:640 you are mapping a different instrument i think you could indicate it by not following this pattern anymore

Really clean diff and nice hitsounding, nothing much to say its ready to be ranked in my opinion :3

Quetzalcoatl NM

00:03:306 (3306|2) - I would move this one to (0) and
00:03:751 (3751|0) - This one to (2), The reason is the introducing pattern you are using are really one direction oriented (first right to left for example) which is nice, but i think at the end of the pattern you should introduce the next one by going to the opposite direction

00:06:862 (6862|3) - To (1) for the same reasons

00:07:751 (7751|2,7973|1) - Im not sure but maybe consider adding whistle here

00:16:640 (16640|3,16862|0) - I think those 2 finish are a bit too much, maybe replace them with whistles

00:36:417 (36417|1) - Pretty sure you should add a whistle here
00:39:973 (39973|2) - Here too

00:45:084 (45084|2) - Maybe to (0) and
00:45:306 (45306|0) - To (2), afterward you have many note pair going from right to left so maybe make this one left to right so it wont be too repetitive

01:24:417 - I would add a note at (2) here. At the beginning you mapped the "Chuchu~" vocal 00:00:640 (640|2,862|1,1084|0) so i think you should do the same in the end

Nice diff too, fun to play with good mapping ideas, good job owo)b

Fafnir HD

00:03:084 (3084|1,3306|2) - I think i would CTRL+H those 2, the thing is you had many left-right pattern before 00:00:640 (640|1,862|2) + 00:02:640 (2640|1,2751|2) + 00:01:306 (1306|1,1529|2,1751|3) so i think its nice to invert the direction here

00:07:751 (7751|2,7973|1) - What about addind whistle for those 2 ?

00:09:973 - Why not double chords here ? Like before

00:16:640 (16640|0,16862|2) - Same remark as the previous diff, maybe those 2 finish are a bit too much

00:22:306 - Maybe add a note here to keep consistency

00:30:529 - I think you should add a note at (3) here, to be consistent with 00:29:751 (29751|1,29862|2) and 00:31:529 (31529|3,31640|2)

00:31:640 (31640|2) - Maybe a whistle here just like 00:29:751 (29751|1,29862|2)

00:51:751 (51751|1) - Missing whistle here

00:54:862 (54862|1) - Missing clap here i think

00:57:862 - What about addind a note here ? To mark the end of the kiai

00:58:417 (58417|2) - Clap here too

01:05:529 (65529|3,65973|1) - Why not HS here ?
01:07:306 (67306|1,67751|2) - And here too, maybe i missed something, but i dont see why you are not following the usual HS here

01:09:084 (69084|2) - Same clap here i think

At 01:19:751 i think you should go for this mapping. I found the one at 01:16:195 really fun, so re-using it at 01:17:973 was a good surprised, but then at 01:19:751 i was so sad :(

Great diff again, maybe some missing HS and some pattern are not 100% consistent but except that its really good. Nice drum mapping variation all over the song :3

Tohru MX

00:07:751 (7751|3,7973|0) - As the other diff, maybe whistle here

At 00:08:862 maybe you should go for this :

Consider this :
00:04:417 (4417|2,4529|1,4640|0) +
00:06:195 (6195|2,6306|1,6417|0) +
00:07:306 (7306|2,7417|1,7529|0) +
00:08:862 (8862|3,8973|2,9084|1) +
This is way too much speedy part going on the same direction i think, thats why change the one at 00:08:862 to keep balance

00:16:417 (16417|3,16640|0) - As the other diff, i think those finish are too much

00:17:306 (17306|2) - Maybe just move this one to (1) otherwise 00:16:862 (16862|3,16862|2,17084|0,17084|1,17306|3,17306|2) looks like a chords trill while its not really the case

00:22:306 (22306|1) - Clap here i think like 00:18:640 (18640|0,18751|1,18862|2)

At 00:33:973 + 00:37:529 + 00:41:084 - Maybe you should add a note here if you want to map the drum exactly

00:36:417 (36417|3) - Maybe whistle here

00:44:195 - Whilste here too ?

