KANTAN
00:22:891 This slider doesn't feel to add anything :/ maybe remove it and replace with 2 dons or so
00:33:091 Again this slider doesn't feel needed, maybe replace with d k
00:38:491 This spinner feels really long. Seeing as this is a kantan diff maybe end the spinner at 042:691 or so
00:49:391 This don doesn't feel right, this comes with ending the spinner earlier, and at 048.091 add a don instead
00:59:191 This don feels displaced, the previous 3 feel right but this one feels like it could be left out
01:30:091 Change this to kat
01:34:891 Delete this slider and replace with dons at 01:34:891, 01:135:191, 01:35:491 Also to prevent things from getting too close to spinners you can consider making the slider shorter
01:57:091 Replace the slider with D 01:57:091, K 01:57:391, D 01:57:691
02:15:991 Replace slider with D 02:15:991 D )2:16:291 and then delete the slider for a break. It's kantan, a break should be nice for the noobies You can end the break at 02:36:091 where the spinner ends now because the vocal-ish doesn't really need the spinners
02:36:019 until 02:45:691 Delete the middle notes in the pattern, so 2,5,8,11,14,17,20,23
02:54:391 Take the slider out and make the spinner longer
03:00:091 03:04:891 03:09:691 Make these a slider for the sake of not overusing spinners
03:22:891 -> 03:24:091 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 make this a d k d k d pattern to add some variety to the map
04:11:191 this spinner is too short for newbies, i say either replace it with a slider or with k k k

Futsuu
The futsuu is a lot of stars and pretty hard for a futsuu diff, same as with the muzu, i think that you should either get someone to make another easier futsuu for the lesser players or lower this one's difficulty.
ENTIRE SONG there are these patterns in the song where there's 3 dons followed by a kat, for example at 00:45:691 1, 2, 3, 4 The kat feels offbeat, not compared to the song but to the general rhythm that you feel and most people that play futsuu because they can't play anything harder will not expect this and lose accuracy a lot here.
i recommend having a break in the first part of the vocals because this is a lower difficulty and it's sort of long now.

Muzukashii

Muzu is sort of pushing how hard a muzu can be, it's higher stars than a lot of other muzus. that's not bad but then i'd say get someone to make a easier muzu as well for the lesser experienced players. For the rest i found this a really nice map, but in the beginning the triplets are a little bit on the fast side, maybe take the middle note out with some?

ONI
00:09:391 maybe make this pattern kkddkd
00:18:241 (143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154) I get that this is a oni difficulty but this isn't really fun to play. if you want to make this really hard consider doing something like this : kdddkdddkdkdkkdd or ddddkkddkkddkkkd or even kkddkdkdkkkkdddk to say some patterns because the 1/8 isn't really needed. otherwise you can also just do 3 1/4 notes like kkk ddd kkk instead of 4 1/8 notes to make it more enjoyable
00:38:641 replace this slider with a pattern like ddddkkkkddkkdk
01:07:591 172, 173, 174, 175, 176 change this pattern to ddddk, i feel like there' too many bursts that 'focus' around the kats
01:32:191 275 change to kat
01:33:841 291 change to don
01:48:691 74 change to kat
01:49:891 83 change to don
01:57:691 140 change to kat
02:18:091 after this spinner put in a break time, they've been playing for 2 minutes and deserve a break in the vocal part, start again at 02:31:141
02:33:091 i say change this stream to ddddkkkkddddkkddkdddkdddk
02:37:216 02:38:416 - 57, 65 take out these 2 notes and move the next note [58] [66] to where it was
02:54:391 change the stream to kdddkdddkkdd or kdddkdddkdkd
03:01:716 remove 12, 13 to make the slider a bit more do-able
03:25:591 127-131 change this to ddddk
03:52:441 change this stream to ddkkddk
04:35:291 replace these with 1/8 notes instead of 1/6
04:37:741 even though the music is the same i recommend not having the same stream twice because it makes the song feel repetitive.change it to something like kkddkkd or so
04:44:891 take the 1/6 out , replace with 1/4

Here's the mod as requested:

