tbh i can barely find anything in the diff. it's really good ;'(

00:03:595 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - Cant hear hitsounds ;'{ you should bump up the volume

01:03:595 (1,2,3,4,5) - All these straight sliders made it feel too repetitive when I was playing, even though its only 5 notes. Maybe the one all the way on the top ( 01:04:731 (4) ) can be changed into a curve?

01:21:322 (6) - I'd take off the repeat, as it doesn't fit the vocals which is the only sound playing in this section.

00:49:049 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - I think this section should be doing something alike to this section: 00:45:413 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) because the vocals + background instruments sound the same in both. Not exactly the same, but same pattern of hitcircle/slider.

00:57:231 (3,4,1,2,3) - I feel there are too many sliders here for a normal part of the song. Like, the rest of the song has hit-circles in between every 1 to 3 sliders. Or you can keep it because spinner recovery, up to you.

that's it for this diff. I feel like it's already really good and you'll probably need someone with much more experience than me to catch anything in this diff, if there is anything to catch. ;o

00:29:504 (4) - You might want to have this stacked under the other note, to do the same thing you did in Darling.

01:21:322 (7) - Same as Darling, you might wanna remove repeat.

00:37:231 (7,8) - For sections like this, where the drum is being hit 4 time in the background, you should have 2 1/2 sliders instead of a slider and a hitcircle. Adds more emphasis on the drums, which is what you want.

00:30:867 (1) - You should blanket this closer to the next slider.

I played this diff with ar 10 and noticed the map literally has you going in circles, which I think is a great strategy and makes it easier to follow the notes.
again, really good diff. I probably skipped over some things :o :o :o oh yeah, also, this diff (in star rating) is a hard. might want to tone it down some way to be normal rather than hard. Normal is 2.25 and below to 1.50 stars, this is 2.30 stars.

00:41:777 (1) - You might wanna curve this up rather than down, so that 1. it doesn't look like the same slider twice and 2. it creates a better-looking pattern ;o. When I say curve up i mean the middle point, move it up instead of down.

00:59:959 (1) - Same ^^

01:01:777 (3) - Same ^^

01:11:322 (2) - Might wanna change this slider into a simple curve, because the repeat arrow direction can confuse an easy player.

I think all 3 diffs. are already really good. The way the repeating patterns are make it easy to play but the overlapping notes make it a bit tricky in normal and Darling, which is perfect for people playing this range of diff.
im 100% sure that i'm skipping over some stuff, but other modders should be able to catch anything I didn't/couldn't ;o

True, it does flow well this way, but I have to be careful it doesn't become dull. For example, from 00:34:958 - here to 00:44:049 - here, almost 10 seconds, the player only has to move clockwise. It's boring to play. I switched it up a bit. The same thing also happened 01:06:322 - from here to 01:17:231 - here, but I changed it.

Theres a lot more you can do with this, because you used 1/2 divisor just listening to it, it sounds like you could add triplets in places, etc. Because you used 1/2 also, it's A LOT cleaner, and just generally easier to mod. So there isn't a whole lot i could say

00:37:685 (5,6,1) - I would make this a stream, It'll fit the music, add some more challenge to your map

00:44:958 (5,6,1) - Something like this

01:02:685 (3,4,5,6,1) - Just add a note after 6 leading into the next slider

1) Your mod demonstrates that you have knowledge of modding, and that you looked through my whole map.

Kiai doesn't really make sense to me, 00:42:004 (2,3,4,5,6) - is just as intense as what comes before it. I think you should extend the kiai to 00:45:413 (1) - , or even all the way to 00:52:685 (1) - . And then extend the second kiai to 01:10:867 (1) - or 01:19:959 (1) - for similar reasons.

You use a lot of additive triplets/quints throughout the map. This is okay I suppose (maybe pushing it w/ quints), but you also skip a lot of the song's actual triplets, like at 00:26:095 (4) - . I think you should try to focus more on the song's true rhythms instead of adding so many of your own.

Also, long additive sections like 01:09:049 (1,2,3) - aren't really acceptable for ranking, since it's too far from the actual song. And adding extra notes to 1/4 drum stuff like 01:10:413 (5,6,7,8,1) - takes away from the song's rhythming :<

Same thing about kiai as Insane diff, cutting it off at 00:41:776 (1) - and 01:07:231 (1) - is weird to me, the song doesn't change intensity here. If you just want another fountain you can turn it off around 00:45:185 (6) - and then back on again, that's perfectly rankable. Applies to all diffs.

01:19:958 (1,2,3,4,5) - this pattern seems too hard for such a quiet part of the song, it's much more singletappy than the rest of the map. Maybe just do some 1/2 stacks pattern if you really want the clicking rhythm.

Same thing about kiai as Insane diff, cutting it off at 00:41:776 (1) - and 01:07:231 (1) - is weird to me, the song doesn't change intensity here. If you just want another fountain you can turn it off around 00:45:185 (6) - and then back on again, that's perfectly rankable. Applies to all diffs. I changed it to what ApplePie did actually.