00:44:973 (44973|3,45195|1) - Maybe you should remove those 2 and use double chords
00:44:862 - here
00:45:084 - and here
The thing is you seem to map more the vocal here and the drum is not really playing notes at 00:44:973

01:03:084 (63084|3,63195|2) - Maybe whistle here (or clap)

01:08:529 - What about adding a note here ?

01:19:751 (79751|1,79862|3,79973|0,80084|2,80084|3) - I think you should have a stair like pattern like you did at 01:16:195 or 01:17:973

01:24:306 (84306|3,84529|1) - I really dont think you should have this note here, the drum restart a bit later

Nice balance between drum and vocal mapping, you kept the structure of the previous diff while making it harder, maybe some parts can be even better but good map anyway ;3

00:03:751 (3751|1,3751|0,3862|3,3973|2) - Those 2 map the same choir part but why making them so different ? (i mean one end with a double chords, another add a note when the LN begin...) I would recommend using the same kind of mapping as 00:03:751 (3751|1,3751|0,3862|3,3973|2) for the first one
00:06:640 (6640|0,6751|1,6862|3,6862|2) - Same remark

00:07:751 (7751|2,7973|1) - Same as the other diff, maybe you should add whistle here

00:10:973 - Maybe add a note here if you want to be consistent in the choir mapping

00:16:640 (16640|0,16862|2) - As the other diff, i think those 2 finish are too much

00:27:751 (27751|0,27751|3) - Those 2 feels a bit weird, usually at that moment you are using a single note, but what you did is fine too so i dont really know, just wanted to point it out

00:30:529 (30529|0) - Maybe a whilte but not sure

00:33:417 (33417|1,33640|1,33862|1,34084|1) - Careful, anchor here

00:33:973 (33973|2) - Whistle here
00:35:751 (35751|2) - here too no ?

00:35:862 - Maybe you should add a note here

00:41:084 (41084|3) - Here too i think you should add a whistle

01:11:084 (71084|3) - I would move it to (2)

01:11:640 - Not missing here or is it me ?

01:14:417 (74417|3,74640|3,74862|3,75084|3) - Careful anchor

01:28:195 - Im pretty sure you should add a note at (1) here

The kiais might feel a bit light compared to the rest of the map but in fact i dont know what you could have done more so its nice like this.
Also nice difficulty balance, this is a good 4*, challenging but whitout overmapping. Best of luck to get it ranked >w<)b

Please make this ranked, im counting on you :3

00:16:640 (16640|3,16862|0) - I think those 2 finish are a bit too much, maybe replace them with whistles They are in the audio file, albeit a little unclear and quieter than usual.

00:30:529 - I think you should add a note at (3) here, to be consistent with 00:29:751 (29751|1,29862|2) and 00:31:529 (31529|3,31640|2) Hadn't thought about that.

00:31:640 (31640|2) - Maybe a whistle here just like 00:29:751 (29751|1,29862|2) Huh. Just noticed that these didn't appear in any other diffs, so I took the first one out lol

00:51:751 (51751|1) - Missing whistle here Nice catch.

00:54:862 (54862|1) - Missing clap here i think So there is.

00:57:862 - What about addind a note here ? To mark the end of the kiai Sure.

00:58:417 (58417|2) - Clap here too Whoops >.<

01:05:529 (65529|3,65973|1) - Why not HS here ? Uh...
01:07:306 (67306|1,67751|2) - And here too, maybe i missed something, but i dont see why you are not following the usual HS here Sure didn't check HS on this diff well enough lol

01:09:084 (69084|2) - Same clap here i think Yup.

At 01:19:751 i think you should go for this mapping. I found the one at 01:16:195 really fun, so re-using it at 01:17:973 was a good surprised, but then at 01:19:751 i was so sad :( Good spot.

Great diff again, maybe some missing HS and some pattern are not 100% consistent but except that its really good. Nice drum mapping variation all over the song :3

Tohru MX

00:07:751 (7751|3,7973|0) - As the other diff, maybe whistle here Still thinking about this one.