Kantan
00:09:691 (22) - change to big blue note because of Cymbal crash.
00:18:991 (42) - (this note doesn't exist in your version, but I added it in mine because of a very obvious emphasis point. Change the note here from small red to big red for emphasis.
00:19:291 (42) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash
00:28:891 (64) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:07:291 (45) - ^
01:07:441 (46) - (This note doesn't exist in your version, but I added this note as a possible point for starting a slider/drumroll that would last through notes 47, 48, and end here: 01:08:491 (49).
01:16:891 (70) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:17:041 - Another good point to start a drumroll that ends on note 71.
01:18:091 (72) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:18:241 - Another good point to start a drumroll that ends of note 73.
01:19:291 (74) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:20:491 (77) - ^
01:20:641 - Another good point to start a drumroll that ends on note 78.
01:21:691 (79) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:21:841 - Another good point to start a drumroll that ends on note 80.
01:22:441 - A good spot to place another note for the obvious sound.
01:22:891 (81) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:24:091 (85) - ^
01:25:291 (87) - ^
01:26:491 (89) - ^
01:27:091 (90) - Change to big red due to emphasis.
01:27:691 (91) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:28:291 (92) - Change to big red due to emphasis.
01:28:891 (93) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:29:491 (94) - Change to big red due to emphasis.
01:30:091 (95) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:30:691 (96) - Change to big red due to emphasis.
01:31:291 (97) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:31:891 (99) - ^
01:32:491 (100,101,102) - ^
01:33:691 (103,104) - ^
01:33:691 (103,104) - Good place to add a big red due to very noticeable emphasis here. If not big red, small red.
01:38:491 (1) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
01:48:091 (23) - ^
02:07:291 (65) - ^
02:24:091 - Here, instead of the five small reds in a row, a drum roll would be a nice substitute :)
02:45:691 (24) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
03:24:091 (30) - ^
03:24:241 - Another good place for a drum roll that goes all the way to 03:25:291 (32).
03:33:391 (46) - Change to big red due to emphasis.
03:33:691 (47) - Change to big blue for cymbal crash.
03:43:291 (69) - ^
04:02:491 (115) - ^
04:21:691 (21) - ^
04:31:291 (42) - ^

Overall, a good map with good, solid patterns, however, the map doesn't do anything with the big notes, and that is a real downside to playing the map. It seems to fall flat without the big notes that I suggested above. When substituted in, they really help to liven up the map quite a bit from the way it was previously.

I hope you found this useful!

Hi! From my forum NM/M4M taiko queue.
I am pretty thorough, so don't be annoyed if I point out a lot of issues. A lot of times they are just my opinions, so feel free to object to them. :3

I look at mainly composing: how you map the music. Not just the drums; the vocals, background synth, the symphonic backing, the pauses; everything. But especially vocals.
I also look at pattern repetition and consistency, and how you fit in your 1/4 runs.

d = don
k = katsu
D = big don
K = big katsu

[General]
Difficulty curve spikes at oni. Suggest making a easier Oni at 4 point something stars and renaming this current Oni as Inner Oni.

Gonna mod Muzukashii and Futsuu, Oni is above my skill level and I don't have the experience to understand what contributes to the flow for this difficulty.

[Futsuu]
00:09:091 (31,32) - change both to d, as it matches the entry of the bass drum kick
00:11:791 (40) - maybe change this to K? The current ddkk pattern is a bit monotonous imo, would be better if you could vary it up a bit someway
00:18:091 (61) - remove would match the music
00:19:591 (67) - change to d, match 00:24:391 (85), 00:29:191 (103) and 00:33:991 (121) for consistency (or the other way round, up to you)
00:45:691 - add timing section from here to 00:47:491 , decrease hitsound volume
00:52:891 (19,20,21,22,23,24) - I prefer these as ddk for consistency with 00:48:091 (7,8,9,10,11,12)
01:02:341 - add d here to match the synth (if you feel that the difficulty is too great, you might want to move 01:02:116 (43) forward 1/4 instead)
01:11:941 - ^
01:26:491 (94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101) - maybe reverse these? K would match synth high pitch as well as provide cymbals hitsound, and d would match bass drum kick
01:39:541 - see 01:02:341, here in particular this particular pattern really breaks the flow
01:40:741 - same thing goes for all similar patterns in this segment
01:57:391 (62) - this slider/roll can't provide the emphasis for the onbeat at 01:57:691, consider recomposing
02:32:491 (17,18,19,20) - change to ddkk, match vocals
02:49:891 (61,62,63) - change to dkd, match synth high pitch
03:08:941 (10) - change to k to differentiate this from the previous phrase, as well as match vocals (somewhat)
03:15:541 - see 01:39:541, same thing goes for all similar patterns in this segment
03:33:391 (64) - change to K? would provide emphasis for the vocal whoop
03:52:441 (126) - see 01:57:391
03:52:891 - from here on out these same patterns become kinda repetitive, I would suggest modifying them in some way to make it less so
04:12:391 (189) - see 00:19:591
04:42:091 (295) - change to k, match subsequent patterns
04:46:891 (311) - ^
04:50:341 (324) - change to a slider/roll of the same length? The music doesn't fade out, I feel like the "buzz" sounds would be mapped better with a slider, seeing as how they're played in Taikosu

