I'm guessing you are trying to update from the Stable Fallback version of the game.

Are you Graphics drivers up to date and properly installed? Are you running 32 bit colors (16 will crash the game)

That GPU seems old and low spec. It appears it only supports OpenGL 1.5. (I believe osu! requires 2.0 for the latest builds, but don't 100% quote me on that)

But yeah, Most likely caused by your old inadequate hardware.

Latest version requires openGL 2.0, when your chipst only supports up to 1.5.

If your motherboard has a free PCI-E Slot, then getting a GPU, even a very cheap one will do (Nvidia GPUs support open GL 2.0 on cards as old as 7000 Series which came out 11 years ago and can probably be found used for very cheap if you realy want to play on stable and have no budget to upgrade to something better.)
