  2. Skin preference is set differently in Meyrink's Normal.
[Easy]

  1. 00:01:906 (2,3,4) - Imo it's kinda hard to read this when you're playing for the first time, I think a 1/2 repeat slider fits better because it's easier for players to grasp the rhythm, so they'll become more comfortable with 00:04:764 (2,3,4) which has a similar rhythm.
  2. 00:10:835 (3) - Imo a straight repeat slider here looks so much better, you can also rotate the tail so it'll become pararell with 00:09:942 (2) . So it will become sth like this
  3. 00:14:228 (5,1) - Can you improve the flow here? Maybe you can change 00:14:942 (1) into a straight one like what you did on 00:17:799 (1) .
[Meyrink's Normal]

  1. 00:05:478 (4,5) - I would prefer these unstacked, as this stack didn't follow the same instrument compared to 00:07:978 (4,5) .
  2. Just my opinion but I think sliderarts in this section, from 00:12:085 - 00:20:656 are quite random. If you do a sliderart on a high pitch sound like 00:19:942 (5) it will emphasizes the instruments much better.
  3. 00:23:514 - I strongly recommend you to not put a break here since Easy didn't have one.
  4. 00:36:371 (4,5) - Just a random suggestion but how about making something symmetric from these two sliders?
  5. 01:01:371 (5) - I would remove this circle since it's kinda awkward to follow the vocal here while the rest of the combo is following on the instruments.
  6. 01:24:942 (6) - NC?

  1. 00:14:942 (1,2,3,4) - LOL this really surprised me because I thought this will be a back-and-forth pattern like what you used to do earlier.
  2. 00:22:443 (2,3,4) - Very hard to read imo, can you make these more dense or at least just put them linearly?s
  3. 01:11:371 (3,4,1) - Maybe it's just me, but I think the flow here isn't smooth as it should be.
Well I guess I'll stop here since modding anything harder than this is kinda exceeds my ability.
Since I mod only 4 diffs you can mod anything in my map, even only 1 diff is fine because I don't care much about drain time and stuff.

Meyrink's Normal has a skin preference. I think the mapset should be cohesive, so if you want to have a skin preference, all difficulties should have the same skin preference. If not, then remove the skin preference from the normal

00:23:514 (1) – I kinda liked the break in the Normal here. It might be nicer for the mapset if you put a break here.

00:34:049 (4,1,2,3) – There are patterns like this one around that I don't think have all that strong of a structure. Right now, the angles that these notes make don't look visually appealing to me, but this is just my opinion. 00:01:906 (3) – Consider making this just a circle to go with the calmer melody?

01:09:228 (3) – Consider moving this to 281, 92 to make the visual spacing between (2,3) more similar to that of (1,2) and (2,3)

01:22:085 (1,2,3) – Your rotations here are slightly off which is why you aren't getting the blanket on (1,3). Make (2) a 120 degree rotation of (1) and make (3) a 120 degree rotation of (2) and it should come out a little nicer, and then make the DS into (4) normal.

[Mochi's Hard]

00:17:799 (1,3) – It'd look nicer if these were blanketed. Try moving the red anchor to 388, 179 and the middle node to 352, 214: http://puu.sh/mL4iz/30df9fe128.jpg

00:37:442 (4,1) – These objects are pretty close the border. If you make the angle of 00:34:585 (4,5,6) - more steep (rotate clockwise ~5 degrees), you'll have a little more room to work with and can center these objects a little better. (comment below slightly related)

00:44:764 (1) – I'd like it if this slider didn't overlap with itself so much, like maybe http://puu.sh/mL4NY/7cd4ab604c.jpg. Also, it could be moved to the right a little more, which might give you room to move the red anchor if you want. The above comment helps that slightly, but if you want more room, you can curve 00:37:799 (1) – harder (like maybe being a 120 degree rotation of 00:36:906 (3) - ).

[Gu's Insane]

00:22:443 (2,3,4) – I'm not a fan of the big spacing here. The rhythm of the previous combo was going with the strong melody, so it doesn't feel intuitive for you to switch rhythms and emphasize the weaker drum so extremely. Furthermore, I think 01:00:478 (5,6,1) – is more intense musically, yet making a similarly big spacing wouldn't play well to me, which is one reason I don't like the big spacing in this part. I think by having a note at 00:22:710 (3) - , you have to give up emphasizing 00:22:799 (4) – with spacing. If you really want, you can try stacking (4) under (3), but otherwise I'd just go with small, easy spacing here.

01:19:228 (1,2) – It looks like (2) is a scaled up version of (1). The problem I have with this is that now (1) and (2) don't have the same curvature; i.e. (2) looks a little too flat next to (1). Try giving (2) a little bit of curve: http://puu.sh/mL7n3/87761b1747.jpg

01:23:871 (3,4) – You might need to make this spacing a little bit bigger to reflect the 1/1 rhythm here.

01:26:371 (1) – Ctrl + G to emphasize the new measure?