[Muzukashii]
I feel like a lack of consistency is an issue here. A lot of your patterns don't repeat or are just mixed and matched in sorta randomly. :/

00:05:041 (14) - move to 00:04:741 to match bass drum kick
00:09:841 (32) - change to d to match 00:11:041 (40) for consistency
00:16:891 (76) - remove and extend slider/roll to here?
00:18:991 (81) - change to K would add an extra emphasis on the vocal whoop
00:27:991 (127) - change to k? I don't feel like having a D here would emphasize anything in the music, and k would match vocals
00:30:091 (139,140) - change to d k, match onbeat d offbeat k pattern
00:36:091 - this run doesn't really match the music/vocals, I would change it from this

to this

00:57:391 (53) - change to k, match synth pitch
00:57:691 (54) - change to a slider with 4/1 length?
01:04:141 (83) - change to k for consistency with 01:02:941 (77)
01:04:891 (88) - change to d for consistency with 01:03:691 (81)
01:06:991 (101) - change to k, match synth pitch
01:16:891 (143,147,152,156,161,165,170,175,180,184,189,194) - change these all to K?
01:31:291 (200,202,204,206) - these as well, change to K?
01:35:791 - shorten that slider/roll to here, match drums
01:42:541 (25) - change to k, add emphasis to synth
02:09:841 (182) - delete, shorten this particular run (given that the other runs are much shorter in this section of the song)
02:16:291 (219,222) - change to k, match vocals
02:16:891 (1) - this is just lazy imo =="
02:33:841 - add d, match bass drum kick
02:45:991 (95) - change to d, match 02:47:191 (100) and 02:48:391 (106) for consistency
02:52:291 (127,128,129,130,131,132) - change to ddk d k d, for consistency with previous measure
02:55:291 - shorten this slider/roll and add D here for emphasis
02:58:741 (159) - change to k, match vocal's high pitch
03:13:291 - maybe shorten this spinner and start mapping the more complex drum pattern here?
03:33:691 - shorten this spinner, and add D here for emphasis
04:20:341 - add d/k here to match vocals
04:24:691 - this run doesn't really match the music/vocals, I would change it from this:

to this

04:50:491 (1) - see Futsuu

And also, after looking through my mod, would you mind taking the time to check out my taiko set? <3

Both EdamaMe411's and bananannian's mods applied (most of them and updated mine and TwilightForest's diffs.
FlamingRok
Hello, from the Priority Modding Queue! I had a lot of fun modding this one, it was well done! The following are purely suggestions, and do not need to be added in if you feel it is not necessary.

d=don
k=kat
D=large don
K=large kat

[TwilightForest's Kantan]

00:01:291 (3) (4) (5) Change these notes to k, to match the higher pitched sounds.
00:03:691 (8) (9) (10) ^
00:06:091 (13) (14) (15) ^
00:08:491 (18) (19) (20) I'd personally change these from d d k to k k d.
00:18:691 (41) I think this should be a d.
00:19:291 (42) This should be a D.
00:34:891 (78) (79) These both should be k to keep consistency with the previous patterns.
01:06:091 (41) Change to a k to match the higher pitched sound.
01:06:691 (43) Change to d for the opposite reason.
01:15:691 (65) Change to a k.
01:16:291 (67) Change to a d.
01:31:891 (98) Change to a k.
01:33:091 (101) ^
01:51:691 (31) (32) Change both to a k.
01:52:291 (33) (34) Change both to a d.
01:56:491 (42) Change to a k.
02:01:291 (51) ^
02:45:091 (22) (23) Swap these two notes around with each other.
03:22:891 (26) (27) (28) Change from d d k to k k d.
03:27:691 (36) Change to a k.