01:19:958 (1,2,3,4,5) - this pattern seems too hard for such a quiet part of the song, it's much more singletappy than the rest of the map. Maybe just do some 1/2 stacks pattern if you really want the clicking rhythm. Fixed~

Your whistle usage seems kinda random in this diff, like it's not very consistent as to how you use them. The lack of consistency isn't inherently a problem, just that it feels really weird to me. I suggest going through this diff and making sure all the whistles are placed as you want them.

00:05:413 (1,2) - Have to disagree with this jump. I think it's more appropriate to have a jump to 00:05:413 (1), as it's a strong vocal / downbeat.

00:39:731 (5) - dont agree with this jump, I'd position it so that the jump is from 5 to 1 instead of 4 to 5.

00:56:322 (1) - if you pause at 00:55:981, you can actually blanket this slider around the spinner (lol)

Your whistle usage seems kinda random in this diff, like it's not very consistent as to how you use them. The lack of consistency isn't inherently a problem, just that it feels really weird to me. I suggest going through this diff and making sure all the whistles are placed as you want them. I messed with all of the hitsounds and volumes in Hard, then copy/pasted, so it should be fine now

Otherwise, this diff is very solid. Good work! yay!

  • I’m not too happy with some of the overmapped triples and short streams. They seem to compliment the music reasonably well, but I’d recommend toning down.

    00:05:413 (1,2,3,4) - I don’t like how these jumps are symmetric and almost have same distance from each other (I don’t think DS difference of 1.0 is noticeable). That implies that the each beats in the music is equally strong in the music. However, I think that’s not the case. 00:05:413 (1) - is strong vocal downbeat, 00:05:640 (2) - is weak without vocal, 00:05:867 (3) - is weak vocal, and 00:06:095 - is stronger vocal. At least that’s how I’d interpret.

    00:04:504 (3,4,1) - 00:05:867 (3,4,5) - I don’t think these wide angles flow very well ><;

    00:31:549 - This is strong vocal, consider making it clickable (Especially because you’re following vocal throughout most of the map. )

    00:38:140 (3) - NC?

    00:43:367 (6,1) - Wide angle does a poor job emphasizing a strong sound.

    00:44:049 (2,5) - Doesn’t seem to be stacked properly

    00:52:913 - 00:53:595 - I am grumpy these drum beats are buried in the slider. I could understand 00:45:640 - 00:46:322 - 00:47:004 - 00:47:685 - because vocal is the dominant sound, but consider a change for 00:52:913 - 00:53:595 -. I know you’re following guitar here, but I think a good map should capture all the prominent sound in the song when possible.

    00:54:845 - 00:55:072 - 00:55:299 - Since you’ve overmapped some of the streams, I think it doesn’t make sense not to map these 1/4 drum beats.

    00:56:776 (3,4,5,6,7) - I don’t think 00:57:913 (7,8,1) - is emphasized properly here (wide angle, smaller DS)

  1. First to all I don't think the video is something acceptable, you should ask to moderators or QATs if you can keep it. nvm I saw a similar image in a qualify map, so this one must be fine!
  2. I'm using default volume settings and I can't hear the hitnormal at several places, for example 01:13:158 (1) - , either up the volume or change the hitnormal for one that bring more feedback
    You are missing a slider border, since you are using a custom skin

  2. 01:16:794 - On all diffs, volume on that green line too quite, the hitsound blend too much with music, that should be more hearable in this case so you probably want to use ~30% volume there

  1. Since you change offset, some of your green line is not snapped properly e.g. 01:07:067 - that may affect you gameplay Fixed~
  2. 01:16:794 - On all diffs, volume on that green line too quite, the hitsound blend too much with music, that should be more hearable in this case so you probably want to use ~30% volume there Fixed~

  1. 00:02:021 (5) - Spacing too low, supposed to be at least 1.20x right? maybe try to move x:128 y:236? Fixed~
  2. 00:03:385 (4) - Same regarding the spacing, maybe can move to x:404 y:192? Fixed~
  3. 00:14:976 (1) - Missing clap on tail Fixed~
  4. 00:52:703 - Try to add another green line there to lower the volume on spinner end Fixed~

Having no hitsound at all is a no-no.

00:50:885 (3) - This could be placed at the center to complete the symmetric pattern of this combo, and to emphasize the sound of (3) better as a bigger spacing.
01:16:340 (3) - This can have a stronger hitsound such as a finish since the sounds are strong enough in the song.
01:18:612 (6) - 01:18:840 (1) - Consider adding a finish.
There are several random spacings here. Not really bad since most usages are to form a pattern in visual, but from next time, I recommend you to also think about the meanings of the placement other than just patterns. Such as, expressing the song by spacings. For example, 00:35:431 (2,3,4,5) is having an inconsistent spacing of 1/2 rhythms. Placing (5) at the center of the screen made the pattern clean, but there isn't much musical cue for 00:36:567 (5) to have a smaller spacing than (2,3,4).

Pretty much a clean mapping. Popped over some important stuffs I felt.

It's about the video.
I know some of you can play the mp4 just fine.
But not with some other players. (like me :v)

So,
if you still want to keep the mp4 as it is, I'm fine with it.