00:05:478 (4,1) – because these are separated by only ¼ rhythm, the distance between these feels a little too jumpy. 00:13:871 (2) – If you rotate this one degree clockwise, it will be a better mirror with 00:13:514 (1) -

00:23:514 (1,2) – The spacing here is a little too big to the point where it could be misinterpreted as 1/1 rhythm because of the strong finish on (1). Try moving (2) to ~220, 360 for a DS of 2.5 to transition a little smoother into the calmer section

00:47:264 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) – The DS here is a just a little too high for my taste in a relatively calm section of the song. Try scaling it down by .9~.95x

01:02:085 (1) – The SV increase isn't as impactful as I'd like it to be, so maybe consider SV of 1.05~1.10x? (although I'm not the target audience, and this change is more work than what its worth)

01:09:585 (2) – Try moving this 449, 136 not just for the blanket, but to increase the DS into (3) which feels like a strong note and should have the same DS (if not more) than that into 01:10:121 (2) - . This also now sets you up to make a more geometric structure on 01:09:585 (2,3,1,2) – by giving it a trapezoidal feel, say like: http://puu.sh/mJZhg/aa2d386422.jpg (01:08:335 (2) – etc was moved to down to make room for the pattern)

[Extra]

00:15:478 (4) – There is kind of a strong guitar note here, so the current distance feels a little too low. I'd make the DS into (4) be 1.9x to match 00:15:121 (2) – which could set up some symmetry, and if you do this, then maybe make 00:18:335 (4) – also have 1.9x spacing for similar reasons.

00:45:299 (3) – I'd like to see the jump into this reduced since this note sounds similar to 00:44:764 (1) – which has a small jump. We probably interpret the music differently, but the expectations you set with this small spacing and then the anti-jump at (2) doesn't play well with a very big jump here to me. Alternatively, you could make the distance into (1) bigger if you like the high level of spacing here that much (or do both). It would also help if you could move (3) away from the corner so that the note feels like you're not reaching as far into an awkward zone, which you can do by opening up the (3,4) angle by moving 00:42:978 (4) – etc to the right and by tightening the angle at 00:44:228 (4,5,6) - .

01:01:371 (1) – I'm not a fan of how this overlaps with itself. Give the beginning of the slider more room so the flow of the slider is more visible to the player.

01:24:942 (1,2,3,4) – Consider making these ½ sliders with a SV of .75 so the transition into the calmer section isn't so abrupt. (making 01:26:371 (1,2,3) – into sliders in addition is good too.)

ummm i just made things kinda consistent for the slider end in down beat every measures and i hate 1/1 mapping ! for blankets i dont use slider circle as reference , when it just looks right for the eyes then it is right
someone talked about break ! well u can do anything if its a gd ! like kiai time and breaks and drain time where ending the map etc ...
did slight changes but have no time to post replies and reasons to each one cuz busy

00:15:478 (4) – There is kind of a strong guitar note here, so the current distance feels a little too low. I'd make the DS into (4) be 1.9x to match 00:15:121 (2) – which could set up some symmetry, and if you do this, then maybe make 00:18:335 (4) – also have 1.9x spacing for similar reasons.

00:45:299 (3) – I'd like to see the jump into this reduced since this note sounds similar to 00:44:764 (1) – which has a small jump. We probably interpret the music differently, but the expectations you set with this small spacing and then the anti-jump at (2) doesn't play well with a very big jump here to me. Alternatively, you could make the distance into (1) bigger if you like the high level of spacing here that much (or do both). It would also help if you could move (3) away from the corner so that the note feels like you're not reaching as far into an awkward zone, which you can do by opening up the (3,4) angle by moving 00:42:978 (4) – etc to the right and by tightening the angle at 00:44:228 (4,5,6) - .

01:01:371 (1) – I'm not a fan of how this overlaps with itself. Give the beginning of the slider more room so the flow of the slider is more visible to the player. tbh its not really hard to read, i just didn't know how i could put this note while keeping the structure. the overlap looks p nice to me anyway xd

01:24:942 (1,2,3,4) – Consider making these ½ sliders with a SV of .75 so the transition into the calmer section isn't so abrupt. (making 01:26:371 (1,2,3) – into sliders in addition is good too.) uhm. i don't think that works that well imo ><

  1. Might want to see what you can do with it, but there's nothing at 01:27:799, the last ring thingy is snapped to 01:27:770 which is a 1/12 tick, either resnap sliders or add a custom timing point there, it's off and should be changed imho.

  1. 00:01:192 (2,3) - Could you make those mirror each other and this way look less awkward? Try moving (3) to x460 y338
  2. 00:10:835 (1,2,1) - It looks cool but I think you could tone down the spacing changes, it feels kinda forced with the huge jump from 1->2 and then 2->3 kills it.
  3. 00:24:942 (1,2,1) - It's cool and nice, but I don't understand everything else in this section.. Adding a jump on each vocal like this would be cool, but you just suppressed the pattern.

  4. 01:27:442 (4) - That's not really necessary, nor completely awful, but I'd avoid using this here anyway.