Oni -
00:18:241 - these sliders aren't very good
from 00:48:091 - to 00:56:491 - isn't very good. I don't like how repetitive it is, for a part where you can change it up. Just the base combo, x x x xxxxx x is just bad for like, the sound and the point in which it is mapped. I don't know what to say, but just dont use 1/4 at this part and wait until the end of what I specified.
01:57:391 - kkkkd, listen to the sound.
02:16:891 - 02:31:291 - I am so disappointed you mapped only the vocals for this part. Oh well.
02:33:691 - starting here, you can do kdkdkdkdkdkdk, not ddkkddkkddkk, etc.
I don't like the xx xx xxx stuff, it is very repetitive and boring. Use variety.
02:56:491 - 03:09:732 - I am disappointed again you decided to go with vocals.
I wont even comment on other stuff
04:12:091 - 04:31:291 - This is awesome and cool, you really did good here even if it isnt the way i'd map it, I am happy you mapped this part appropriately.

I will say one thing, I don't like this map. That's not very constructive, but maybe it's needed. I never felt this is a good map for mapping in this specific style, the easier oni, and maybe if you have something like an Inner Oni this diff will look better, but as it is, I hate how boring it feels. The basic combo you keep repeating, x x x xxxxx x is really not good, you can try other things with the diff to make these parts not so repetitive. I also dont like the constant d d d d d d spam, try using more kats.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings in this mod, I only want to help you, because I don't think it's a bad map, I just don't personally enjoy it. If you make some major changes to the repetitiveness of the map, I can come back and give you a much better mod, right now, I think oni is a complete mess.

As it seems, however, your other diffs look good. I feel perhaps you may be a good easier mapper who is struggling with harder maps ?

I will add one more thing, check out Kazu's Inner Oni on his mapset - https://osu.ppy.sh/s/56850 for more ideas of what you can map in this way :)

Thanks for mod, I've thought what to change with these suggestions, but it's hard due to length of the song and constant rhythm. Anyway, maybe now it's better if you want to check. :3 And about that Inner Oni you linked... IMO it's overmapped as... :P

Yeah I know it's overmapped but it's only so you could maybe use some of its ideas for your map. It has a completely different way of mapping from your map, so I feel you could draw some inspiration from it :)

Nearly all adding ignored, because I was mapping to intuitive rhythm and IMO it's good, but I applied some color changes, maybe even all, don't really remember which one. Thanks :3

:!: :!: There are no kiai times in TwilightForest's Kantan and Muzukashii difficulties. Please add kiai times into these two diffs so that it'll be the same with the Futsuu and Oni difficulties.

  • [TwilightForest's Kantan]
  1. Nothing really worth pointing out in this diff other than the repetitiveness of the note structure at some parts. But then again this is a Kantan diff, so I guess it should be fine.

  • [Futsuu]
:!: Too repetitive with the note structures. Especially during the first half of the kiai time - 02:37:891 until 02:53:791 - Too much repetition of 1/1 spaced "ooo" patterns, I would suggest changing up the patterns abit to add a little more variation to the note structure for this part.

:!: Also, after the kiai time at 03:15:691 all the way until 04:12:091 - is just a huge repeat of the constant d d d k note structure. I recommend adding a few notes on some of the red lines in the middle of those d d d k patterns (not all of them!) so that it won't look so dull.

  • [TwilightForest's Muzukashii]
  1. 02:47:191 (101) - Change this to kat so that you have a consistent kat rhythm with 02:45:991 (96) - ?

  2. 02:48:391 (107) - Same for this, change to kat?

  3. 03:32:416 (90) - Try moving this note over to 03:32:116 -, it flows better with the music imo

  4. 03:55:591 (127) - Change to kat so that the kat rhythm is consistent with 03:54:391 (121) -

  • [Oni]
  1. 00:38:641 (305) - This spinner is not placed in a correct beat of 1/4, which causes this to happen :
Please change the beat snap divisor to 1/4 and then start the slider at 00:38:641 - and end it at 00:39:541 -

  2. 01:01:591 (113,114) - Swap these two notes to k d, it creates a better flow with the music for this part

  3. 01:34:816 (282) - Delete this note. It causes the slider that comes after it to be way too hard to catch. And it also breaches the guidelines : http://puu.sh/ipRhF/4a6d2fd6f1.jpg

  4. 02:24:466 (14) - This slider does not go along with the music well. Plus, it also breaks the same guideline above ^ I suggest just following what you did for these long vocal notes before this at 02:21:541 - and delete the kkkkd stream at 02:24:091 - and then adding a spinner to replace it, ending it at 02:25:291 -
It should look something like this :
    Spinner starts at 02:24:091

  5. 03:02:491 (9,10,11,12,13,14) - ^ Same for this entire thing, remove the kkkkd and replace it with a spinner ending at 03:03:691 -

