Welcome to Suiji Spring Cup 2017!

Meaning 'Stochastic', players will sign up individually then be assigned their teams through a randomization process.

This is a 4v4 double-elimination tournament.
This is an osu!standard tournament.
The tournament is open globally, anybody can participate regardless of country or rank.
Players will sign up individually and will be assigned a team, they will be assigned on stream.
Teams are Randomized, there will be 4 players per team.
Each team will contain 1A seeded player, 1B seeded player, 1C seeded player, 1D seeded player.
Teams will be given 5 days to submit a team name. Failure on submitting a Team name will result in an assigned team name chosen by the staff.
Players will be seeded by rank
We reserve the right to decline/remove disruptive players from the tournament with no notice
The maximum amount of players is 128.
As there are limited slots, we will only take the top 128 players in terms of rank.
All match timings are in UTC, unless otherwise specified.
Staff are allowed to play, except for mappool selectors/testers.
There will be a losers bracket, applying effectively as of Round of 16
GS will be Best of 7, 4 points will win the match.
RO16 will be Best of 9, 5 points will win the match.
QF & SF will be a Best of 11, 6 points will win the match.
Finals will be a Best of 13, 7 points will win the match, with a 1 point advantage for the Winner's Bracket. There will be no bracket reset.

TOURNAMENT RULES

If a player fails to show up for a match after 15 minutes, the player will be penalized appropriately.
If a player disconnects from the game, a regame will be offered. Ragequitters/quits will forfeit that map. This is only pertaining to genuine internet disconnects/cuts/failures.
If a player does not cooperate or treat their teammates appropriately, he/she will be penalized accordingly, as the staff do not tolerate any sort of misbehaviour.
If a player is deemed to have inappropriate behaviour, he/she may be penalized at the discretion of the referee and/or staff. This can include, but is not limited to, intentional throwing, fake disconnects, disrespect towards staff and/or opponents.
Only 1 warm-up map is to be played per team (Two warm-ups in total) from, with a maximum drain time of 5 minutes strictly. Warm-ups are allowed from the beginning of the tournament.
There must be a 24 hour notice for match rescheduling.
You may stream, but at your own risk.
No cheating.

MATCH RULES

The referee will create the match, and the players will be invited into the match.
The referee is only allowed to play during warm-ups.
The referee will hold the host all the time. Players will state the map in the #multiplayer chat and the referee will select it. Host is only given to players for warm up picks only.
Players are invited at least 15 minutes before their match start.
Players will be asked to do a !roll command to determine who has the first pick, the higher roll gets to choose to pick first or ban first.
Each team will get 2 bans, a total of 4 in the match. Bans will be 1-1-1-1 (team 1 bans then team 2 then back to team 1 then team 2)
Game mode is Team VS, and played on Score v2.
Matches will be locked and invite only.
If a player fails, his score will not be counted. However, if he revives, the score will be counted. If a player fails at the end of a map, his score will not be counted."
The tiebreaker is a freemod.
In a freemod pick, multiple mods (HDHR) are allowed. DT is not allowed.
In a freemod pick, 2 players must use at least 1 mod on each team.
In a freemod pick, you are only allowed to pick Hidden, Hard Rock, and/or Easy.
You cannot pick the same mod twice in a row, this applies to HD/HR/DT maps only.

SUBSTITUTION RULES

Teams who have an absent player at match time will be provided a substitute player.
The substitute player will be one seed lower than the absent player, to not give the team an unfair advantage.
Teams may have only 1 substituted player at a time.
Teams will be limited to only 2 occurrences of substitutions.
The substituted player must play the entire match, regardless of if the original player shows up.
To avoid abuse, the list of substitutes will not be public, and the substitutes will be assigned randomly.
Teams who have prior knowledge of a teammate being unavailable for their match and cannot rechedule, may be assigned a substitute early to allow them to practice together.
Consistent no-shows will be handed on a case-by-case basis.