At 00:08:862 maybe you should go for this :

Consider this :
00:04:417 (4417|2,4529|1,4640|0) +
00:06:195 (6195|2,6306|1,6417|0) +
00:07:306 (7306|2,7417|1,7529|0) +
00:08:862 (8862|3,8973|2,9084|1) +
This is way too much speedy part going on the same direction i think, thats why change the one at 00:08:862 to keep balance That's a thought, but I think the suggested change puts too many notes in col 2 for this small section. I'll see if I can work it in somehow.

00:16:417 (16417|3,16640|0) - As the other diff, i think those finish are too much Same response :3

00:17:306 (17306|2) - Maybe just move this one to (1) otherwise 00:16:862 (16862|3,16862|2,17084|0,17084|1,17306|3,17306|2) looks like a chords trill while its not really the case Hmm... I see what you're trying to get at here, but at the same time I'm worried about column strain. I'll leave as is and see if there are any other alternatives.

00:22:306 (22306|1) - Clap here i think like 00:18:640 (18640|0,18751|1,18862|2) Nice catch.

At 00:33:973 + 00:37:529 + 00:41:084 - Maybe you should add a note here if you want to map the drum exactly Sure. Large restructuring for the final highlight.

00:36:417 (36417|3) - Maybe whistle here Yup.

00:44:195 - Whilste here too ? Should have been lol

00:44:973 (44973|3,45195|1) - Maybe you should remove those 2 and use double chords Removed first hl (inconsistent across diffs)
00:44:862 - here not consistent
00:45:084 - and here Mhm
The thing is you seem to map more the vocal here and the drum is not really playing notes at 00:44:973 It's the remnants of what my mapping was like 2 months ago hehe

01:03:084 (63084|3,63195|2) - Maybe whistle here (or clap) Claps pls :3

01:08:529 - What about adding a note here ? Sure.

01:19:751 (79751|1,79862|3,79973|0,80084|2,80084|3) - I think you should have a stair like pattern like you did at 01:16:195 or 01:17:973 Nice idea.

01:24:306 (84306|3,84529|1) - I really dont think you should have this note here, the drum restart a bit later There's a slightly quieter snare at these points.

(i mean one end with a double chords, another add a note when the LN begin...) I would recommend using the same kind of mapping as 00:03:751 (3751|1,3751|0,3862|3,3973|2) for the first one Conflicting ideas, I guess. Claps were hightlighted with doubles. The first one fell on a clap, thus the double, and the second one didn't,
thus the single.

00:06:640 (6640|0,6751|1,6862|3,6862|2) - Same remark Claps all around :3

00:07:751 (7751|2,7973|1) - Same as the other diff, maybe you should add whistle here Eh...

00:10:973 - Maybe add a note here if you want to be consistent in the choir mapping Fair enough.

00:16:640 (16640|0,16862|2) - As the other diff, i think those 2 finish are too much They're there, I swear. >.<

00:27:751 (27751|0,27751|3) - Those 2 feels a bit weird, usually at that moment you are using a single note, but what you did is fine too so i dont really know, just wanted to point it out Fair enough. Was just highlighting that violin fall somewhat. (It's a double in MX too)

00:30:529 (30529|0) - Maybe a whilte but not sure Nice idea.

00:33:417 (33417|1,33640|1,33862|1,34084|1) - Careful, anchor here Damn these LNs lol. It's why I'm not a fan of using them in 4K XD

00:33:973 (33973|2) - Whistle here
00:35:751 (35751|2) - here too no ? >.<

00:35:862 - Maybe you should add a note here Sure.

00:41:084 (41084|3) - Here too i think you should add a whistle Indeed.

01:11:084 (71084|3) - I would move it to (2)

01:11:640 - Not missing here or is it me ? Minor restructure in this area

01:14:417 (74417|3,74640|3,74862|3,75084|3) - Careful anchor Not really a way around this one...

01:28:195 - Im pretty sure you should add a note at (1) here Only thing I hear is the vocalist taking a breath :3