That's all from me, good luck with the map~

00:18:991 - Add k for the "howl" vocal?
00:50:191 (4) - 00:52:591 (9) - 00:54:991 (14) - 00:56:791 (19,21) - k? For building up another pattern.
01:21:391 (78) - Since here's a drum, which is different from other parts, then maybe add a k? 01:25:591 - Same
01:42:991 (11,12) - Swap?
03:07:291 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Seems too hard for Kantan
03:28:591 - Add d?
03:57:091 (101,102,103,104) - four ds, would be too hard?
04:04:891 (120,121,122,123,124,125,126,127,128) - Still worrying about if it is too hard

[Futsuu]
00:17:191 Maybe add d here? For the drum here.
00:45:691 (1,2,3) - Maybe try dkd? 00:48:091 (7,8,9) - Same. Also same for latter patterns.
01:42:691 (14) - k?
01:47:191 (29) - remove? Keep consistent with your former sections.

hi

[General]
  1. Add to tags: tpz, CHS, C.H.S, TANO*C
    - tpz -> Abbreviation or other name t+pazolite uses.
    - CHS -> Circle label that t+pazolite owns.
    - C.H.S -> Same thing as the above, just a slightly different way of writing the name.
    - TANO*C -> HARDCORE TANO*C is the group that t+pazolite is a member of, as well as a label that Answer from X Girlz was released under. (Hardcore was already in the tags, that's why I didn't mention it again.)
[TwilightForest's Kantan]
  1. 00:01:291 - to 00:02:491 - k k k feels like it really misses the beats that are occurring with the 1/2 rhythm going on here. But you simplified it so it stuck to 1/1. imo, I think just doing this might work out a bit better for you, in terms of simplifying the rhythm here, rather than forcing it to 1/1.
  2. 00:03:691 - and 00:06:091 - Same thing as the above, if you agree.
  3. 00:08:791 - Could be removed to emphasize the change in rhythm that's being followed at 00:09:091 - .
  4. 00:09:691 - Intentionally skipping this finish? Personally speaking, I would make it a K.
  5. 00:10:291 - and 00:10:891 - CTRL+G. The rhythm repeats at 00:10:891 - , rather than at 00:10:291 - . And the beginning of the repeated rhythm sounds a lot stronger than what is going on at 00:10:291 -.
  6. 00:11:491 - Following the above, would suggest k d k.
  7. 00:12:691 - and 00:13:291 - Same as 00:10:291 -.
  8. 00:15:991 - Remove. Sounds weird to have a denser pattern right before the build up at 00:16:891 - , rather than during it.
  9. 00:16:291 - Same as 00:11:491 - .
  10. 00:17:491 - k k d. A bit denser rhythm would be better for the build up that's going on here.
  11. 00:18:691 - If you're going to have a volume change at 00:18:091 - , you might want to have one here too, as an in between of 00:18:091 - and 00:19:291 - , so the change doesn't sound so out of place.
  12. 00:22:891 - This slider seems a bit weird, since all it seems to be following is the vocal. (?) From 00:22:891 - to 00:24:091 - try something more like this to match the vocals a bit better.
  13. 00:25:291 - Try d k k d k for better variation with the vocals.
  14. 00:28:891 - Intentionally ignoring this finish?
  15. 00:33:091 - Seems a bit out of place, like the last slider. It's in the middle of a 1/1 rhythm, which might feel a bit awkward for newer players. Try having some hitcircles instead.
  16. 00:38:491 - This is a veryyyyy long spinner for a new player. As well as the fact that there is only a 1/1 break between it and the note at 00:48:391 - , I don't really think most beginners would finish this spinner. I would honestly just suggest having a finisher at 00:38:491 - and start mapping again at 00:48:091 - , since there isn't really all that much to map to here. You probably disagree, but I think the spinner is really weird at this difficulty level. >w<
  17. 00:48:391 - to 01:01:291 - The simplified rhythm that you used in this part sounds really off. Are you trying to follow the higher pitched sound in the background, and ignoring the melody? Kind of curious about this. Also ignored a finish here. ;w;
I'm going to stop here for now, I want to hear the GDer's opinion on these things before I continue modding this difficulty.

  1. 00:01:291 - to 00:02:491 - k k k feels like it really misses the beats that are occurring with the 1/2 rhythm going on here.

As I got permission from GDer I changed everything you mentioned (I meant I applied all) and removed spinner with adding some circles to not have a break and follow rhythm as it should be (I think).
